"Sanctuary" shown on Devstream 113

Hey Hey,

so the question is simple - Is there any information about this "Sanctuary" ? Like something said on previous devstreams or here on forums?Or any other source of information?Or there is nothing?

I am kinda very curious about it .

But what if it's the Simulacrum...? People have long requested the ability to get there faster.

'Sanctuary' is currently used by Simaris to refer to his digital landscape in which he stores all the creatures we scan for him and also where he hosts the Onslaught and Simulacrum.  It may be a map location to speed up access to those locations (without going to relay first) but we can already access Onslaught from the Alerts lists.  It may also be left over from dev testing of Onslaught and not something they intend to bring to the public build.

I'm very hopefull that it's not a placeholder, makes sense that the new frame has placeholder animations, but why would they ever put a fake area on the starchart ?

Crazy lore theory : it's the void distortion (or whatever it is) from where the sentients came back during the old war. Considering how the orokin build things, it would not be surprising that a border post would be made a sanctuary for them.

That could be at first a new region, like the kuva fortress, for the new war. And that would after become the junction to the Tau system.

 

You can always hope, but as usual DE will do something no one expected so yeah

It was shown on Devstream #108 as "Dark Sector" and [PH] Void onslaught - it is simply the Sanctuary Onslaught we already have in the game, but on a different place in the dev build, guys this is nothing new.
