Please feel free to post any ideas, feedback, thoughts, or questions you have about Guen.

And if you like this warframe idea, be sure to tell your friends and leave a like at the bottom of the post, thanks!

For DE:

Spoiler

If you decide to make this frame, or something like it, here is some information that may be useful:

Spoiler

1) There are older versions of this post saved at the bottom of page #6, and even older versions saved at the top of page #4. Some of the saves in page #4 are almost identical to one another, but there may still be some good ideas to work with in there.

2) Although I have created a sequel to Guen (Ferro, The Robotic Warframe), please don’t let that sway you. I really only made Ferro for fun. There's plenty of wiggle room in Guen's lore for you to cut Ferro out completely. Not that you would adapt Guen's story exactly (if at all), but still, just in case I made sure to keep it flexible.

3) I don’t know what all the rules are on plagiarism/ copyright, but I will say that this frame is yours to do whatever you wish. I made this frame to be in the game after all. Not based on what I wanted to see in the game, but rather what I thought would fit best into the Warframe universe and its gameplay.

4) If you are concerned about using the art of Guen in-game, don't be. I have asked all of the artists for Guen to also post their art in the "Featured Prime Time Display Images [OFFICIAL THREAD]" because in that thread it says: "By posting your images in this thread you grant us, Digital Extremes, permission to use your art in-game". This means you, DE, have the right to use any piece of art featured on this thread. If you would like to verify this, simply visit the 31st page of the prime time thread, here is a link for your convenience.

Here’s my new warframe idea:

“This is Guen, Queen of Kuva. Guen utilizes her Kuva essence to maintain dominance over the battlefield.” (Lotus)

-->Things you should know about Guen:

Spoiler

-jnB3ktp.jpg Health cost:

What you need to know:

Guen manipulates her own health in order to supplement her abilities.

Some of Guen's abilities will drain a percentage of her health, but once an ability has run its course, the health you spent on it will be refunded automatically. To make up for this, Guen uses up less energy than normal on each of her abilities. This means you have basically all the energy you need wherever you go, but if you spam your abilities you’re gonna end up killing yourself.

With the addition of strength mods (Example: Intensify) Guen is capable of healing, and even Overhealing, just by claiming ability refunds [(see "{Passive #2} 'Overhealth'" for more info)].

More info:

Spoiler

•Every time you spend health on an ability, a number will appear on the bottom right of your screen, above its corresponding symbol. This number represents the percent of your max health that you currently have invested in that ability. Meaning if I use “Cumulus Kuva” and only hit one enemy, there will be “3%” above the “Cumulus Kuva” symbol. As abilities are activated and refunded, this percentage will go up and down, but if an ability has been completely refunded, it will remain blank above the corresponding symbol until the next time Guen spends health on that ability.

•If you’re ever in serious danger of dying, and you still have some abilities active, you can choose to manually deactivate them and claim the refund. This would cause Guen to call back all of the Kuva you spent on that ability. Simply hold the ability activation button on any of her abilities to deactivate it, which would refund all of the health you spent on that particular ability.

•To prevent people from spamming Guen's deactivation feature and becoming invincible, deactivation has a cooldown of about 8 seconds for each ability.

•Mods that influence energy efficiency (Example: Streamline) will still affect Guen’s energy consumption, but these mods will have no effect on her abilities’ health consumption.

({This health cost idea was created with the help of “chris1pat8twins”, and developed with the help of “Steel_Rook”})

-Xa8G5nN.jpg Status effects:

What you need to know:

Guen gains status effects through valence fusion.

Guen can have any status effect, but only one at a time, and Guen can only obtain a status effect through valence fusion. This means that, if you have a Kuva weapon, you can fuse that weapon with Guen, then Guen will receive that weapon's status effect. She is technically a Kuva weapon after all.

More info:

Spoiler

•If you create a Kuva Lich using Guen, then the corresponding Kuva weapon will have the same type of bonus damage that Guen possesses at the time. (In other words, the type of status effect that Guen receives through valence fusion will transfer to any Kuva Lich she creates.) However, if Guen has not performed valence fusion, then her Kuva Lich's bonus damage will simply default to Impact damage.

•Guen can perform valence fusion using any Kuva weapon, and she can perform valence fusion an unlimited number of times. However, the status effect percentage does not stack for Guen like it does with normal Kuva weapons. Instead, Guen's status effect percentage will always match that of her most recent valence fusion.

•Guen will not have status effects in any of her abilities unless valence fusion is performed. Her abilities will still do damage without it, just not as much.

({This valence fusion idea was developed with the help of “Novashank”})

-|NgsEet4.png| Ability #1“Cumulus Kuva”:

Energy cost (Per ability activation): 18 energy

Health cost (Per enemy affected): 3% (of Guen’s max health)

Guen shoots a small Kuva Cloud projectile forward, affecting small groups of up to about 3-5 enemies without the use of range mods.

Shooting an enemy with a Kuva Cloud disorients/ stuns it for a short time while also inflicting a status effect upon it (status effect determined by valence fusion [(see "Things you should know about Guen" for more info)]).

