(map is non-rotatable) (can be exited the same way, press M) would be even more immersive if the sentinel would remain in position, while projecting the map, and the player can move around the projected map. I was always under the impression that Sentinels were also rather limited in their intelligence. I suppose Helios could do it, but I can't see the likes of carrier having that utility. cha0sWyrM Posted August 27, 2021 Share Posted August 27, 2021 i dont think it would enhance the game at all, but sure ok. what i would like to see.....is extraction points marked on the map itself. i cant tell you how often it happens that the green dot hud marker is just flat out wrong and sends me the opposite way. often, if the extraction point is at a different elevation from your current position, the map gets confused about how to tell you to get there. if you could look at the map...and just see the general direction of the extraction point....that would be very helpful. it doesn't make sense that this isnt already how it works. There's really no case where you need to stop and pour over the map for any meaningful period of time. Plus it would make reading the map harder.
