StratoS117
Hey Tenno, I'll be posting all of my workshop stuff in this thread. Please feel free to critique and drop some ideas for what you would like to see! Here is a very early notsosneak peek at what I'm currently working on. Chest Progress Update: Quick Tennogen Tool Import to make sure Transfer Maps in Maya actually works (Spoiler it does!) More work on the back and arms. I think this is the finished body sculpt. Time for the helm and the arm forks. Well sculpting is done. Went ahead and transferred maps. Looks alright in the engine. Just gotta clean up the normals a but and then its off to texturing land! I decided to resculpt parts of the helmet. Comes out better when I bake the normals now. [11/2] Hey Tenno. Sorry it's been a minute since I posted some progress. School and commission work have kinda been taking over my free time. Anyway, Helmet texturing is almost done. Just need the decals and tint mask. Here is a peak at how Mag is looking so far. Also thanks for all the awesome support and comments guys. <3 Edited November 3, 2015 by StratoS117

AdunSaveMe
That's pretty neat. How'd you do it?
StratoS117
That's pretty neat. How'd you do it? I'm sculpting new details on the default model in ZBrush. From there I will import both the original and my new sculpt into Maya and transfer UV attributes/bake normals. And then comes the fun texturing part. CelsiusPrime
Sounds difficult. understatement for those of us that don't do it on a regular basis. but that looks awesome I can't wait to have a good mag skin.
Klarbauter
I thought you can only sculpt capes/syandanas at the moment? Mag Warframe: Skin (texture) Volt Warframe: Skin (texture) Excalibur Warframe: Skin (texture) Sybaris Rifle: Skin (texture) Gorgon Rifle: Skin (texture) Amprex Rifle: Skin (texture) Original Warframe Cape/Syandana. Galtego
Unfortunately I dont think theyre doing custom helmets (even if it is only changing the normal mapping): "These skins only affect the bodies of the characters, but you should take the helmets into consideration as you are designing." from https://warframe.com/steamworkshop/help/index.php?page=creating-a-warframe-skin Edited October 24, 2015 by Galtego

I'd rather get the body done first before anything else however.
Captkiro
dont' forget to seperate the helmet and the body when baking normals.

Zerga-08
You know what, a skin like this may get me to play Mag again. Even as a WIP it looks sick. <

_Connor
Nice to see someone actually sculpting and not just slapping decals on. Wish i wasn't so amateur at zBrush. Though i might try some more hard surface type work in Maya.