More info:

Spoiler

•If an enemy is hit by 2 or more different Kuva Clouds, then the damage dealt upon that enemy will stack (Just to be clear: Activating "Cumulus Kuva" once= 1 Kuva Cloud, Activating "Cumulus Kuva" twice= 2 different Kuva Clouds).

•Holding the ability activation button for "Cumulus Kuva" will deactivate this ability.

(Once this ability has either run its course or been deactivated, the health you spent on casting this ability will be refunded)

ABILITY SYNERGY:

-Ability #2, "Flood":

•If an enemy is standing within a Kuva Puddle, the damage & duration of "Cumulus Kuva" on that enemy will be increased.

-Ability #4, "Reprisal":

•Holding the activation button for "Reprisal" will deactivate all active abilities (including "Cumulus Kuva").

-{Passive #1} "Death Evasion":

•If Guen ever runs out of health, so long as some of her abilities (such as "Cumulus Kuva") are still active, she won’t bleed out. Instead, the Kuva from her active abilities will rush there to replenish her health.

-{Passive #2} "Overhealth":

•Guen is capable of healing, and even Overhealing, just by claiming ability refunds.

-{Passive #3} "Guen's Kuva Thralls":

•Shooting one of Guen's Kuva Thralls with a Kuva Cloud will temporarily buff its damage.

•Guen's Kuva Thralls will always prioritize enemies that are being affected by Guen's “Cumulus Kuva” ability. The more Kuva Clouds cast on a single enemy, the more likely a Kuva Thrall is to target it.

-Augment Mod #1:

Spoiler

a1XHIMA.jpg "Curative Kuva" (Cumulus Kuva Augment):

Ability activation limit5 Kuva Clouds (Guen can have no more than 5 Kuva Clouds actively searching for their target at the same time)

Energy cost (Per ability activation): 0 energy

Health cost (Per ally affected): 9% (of Guen’s max health) [Non-refundable]

Guen's "Cumulus Kuva" ability cannot damage/ affect enemies when using this Augment Mod. Instead, Guen's Kuva Clouds will seek out the nearest ally, no matter how far, and heal that ally by 9% of Guen's max health.

More info:

Spoiler

•This Augment Mod has infinite range, so you can heal your allies from almost anywhere, but if your allies are too far away they may die before the Kuva Cloud gets to them.

•Guen can heal any type of ally with this Augment Mod, but long-distance healing will always prioritize fellow warframes above all other secondary allies. In order to heal a non-warframe ally with this ability, you would need to be within a few meters of said ally.

•Guen cannot receive any refunds from this ability while Curative Kuva is applied to it.

•This ability does not cost any energy when using this Augment Mod.

•The movement speed of the Kuva Clouds are affected by sprint speed mods.

•Ability strength does nothing to this ability when using this Augment Mod.

•Ability efficiency does nothing to this ability when using this Augment Mod.

•Holding the ability activation button for "Cumulus Kuva" will deactivate this ability. (This means that any Kuva Clouds which are still seeking their target will be deactivated, but there will be no refund because Guen's health does not get depleted until a Kuva Cloud actually reaches its target.)

augment synergy:

-Ability #2, "Flood": (N/A when using this augment)

-Ability #4, "Reprisal":

•Holding the activation button for "Reprisal" will deactivate all active abilities (including "Cumulus Kuva").

-{Passive #1} "Death Evasion": (N/A when using this augment)

-{Passive #2} "Overhealth":

•If affected allies already have near full health, then the access health will be added on as Overhealth instead.

-{Passive #3} "Guen's Kuva Thralls":

•Guen's Kuva Thralls count as allies. This means Guen can use her "Curative Kuva" to heal her Kuva Thralls. It also means that she can use her "Curative Kuva" to grant her Kuva Thralls with Overhealth. Although, long-distance healing will always prioritize fellow warframes above all other secondary allies. In order to heal a Kuva Thrall with this ability, you would need to be within a few meters of said Kuva Thrall.

-|EcLAHub.png| Ability #2, “Flood”:

Ability activation limit4 Kuva Puddles (Guen can have no more than 4 Kuva Puddles active at the same time)

Energy cost (Per ability activation): 36 energy

Health cost (Per ability activation): 6% (of Guen’s max health)

Health cost (Per enemy affected): 1% (of Guen’s max health)

Guen emits a flood of Kuva in every direction, violently knocking back any enemies within its radius while also inflicting a status effect upon them (status effect determined by valence fusion [(see "Things you should know about Guen" for more info)]).

After this flood dissipates it will temporarily leave behind a large Kuva Puddle. This Kuva Puddle will continue to inflict status damage upon each enemy that sets foot within its radius.

More info:

Spoiler

•Any enemies who step onto a Kuva Puddle will be pulled slowly toward the center of the Kuva Puddle. Most enemies will be capable of escaping, but some will find escape quite difficult.

