AI especially, some of the precepts are a bit lacking and in all honesty we kind of need an 'attack loadout' for them now we have the elemental damage mods etc. Sheldon was looking at this but from what I've seen so far the best we're likely to get is quick loading from the arsenal and the one single new kavat.... sure he was going on about more than one in the devstream and some changes to the AI etc.... Will they get a Boost? Melee weapons get their base damage increased because you will no longer have a 4x combo multiplier and guaranteed redcrits on every attack. If anything they get weaker overall. Pets have no interaction with the combo multiplier, so their damage is thankfully not getting reduced. Ya mean horn dogging the combo by using gimmick'd numbers to deal such tremendous numbers making it all to easy once you get the combo counter up to deal godly damage? Meh. Meh. More like racking up the combo counter to allow melee weapons to deal damage comparable to primary and secondary weapons... The problem is, if they nerf it too much, people will just stick to shooty weapons for anything past the starchart, while keeping kronen prime as a fashion frame attachment. Melee weapons already require more work than well-modded primaries and secondaries to start dealing damage and require you to get closer to enemies, but somewhat compensate for it with bigger aoe (and that is only on certain weapons with range modifiers, some melee weapons are straight up garbage regardless of anything).
