do you use the melee lifesteal?

i usually dont because i simply dont have the mod slots for it in most of my builds, since i usually run blood rush/body count berserker builds

Not since I've stopped using equipped melee. I just quick melee since slide attacks are the same, and any frames that I actually full equip melee on, can survive just fine without it.
Especially now that endless missions are pretty much nonexistant thanks to void rework.

Also I don't actually use any melees with enough mod slots to be able to function well without full crit builds.

I've forgotten about lifesteal many MRs ago. I find that health pads are more convenient.

Used to be a mandatory mod on my melee now I don't use it at all. I carry health packs with me if I truly need health restoration.

Weapon holstering's to slow. When i do decide to go full melee i typicaly go with saryn/valkyr/chroma/inaros/trinity, which can heal much easier

Yes, unless my frame can heal or innately lifestrike, because look here:

I might have a lot more damage without the mod, but a dead me isn't going to be dishing that damage.

I run it all the time to recover from mistakes and gain energy safely without orbs via rage+QT.

I also usually play excal and it works well to upkeep my exalted blade

I use it on every frame and every melee weapon. I even melee stuff with trinity because the healing is cheaper energy wise.

I just pop Valkyr's 4 and kill an enemy or two if I need HP, otherwise I don't really use Life Strike, I prefer to just have more damage.

On Frames which need it, such as Inaros and Chroma. Not on frames which use quick-thinking (such as loki/nova/).

One of the few that does not use life strike. Medi-Ray does the job most of the time. Then there is either scattered justice from my hek or the justice from my vaykor marelok that does restore health. 

Dont tell anyone but when I use Atlas I have rejuvination equipped.

Pretty much this. Energy comes and goes but health keeps you moving....as opposed to stationary. Perma stationary! Ok, dead.

With Saryn built for rage and armor on the dual ichors. My favorite way to play. But after her rework it doesn't seem nearly as good. The armor to health to energy seems off now.

For everything else there are Large Health restores.

I use it on every melee weapon I use regularly. In high level content it's the only way to really maintain your health. No matter how powerful your frame is there is always a point where you'll need healing if you go long enough. I also tend to like really long high level endless mission types, so it definitely helps.

Actually lifesteal is the first mod I install on a melee weapon.

I find that mod essential.

Always and Maxed, a single swing refills all HP. If you need damage use Body Count to keep the combo up and use the Stance combos, those have multipliers.

I think there's more people who don't use it only because it's such a rare drop. lol