•If you attempt to place more than the max number of Kuva Puddles nothing will happen. Before placing additional Kuva Puddles, you would either need to manually deactivate them, or wait for one of them to deactivate on its own. Similar abilities in the game, such as Frost's "Snow Globe" ability, will deactivate the oldest one whenever there are too many, but this is not the case with Guen's Kuva Puddles. The reason for this is to prevent players from bypassing the deactivation cooldown.

•Holding the ability activation button for "Flood" will deactivate this ability.

(Once this ability has either run its course or been deactivated, the health you spent on casting this ability will be refunded)

({This ability was developed with the help of “Steel_Rook”})

ABILITY SYNERGY:

-All:

•If an enemy is standing within a Kuva Puddle, the damage & duration of other abilities on that enemy will be increased.

-Ability #3, "Health Siphon":

•If Guen is standing in one of her Kuva Puddles when “Health Siphon” is activated, then she will receive additional health from "Health Siphon".

-Ability #4, "Reprisal":

•Holding the activation button for "Reprisal" will deactivate all active abilities (including "Flood").

-{Passive #1} "Death Evasion":

•If Guen ever runs out of health, so long as some of her abilities (such as "Flood") are still active, she won’t bleed out. Instead, the Kuva from her active abilities will rush there to replenish her health.

-{Passive #2} "Overhealth":

•Guen is capable of healing, and even Overhealing, just by claiming ability refunds.

-Augment Mod #2:

Spoiler

owlRW9K.jpg "Kuva Pool" (Flood Augment):

Ability activation limit: 2 Kuva Puddle (Guen can only have 2 Kuva Puddle active at a time when using this augment)

Ability stacking limit(Guen can stack her Kuva Puddles on top of one another up to 5 times when using this augment)

Energy cost (Per ability activation): 36 energy

Health cost (Per ability activation): 6% (of Guen’s max health)

Health cost (Per enemy affected): 1% (of Guen’s max health)

Guen is now able to stack her Kuva Puddles on top of one another. Stacking a Kuva Puddle will not only add to the life span of that Kuva Puddle, but it will also increase its damage and range.

More info:

Spoiler

•The health stacked onto a Kuva Puddle won't be refunded until the Kuva Puddle as a whole is no longer active.

•Any enemies who step onto a Kuva Puddle will be pulled slowly toward the center of the Kuva Puddle. Most enemies will be capable of escaping, but some will find escape quite difficult. However, by stacking Guen's Kuva Puddles you strengthen their grip on nearby enemies, making escape far more difficult with each stack.

•If you attempt to place more than the max number of Kuva Puddles nothing will happen. Before placing additional Kuva Puddles, you would either need to manually deactivate them, or wait for one of them to deactivate on its own. Similar abilities in the game, such as Frost's "Snow Globe" ability, will deactivate the oldest one automatically whenever there are too many, but this is not the case with Guen's Kuva Puddles. The reason for this is to prevent players from bypassing the deactivation cooldown.

•This Augment Mod can be used to corral enemies and damage them quickly. But even better, this Augment Mod can be used as a health pool, a place to throw all of your health so that, when you claim the refund, your health shoots way up into Overhealth.

•Holding the ability activation button for "Flood" will deactivate this ability.

(Once this ability has either run its course or been deactivated, the health you spent on casting this ability will be refunded)

augment synergy:

-All:

•If an enemy is standing within a Kuva Puddle, the damage & duration of other abilities on that enemy will be increased (This effect does not increase with Kuva Puddle stacking).

-|0leQil4.png| Ability #3, “Health Siphon”:

Energy cost: 54 energy

Health replenished: 8% (of Guen’s max health)

Guen becomes invincible for 3 seconds. During this time she will extract Kuva Clouds from her surroundings and absorb them as health, at the cost of energy.

Every time “Health Siphon” is activated Guen will send out a healing pulse. Any allies within range of this pulse will heal by half of what Guen healed.

More info:

Spoiler

•If Guen already has near full health when “Health Siphon” is activated, then the access health will be added on as Overhealth instead. The same thing goes for any allies affected by Guen's healing pulse. This means that Guen can grant allies with Overhealth by using this ability.

•If Guen has already reached the Overhealth cap, then any additional Overhealth she receives will simply go to waste. The same thing goes for any allies affected by Guen's healing pulse.

•The amount of health Guen gains from this ability scales up with ability strength.

•This ability has a cooldown of about 4 seconds. This is to prevent people from becoming invincible by pairing it with mods like Hunters Adrenaline.

•Holding the ability activation button for "Health Siphon" does nothing.

ABILITY SYNERGY:

-Ability #2, "Flood":

•If Guen is standing in one of her Kuva Puddles when “Health Siphon” is activated, then she will receive additional health from "Health Siphon".

-{Passive #2} "Overhealth":

•If Guen already has near full health when “Health Siphon” is activated, then the access health will be added on as Overhealth instead. The same thing goes for any allies affected by Guen's healing pulse.

-{Passive #3} "Guen's Kuva Thralls":

•Guen's Kuva Thralls count as allies. This means Guen can use her "Health Siphon" ability to heal her Kuva Thralls. It also means that she can use her "Health Siphon" ability to grant her Kuva Thralls with Overhealth.

