Lua spy out! That's a unexpected but welcome boon.

Frohd doesn't seem to project enthusiasm for his product, if he actually is trying to sell his product, it doesn't seem he's very confident in it, the music also gave off the vibe it was like a humorous joke, : /  even if it all is a Corpus scam.

We have made some tweaks to older Warframe Auras. As you may know, an Aura's Mod Rank determines how much additional Mod Capacity you get. We've increased the following Auras form 3 Ranks to 5 Ranks. With this change, we also buffed the Auras:

  • Speed Holster has gone from 80% to 120% at Max Rank.
  • Dead Eye has gone from 35% to 52.5% at Max Rank.
  • EMP Aura has gone from 10% to 15% at Max Rank.
  • Sprint Boost Aura has gone from 10% to 15% at Max Rank.

eh.....why not just make ALL auras = to Steel Charge's Cap....would have to forma so many slots when we want to change an aura :|

as for the listed aura changes....sadly these auras are still useless compared to the rest...but thanks for the buffs i guess.

Fixed being able to walk around in Mesa’s Peacemaker by opening the Power Menu.

Dang, considering how she couldn't shoot half the time while doing so combined with how slow the walking was, I really felt like this bug added a lot to her playstyle.

Removed Lua Spy missions from Sortie rotation due to extensive Client loading times on min spec machines. Please note that we are working to fix this and add Lua Spy missions back into the Sortie rotation.

You can keep that. Nobody will not  complain about this if this won't appear in the future.

After all the feedback and criticism, this is all you're going to do with not even a word that he's still WIP? Please, DE, drop the ball harder...

My thoughts exactly at this point.

Every person complaining that Oberon's "+50% energy pool buff is nothing" clearly hasn't bothered building him as anything but a Reckoning spammer.

Making blind assumptions makes you look bad.

I'm not saying it's nothing, but it is definitely a slap in the face. We were told that we would have our feedback looked over and changes made following. Then, after the weekend in which we left feedback and discussed issues, all we got was this minor energy pool buff.

Not only that, but he still has many problems that haven't been resolved and no statements were provided saying that DE would/was considering more changes in the near future.

I can't blame players for being upset.

I am, that's for sure. The energy buff is nice, but he still has so many awkward qualities and quirks that need tweaking on top of some of the flat out problems he has.

Can I just say that I very highly appreciate being able to colour the Supra Vandal?

This marks the first Vandal weapon to do so. This marks a new evolution in fashion. This is Vandal Reborn.

WHAT!?

WE CAN COLOR IT?!

Ah ya, hopefully some older ones will get this treatment soonish.

Ya, our favorite pirate really needs some love.

Though, in Oberon's case, we were told that our feedback would be reviewed and changes made accordingly.

Unfortunately, that isn't exactly what seemed to happen.

I have hopes that Hydroid's inevitable rework and buffs go better/more smoothly than what has recently happened with Oberon.

None of this forced and odd synergy or strange and energy intensive combos with no cushion.

The main issues with Oberon were that his energy economy was next to mediocre. This change addressed that, and I'm happy where he is now. I've been endlessly playing him since his rework, shoved five forma into him and even invested in Arcane Energize solely for him. I'm using a Guardian Derision & Electromagnetic Shield (Ack and Brunt) build with him, where he's essentially a Renewal tank; this helps immensely during Kuva siphons and floods. People are just playing him or building him wrong.

I'll start by saying, I've watched 90% of the videos and read about 80% of the comments, along with having about 50-80 hours of playtime on new oberon, between each buff cycle.  The lack of attention or even effort for players to watch the flippin devstream is infuriating. People are crying about Oberon, I main him, he is significantly better but needs a little more on the power strength side IMHO. For those who didn't watch the dev stream, and i'll put this in quotes for people who are skim readers, they said in response to questions.

