Edit - Ok i admit that straight up delete is of course dumb idea, but what about a little rework or buffing AI to make it more bearable? - Edit Whenever i do defection alert, players are already leaving when they realize that its this mode and on top of that when i decide to finish its bugged more often then its not, these squads can literally glitch in every thinkable way, forcing even me to leave. Iam really done with that mode lol, wont play it even for 50p reward and iam deadly serious. And also its time to prefer Harrow over Equinox with buying through coupon.. The mode is awful, and relies on the AI of Defectors, but DE won't remove it just because most people don't like it. Just think about it, AI is like the weakest side of Warframe, because you dont need AI, you are here to slaughter thousands of moving bodies, so i dont blame them. I have only 2 hours in it so i cant really judge. But i was winning against mr24s when i was like mr5, i loved that mods or weapons are somehow scaled there or not important. i thought my fps competitive backround wont help me there and i would be slaughtered like nothing with better equipped players, but for my surpise it wasnt the case at all. And my even more likely unpopular opinion; defection>interception. I hate interception so much, if I could choose a mission type to get the axe, it would be interception all the way. It also can be a deciding factor if I am going to do the day's Sortie or not. This is largely due to the time it takes and relative pace of it. Also, farming Harrow definitely took a lot of starch out of the mission as I had to run it a bunch of times, but less than many, and had to do it solo since I missed the big Harrow rush by a couple of weeks. Instead it was a complete ghost town of a mission. I don't mind the mission existing. As it stands Warframe can benefit from more mission variety. Even if I don't like a mission type, there is probably someone out there that does. As long the mission type is completely garbage (which I don't think Defection is so long as the refugees keep moving) I got no problem playing is a couple of times to break up my usually choice of missions. Its really nice. I can create this kind of thread without getting responses like - stop crying jesus - Or ask about my rivens if they are good without getting responses like - You should know already worth of rivens with your mastery, stop playing - I play a ton of Overwatch so its really nice break from that toxic madness.