-Augment Mod #3:

Spoiler

2XX5ma7.jpg "Energy Siphon" (Health Siphon Augment):

Health cost: 8% (of Guen’s max health) [Non-refundable]

Energy replenished: 54 energy

Instead of absorbing Kuva Clouds as health (at the cost of energy), Guen will absorb them as energy (at the cost of health).

Every time “Health Energy Siphon” is activated Guen will send out an energizing pulse. Any allies within range of this pulse will receive energy equal to half of what Guen received.

More info:

Spoiler

•If Guen already has near full energy when “Health Energy Siphon” is activated, then the access energy will simply go to waste. The same thing goes for any allies affected by Guen's energizing pulse.

•The amount of energy Guen gains from this ability scales up with ability strength.

•This ability has a cooldown of about 4 seconds.

•Holding the ability activation button for "Health Energy Siphon" does nothing.

augment synergy:

-|ngByVoT.png| Ability #4, “Reprisal”:

Energy cost: 0 energy

Health cost (Per ability activation): *varies* [Non-refundable]

Activating Guen's "Reprisal" ability will cause Guen to refund all health spent on active abilities. She will then send out all of the refunded health as damage on nearby enemies.

More info:

Spoiler

•The damage dealt by this ability scales up with ability strength.

({This ability was developed with the help of “Novashank”})

ABILITY SYNERGY:

-All:

•Holding the activation button for "Reprisal" will deactivate all active abilities.

-Ability #2, "Flood":

•If an enemy is standing within a Kuva Puddle, the damage "Reprisal" deals on that enemy will be increased.

-Augment Mod #4:

Spoiler

7otJZA8.jpg "Blood Wake" (Reprisal Augment):

Energy cost: 0 energy

Health cost (Per ability activation): *varies* [Non-refundable]

Enemies killed by this ability will now leave behind a Kuva Puddle.

More info:

Spoiler

•The damage dealt by this ability scales up with ability strength. This also applies to the Kuva Puddles created using this Augment Mod.

•Any time an enemy steps within a "Blood Wake" Kuva Puddle, that enemy will be pulled to its center instantly and will remain trapped there until the Kuva Puddle is no longer active (unless the enemy dies before then). Unfortunately "Blood Wake" Kuva Puddles can only trap one or two enemies at a time.

•The Kuva Puddles created using this Augment Mod will not cost additional health per enemy affected, therefore offering no refund when deactivated.

•The Kuva Puddles created using this Augment Mod are not affected by range mods.

•The Kuva Puddles created using this Augment Mod are affected by duration mods.

•Holding the ability activation button for "Reprisal" will deactivate this ability (this really only applies to the "Blood Wake" Kuva Puddles, and deactivating those don't give you a health refund).

({This augment mod was created with the help of “Novashank”})

augment synergy:

-All:

•Holding the activation button for "Reprisal" will deactivate all active abilities.

•If an enemy is standing within one of this Augment Mod's Kuva Puddles, the damage & duration of other abilities on that enemy will be increased.

-Ability #2, "Flood":

•If an enemy is already standing within a Kuva Puddle, the damage "Reprisal" deals on that enemy will be increased.

-Ability #3, "Health Siphon":

•If Guen is standing in one of this Augment Mod's Kuva Puddles when “Health Siphon” is activated, then she will receive additional health from "Health Siphon".

-|0lTemW5.jpg| Passive:

-{Passive #1} "Death Evasion":

If Guen ever runs out of health, so long as some of her abilities are still active, she won’t bleed out. Instead, the Kuva from her active abilities will rush there to replenish her health. When this happens, her health will increase to the amount of health she had spent on her active abilities.

More info:

Spoiler

•The health Guen salvages from her abilities through “Death Evasion” will not scale up with ability strength.

•After “Death Evasion” has been activated, Guen will be given temporary health regeneration and a moderately long grace period (All of Guen’s abilities will be locked for the duration of this grace period).

•Once Guen's “Death Evasion” passive ability is used, it cannot be used again until Guen’s health has been fully regenerated.

({This passive was created with the help of “Velitria”, and developed with the help of “Steel_Rook”})

Passive Synergy:

-Ability #1, "Cumulus Kuva" & -Ability #2, "Flood":

•If Guen ever runs out of health, so long as some of her abilities are still active, she won’t bleed out. Instead, the Kuva from her active abilities will rush there to replenish her health.

-{Passive #2} "Overhealth":

Overhealth cap: 2400

Guen can potentially Overheal any time one of her abilities are refunded.

Guen can also use her "Health Siphon" ability to grant both herself, as well as her allies, with Overhealth.

More info:

Spoiler

•Without the use of mods, Guen can Overheal by first healing from external sources, then claiming the refund on her abilities. With nowhere else to go, the access health will simply be added onto her existing health in the form of Overhealth.

•With the addition of strength mods (Example: Intensify) Guen is capable of healing, and even Overhealing, just by claiming ability refunds. At 100% ability strength, ability refunds give her exactly as much as she invested. But at 130% ability strength, ability refunds give her 30% more health than she invested (Additional refunded health caps at +200%). This means that, if she has low health she can use her ability refund to save herself and heal back to a more comfortable level, and If she already has near max health she can use the refund to really boost her health over the top in the form of Overhealth.