Scott[Design Director] starts at 36:24 in Devstream #91 "I think whats next is, kind of, let it sit for a couple of days over the weekend, see what feedback looks like. Come Monday, Tuesday, sometime next week, we'll have another look. Currently I'm pretty happy with where he's at. Currently there are lots of requests for different things, so there's no real consensus about what, to do further. So I think that's where we're at. We're kind of going to let what we've done sit, and then we are going to see how he fares and see what we're thinking come next week. Not saying there's not going to be more changes, not saying it's going to remain the way it is. But there could be further changes, if we deem it necessary. You know, some of the stuff, you start to do a rework, and people say 'well that's not the rework that I dreamt about! So i'm gonna go and rage about and say that this isn't the proper thing to do'...."

Be critical, yes, but don't be whiny trolls about it. Watch the video, you can tell Scott was thinking hard and long about Oberon and his direction, as well as how he fits into the game and future updates. They are working on it, and the biggest obstacle as of right now is not the devs, but the player base who can't seem to decide on what they want for oberon. Some want a super healer, others want to change his abilities entirely, and some actually enjoy the direction he is going in. He fits my play style perfectly with the armor buff and multiple ways to play him. I don't mean to Hijack but I feel a response is necessary to people who want to complain and argue but not hear the other side, it's Thursday and the devs are still working on new primes, plus tennocon, plus baro and getting all of his stuff to fit, plus bugs, plus tennogen, plus birds, plus watching the Ambulas event for bugs plus hearing us cry like kids asking for candy for ALL OF IT. Voice your opinions respectfully and constructively, and the community can and then hopefully will come up with a better version of oberon as his weird self, not everyone's individual godframe that they can use to run 30 hour t4 defense missions.

Jesus H christ get it together, run some ambula missions, voice your opinions CONSTRUCTIVELY AND RESPECTIVELY and make some posts of the same type outlining your thoughts.

Sorry for the thread jack DE, if you must remove this I'll have a copy to post elsewhere in the forums.

Best regards to all,

Again, making assumptions does not look good on your part.

Not everyone has arcane energize. Actually, I would say the majority of our community goes without one.

And increasing his energy pool in no way aids him in gaining energy. It does however let him continue his combos slightly longer when topped off.

My problem, and that of others as I have seen, is that we are playing a game in which continued movement is practically a requirement in many, if not most, scenarios, leading to re-casting Hallowed Ground many times on top of his other abilities. And, as it stands, Hallowed Ground still does very little on its own and has an incredibly poor range.

Sure, Oberon's problems can be alleviated by not casting as frequently. But, with the way his abilities currently work with one another and how costly they can be in conjunction without maxed efficiency, this can lead to a fairly large gap between casts if you want to truly conserve energy. This isn't aided by how Renewal is per person.

Rage helps as well, but using Rage with efficiency mods (assuming max efficiency) eats three slots right off the bat. Then, with the energy buff, we'd most likely want to make use of primed flow. That eats another slot.

Maybe my issue comes down to how his abilities and the lack of way to cushion/lighten his costs or refund his energy limits builds for play among teams. I'd like to try more diverse builds to aid his abilities more, but in the process I cut down on how much I can actually efficiently use the abilities I just modded for. It's kind of unfortunate.

Invest in duration for Hallowed Ground. It keeps your team immune to status effects; this is IMMENSE. It also prevents Quick Thinking stagger, but I had to include Stretch into my build to make this viable. That's not to say I wouldn't prefer them improving upon HG by having it provide energy when standing in it, or that it's not unreasonable it's taken several forma and arcane energize to make him viable end-game, but he really isn't in that bad of a spot right now.

Oh, good! For a moment there I was concerned, because I had no idea how I had built Oberon. Thanks for clearing that up!

I barely use Reckoning apart from killing trash mobs. The complaints aren't about the extra energy, but more about how DE doesn't seem to be listening to feedback like they said they would. His skills still eat way more energy than they should, given that he has no way to gain energy back. Smite and Hallowed Ground are still terrible, and Reckoning isn't worth using in most situations. Oberon and Nekros are still incompatible. Uncooperative teammates can still hurt Oberon's limited energy pool far too easily.

Status, knockdown, and quick thinking stagger immunity is worthless.

I said terrible, not worthless. Status immunity and minor CC are the only things going for it, aside from the co-dependent nature of Renewal and Reckoning. In most cases, the status immunity either doesn't make much of a difference, or can't be utilized without constantly recasting due to having to move around.