•If Guen has already reached the Overhealth cap, then any additional Overhealth she receives will simply go to waste. The same thing goes for any allies who Guen provides with Overhealth.

•Whenever Guen has Overhealth her health bar turns orange. Everything else about Overhealth is basically the same as Overshields.

({This passive was created with the help of “Steel_Rook”})

Passive Synergy:

-Ability #1, "Cumulus Kuva" & -Ability #2, "Flood":

•Guen is capable of healing, and even Overhealing, just by claiming ability refunds.

-Ability #3, "Health Siphon":

•If Guen already has near full health when “Health Siphon” is activated, then the access health will be added on as Overhealth instead. The same thing goes for any allies affected by Guen's healing pulse.

-{Passive #3} "Guen's Kuva Thralls":

Kuva Thrall limit: 3 Kuva Thralls (Guen can have no more than 3 Kuva Thralls at the same time)

Health cost (Per Kuva Thrall): 0% (of Guen’s max health)

Every 45 seconds a nearby enemy will be converted into one of Guen's Kuva Thralls.

More info:

Spoiler

•When an enemy is converted into a Kuva Thrall it will receive a minor armor buff.

•Guen can choose to kill one of her Kuva Thralls using her Parazon, doing this will not benefit Guen in any way. This feature only serves as a way of dismissing unwanted Kuva Thralls, nothing more.

•Guen's Kuva Thralls have a bright orange outline around them, unlike a Lich's Kuva Thralls which have a blue outline around them. This will prevent confusion for anyone that uses Guen in a Kuva Lich mission.

•Whenever the Operator exits Guen, all of Guen's Kuva Thralls will remain frozen and invincible until the Operator reenters Guen.

•If Guen's "Death Evasion" passive is activated, her Kuva Thralls won't save her. They don't count as active abilities, and therefore cannot be refunded. If Guen is downed, and the only thing active is a Kuva Thrall, then she will die, and so will her Kuva Thralls.

Passive Synergy:

-Ability #1, "Cumulus Kuva":

•Shooting one of Guen's Kuva Thralls with a Kuva Cloud will temporarily buff its damage.

•Guen's Kuva Thralls will always prioritize enemies that are being affected by Guen's “Cumulus Kuva” ability. The more Kuva Clouds cast on a single enemy, the more likely a Kuva Thrall is to target it.

-Ability #3, "Health Siphon":

•Guen's Kuva Thralls count as allies. This means Guen can use her "Health Siphon" ability to heal her Kuva Thralls. It also means that she can use her "Health Siphon" ability to grant her Kuva Thralls with Overhealth.

•While the Operator is within Guen, Guen's eye color (and her Kuva Thralls' eye colors) will match that of the Operator. Whenever you exit Guen, the color of her eyes (and her Kuva Thralls' eyes) will turn gray; absent and hallow, drained of all their vibrance and life. This symbolizes Guen's lack of individuality/ personality, as well as her reliance on the Tenno.

•The Primed version of Guen isn't actually called "Guen Prime", instead it's called "Guen Preme" ("Preme" is short for "Supreme"). Basically, Guen can't possibly have a Primed variant; the timing is completely off and her lore simply doesn't allow it. For this reason, Guen doesn't have a "Primed" variant, instead she has a "Premed" variant. Preme frames are not quite as good as Prime frames, but they are still an improvement from their standard versions. However, unlike Prime frames, Preme frames do not receive energy when coming into contact with an Orokin Void Death Orb. But who knows, maybe they can do something else, something unique only to Preme frames. (How Preme frames are created is currently unknown)

•Guen Preme is actually a specific sub-type of Preme frame: "A Mutalist Preme Warframe". In theory, there can be up to 2, maybe even 3 other types of Preme frames, but as of right now the only type of Preme frame is the Mutalist Preme frame. (Other types of Preme frames may include: A Mutalist Preme frame created from a living organism, and a standard Preme frame created from a living organism)

•Similar to Kuva weapons, this frame’s max rank caps at 40 after 5 polarizations (max rank increases by 2 per forma added).

•If you create a Kuva Lich using Guen, then the corresponding Kuva weapon will have the same type of bonus damage that Guen possesses at the time. (In other words, the type of status effect that Guen receives through valence fusion will transfer to any Kuva Lich she creates.) However, if Guen has not performed valence fusion, then her Kuva Lich's bonus damage will simply default to Impact damage [(see "Things you should know about Guen" for more info)].

-Lore/ Backstory:

Spoiler

Kuva; unpredictable, dangerous, and mysterious. The Worm Queen just so happens to have an abundance of that very resource. The Elder Queen’s body may have died, but the Worm Queen knew that was not the end.

(I know that for some people the Elder Queen was left alive, but either way, the result remains the same. Because if the Elder Queen can be revived after death, then of course she can be revived before death.)

Death cannot truly come to the Elder Queen, because whenever the Elder Queen performs "Continuity" she uses a special Kuva called "Purple Kuva" (If you want to know more about "Continuity" & "Purple Kuva" just keep reading, you're in the right place).

The Elder Queen has had many bodies, she has seen the world through many pairs of eyes, and this was no different. After cheating death so many times already, it is unlikely that death will ever find her, even if she accepted it with open arms. The Elder Queen has been condemned to eternal existence, she just doesn’t know it yet.

Lucky for the Elder Queen, her sister (the Worm Queen) knew something that most others did not. She knew that even though the Elder Queen was dead she could be brought back. They call it “Continuity”, the process of using Kuva to transfer one consciousness into another.

The Worm Queen began to lay out a plan, a plan that would not only bring back the Elder Queen but effectively immortalize her for all of eternity. Using her vast Kuva reserve and Grineer servants, the Worm Queen began to design and construct her very own warframe, a vessel untouchable by age and unafraid of death.

But she couldn't do it alone. She could only think of a select few that were up to the task. Luckily a number of these select few were already working for her, one of which a Grineer doctor named Dr. Tengus (Dr. Tengus created the Grineer Ghouls). The Worm Queen had more than enough brilliant minds at her disposal, and so she decided to try and make do with that for now. She hoped that they would succeed so that she didn't have to go find outside help.

Dr. Tengus, the Worm Queen, and a few other Grineer scientists worked very closely in attempting to find, not a solution, but the solution to the Elder Queen’s ailments. The Worm Queen took care of all the necessary expenses. A private lab, lab assistants, and any other resources they may require. They worked day and night with little rest, well, not the Worm Queen, she simply came and went as she pleased. They worked and worked but got few results. Eventually, the Worm Queen realized that they were making little progress, and so desperate measures needed to be taken.

Alad V…

Alad V once studied the infested in a search for some success in his swiftly declining career. While unsuccessful in that regard, he was able to develop a strain of infested called the Mutalist strain. This strain of infested has the ability to infect inorganic beings. This is exactly what they were missing.

With a combination of threats and bribery, the Worm Queen was able to convince Alad V to lend his expertise.

While Alad V did eventually help the Worm Queen in the search for a new body for the Elder Queen, his disgust for the Grineer made it nearly impossible for him to work alongside them. But he persevered because he knew that cooperating would provide him with all the information he would need to recreate the experiment for himself.

After several tests on small droplets of Kuva, Alad V theorized that they may be able to create a warframe by applying a mixture of Mutalist and Helminth infestations to an inanimate object, and he was right, but he learned the hard way just how important it was to get the proportions right.

Why Helminth + Mutalist + Inorganic material = A warframe with no emotion or independent thought:

Spoiler

A Helminth strain: Operates independently and can be used to create warframes, but it cannot bind to inorganic material and its thoughts and behavior are difficult to suppress/ control effectively.

A Mutalist strain: Operates as a hive and cannot be used to create warframes, but it can bind to any material, organic or not. A Mutalist strain's behavior is also quite difficult to suppress/ control.

A Helminth strain combined with a Mutalist strain (With the correct proportions): The Helminth strain would bind to the organic matter found within the Mutalist infestation itself. The Helminth infested strain would then overtake the Mutalist infested strain, cutting it off from its hive. Also, by binding to the Mutalist strain, the Helminth strain is now able to bind to inorganic material, but since the Helminth strain is binding to inorganic matter, it is left without a personality to adopt as its own. Resulting in a completely emotionless warframe.

He began by testing his theory on a small sample of Kuva, but he used too much Mutalist infestation in the solution. Even though it was just a small sample, it became so violent it nearly ripped Alad V's head off right away. It was even more violent than any infested creature Alad V has seen so far. It's a miracle he was able to get out alive. In the end, they were able to contain and kill the creature. The Worm Queen also set up several safety precautions in preparation for the next experiment.

In Alad V's second test he fully expected to be eaten alive, but he didn't use enough Mutalist infestation in the solution this time. The sample just moved slightly, and instantly fell apart.

That was when Alad V realized; Too much Mutalist=violent, Not enough Mutalist=weak (this effect is specific to when it is used on an inanimate object). It took only 4 more tests before Alad V was able to perfect the Mutalist to Helminth Ratio. Sample #6, not too weak and not too aggressive, neutral in every sense of the word. Both a shell and a weapon, without any thoughts or feelings of its own. The perfect qualities for the Elder Queen's new body. Sample #6 is what paved the way for sample #7, later known as Guen.

Eventually, with a combination of Mutalist and Helminth infested strains, they were able to apply that mixture of disease to Kuva and create Guen. A whole new breed of warframe, one that was never alive to begin with.

However, there was one flaw. While it was nearly invincible, it was still young and could not hold its shape for more than a few minutes. For this reason, a shell was created to brace the Kuva and maintain its shape. The shell also serves as a way to more effectively weaponize the Kuva within.

(You may be wondering how the Worm Queen would be able to create the Helminth strain of infested. Well, the Grineer Queens were once Orokin. The Worm Queen has overheard bits and pieces of the warframe building process from Ballis’ conversations with Silvana, which turned out to be all the information the Worm Queen needed to develop her own Helminth strain, with the help of her Grineer scientists of course.)

Although they were making progress, Alad V was still opposed to the Grineer Queens having such a powerful weapon. This is why Alad V kept tabs on where each of the blueprints were hidden.

When Alad V finally got the chance he contacted the Tenno, explained what was happening, and revealed where all of Guen's blueprints were hidden as payment for his protection. Although Alad V didn’t like the Tenno very much, right now they were the lesser evil, and it was in his best interest to make sure the Elder Queen stays dead. Also, he was almost certain that as soon as the Worm Queen finally got what she wanted, she would have him executed, so he didn't exactly have a choice. Unfortunately, Alad V had no idea that the Elder Queen was already being resurrected.

When the Worm Queen finally produced a viable replacement for the Elder Queen’s current body she wasted no time in presenting it to her, but then she remembered that the Elder Queen was still dead. The Worm Queen quickly got to work on transferring the Elder Queen's consciousness so that she could see what a great job the Worm Queen had done in making her new body.

But this was no typical transfer. Sure, the Worm Queen could have just used Red (Crimson) Kuva, but the Queens were far too clever for that. They knew better than to make the obvious choice. There was the choice between Blue Kuva (which is temporary) and Red Kuva (which is permanent), but the Queens decided long ago to make a third choice for themselves. By mixing Red Kuva with Blue Kuva the Queens were able to create Purple Kuva; extremely powerful, extremely rare, and extremely unstable. Purple Kuva begins to deteriorate as soon as it is made, and it does so even more quickly than an Argon Crystal. For this reason, most Orokin did not tamper with Purple Kuva, for if used incorrectly bad things happen. The first time an Orokin scientist experimented with Purple Kuva he died instantly with seemingly no hope of revival. This terrified the Orokin to no end. Since then the Orokin instituted a strict ban on Purple Kuva for fear of mortality, ironically the Orokin were overthrown and exterminated shortly after. Somehow the Queens managed to concoct their own Purple Kuva mixture (shout out to all the Grineer volunteers they killed in the process), and since the Orokin were long gone, there was nothing stopping them.

Sure, when done incorrectly the consequences are quite extreme, but the Queens did not see consequence, they saw opportunity, for when used correctly the results are quite impressive. Purple Kuva can transfer an Orokin consciousness into another body permanently, just like Red Kuva. But, unlike Red Kuva, if the Orokin dies while within its new body, its soul and consciousness will be preserved and returned to its previous body, where they will remain until they are provided with another vessel.

When the Elder Queen finally came to in her new skin, she was disoriented and confused at first. The Elder Queen saw that the Worm Queen seemed really excited about something, but she didn't know what, and frankly she didn’t care at the time.

It took a little while for the Elder Queen to finally understand what was happening, but once she did there was no stopping her. The Elder Queen knew that this discovery would change EVERYTHING, and now nothing could stand in her way, not even the Tenno.

The Elder Queen then attempts to say something. Odds are she was going to say something like, "You've done well... worm", which probably would have made the Worm Queen very happy, despite the backhanded nature of the compliment. But when the Elder Queen tries to speak, nothing happens. "Umm, we can fix that..." Says the Worm Queen.

There was an adjustment period for the Elder Queen. Being dead for so long took its toll. She had to learn how to walk again, and it didn’t come easy. It made her furious not being able to do something so simple, each stumble made her livid with rage. And the inability to speak only made conditions even worse for her. But once she finally got her bearings the Elder Queen got right to work on harnessing her newfound abilities. Still, the Elder Queen never forgave the Worm Queen for failing to provide her with a mouth, and the Worm Queen never did get around to fixing her mistake.

Even though the Worm Queen had already fulfilled her primary objective, which was to revive the Elder Queen, the Worm Queen will continue to collect Kuva. She never stops collecting Kuva because she keeps thinking of new ways to use it to her advantage. The Worm Queen has no shortage of ideas, and she’s already begun to make some of those ideas a reality.

-{Acquisition #3} Quest, "The Kuva Queen":

After having successfully completed 3 Kuva Flood missions, you will get a new quest called “The Kuva Queen”. Completing this Quest will reward you with Guen's main blueprint and 15,000 Kuva.

More info:

Spoiler

•After accepting this quest you will get a message from Alad V, who is now reluctantly working for the Worm Queen to help build an extremely dangerous weapon. He whispers his message so he isn’t overheard. He says that we’re all in danger and that if anyone found out about this message he would surely be killed.

•He warns you about Guen and says that if you don’t act fast the consequences of this creation will be catastrophic, except he doesn’t call her “Guen”. In the “Kuva Queen” quest. Guen doesn’t officially get a name until the quest is completed. Instead, any time someone refers to Guen, they say “it” or “the warframe” or “the beast”.

•Anyway, he tells you that luckily the warframe is yet to be built, so there’s still time. He tells you that the Worm Queen has hidden some of the warframe's blueprints in various Grineer bases, but in exchange for their location he wants freedom. He is afraid that as soon the Worm Queen learns of his betrayal he will be executed. He quickly tells you his current location. Then you hear the voice of someone else, and with a fearful voice Alad V responds “Nothing, just talking to myself” and the message cuts off.

(The first 4 quest missions may seem a bit too easy, but the enemies in each of those missions will be pretty high level. So if the mission itself isn’t challenging enough, the enemies will make up for it.)

{Quest mission, 1} (Alad V):

This mission will begin as a rescue mission and end as an extermination mission.

Spoiler

•When you begin this mission, you will be tasked with rescuing Alad V and escorting him to extraction. Once you have rescued Alad V simply exterminate all remaining enemies and extract.

(The reason you need to exterminate all of the enemies after every mission is to make sure that the Worm Queen is never made aware of your plans.)

{Quest mission, 2} (ChassisChassis):

The chassis blueprint mission will begin as a sabotage mission and end as an extermination mission.

More info:

Spoiler

•When you begin the mission, you will be tasked with stealing the chassis blueprint, only the Worm Queen has separated it into 5 fragments for increased security. There will be 5 different markers on the mini-map, each directing you to a different chassis blueprint fragment. Simply find and steal each one, and kill the remaining enemies.

•Once you have completed the Guen chassis mission you will return to your orbiter, where you will destroy the chassis blueprint to make sure that the Grineer Queens never get their hands on it.

(The chassis blueprint's real acquisition is through either of the RNG methods; Kuva Lich farming or Kuva Siphon/ Flood missions.)

{Quest mission, 3} (HelmetNeuroptics):
The neuroptics blueprint mission will begin as a mobile defense mission and end as an extermination mission.

More info:

Spoiler

•When you begin this mission, your objective will be to steal the Guen neuroptics blueprint, only, this blueprint has already been uploaded to several different sources digitally, and such an elaborate blueprint takes time to extract.

•You’ll have to deliver payloads and defend a number of locations while the Lotus extracts all records of the neuroptics blueprint from Grineer servers. Once you have done that, all that will be left to do is eliminate the remaining enemies and head to extraction.

•Once you return to your orbiter you will delete the Guen neuroptics blueprint.

(The neuroptics blueprint's real acquisition is through either of the RNG methods; Kuva Lich farming or Kuva Siphon/ Flood missions.)

{Quest mission, 4} (SystemsSystems):
The systems blueprint mission will begin as a stealth mission and end as an extermination mission. But the stealth portion isn't what you'd expect, it will be more like the mastery rank 9 test.

More info:

Spoiler

•Each enemy will be provided with their own communication systems for increased security. This means that if anyone detects you, they will alert all of the other enemies, as well as their Queen. Meaning not only is the Worm Queen now aware of your plans, but the other enemies have been prompted to hide and secure the blueprint. Making the mission a complete failure.

•So, at the beginning of the mission, before stealing the blueprint, your task will be; Get to their communication controls, hack them, and disable them, all without being seen. Then simply steal the systems blueprint, exterminate the remaining enemies, and head to extraction.

•Once you return to the orbiter you will destroy the Guen systems blueprint.

(The system blueprint's real acquisition is through either of the RNG methods; Kuva Lich farming or Kuva Siphon/ Flood missions.)

{Quest mission, 5} (la3ZVUY.pngBlueprint):
The Guen blueprint mission is just an assassination mission. And, according to Alad V, it is the last mission you’ll need to do in order to neutralize the threat.

More info:

Spoiler

•Alad V will tell you that you have to kill the Worm Queen to steal the final traces of Guen because she keeps the main blueprint on her at all times.

•When you finally get to the Worm Queen she seems caught off guard. She’ll say “Tenno! What are you doing here! How ever did you find me!” Then the Operator will give a powerful speech about justice and whatnot, then once the speech is done, the Operator will fire a shot at the Worm Queen in an attempt to begin the fight, but the blast goes right through her.

•The void blast leaves behind a small flicker in the place where it should have pierced the Worm Queen. “It’s a hologram!” Says the Operator. A brief closeup of the small device projecting it from above is shown, confirming his theory.

•A large evil smile begins to form on her face. “Do you really think I’m that stupid Tenno?!” She says, "All this time you’ve spent plotting behind my back, sabotaging my plans, DESTROYING MY KUVA SIPHONS!! *sigh* (she takes a moment to calm down a bit) Now it’s my turn Tenno."

•"That's right! I knew all along that Alad V would betray me. It was all part of my diabolical plan! Oh, I almost forgot! You may not be able to recognize her at first, but I brought an old friend that just can’t wait to see you, Isn’t that right sis?” That was when Guen, or rather, the Elder Queen, stepped into view. She almost looked as though her blood was being pumped into her from the outside.

•The Elder Queen only stares at the Operator intensely for a moment while gesturing subtly. The Operator remains thoroughly confused. Frustrated, the Elder Queen looks back at the Worm Queen harshly. "Oh! Oops, sorry... I forgot." Says the Worm Queen, finally remembering that the Elder Queen needs a translator because she no longer has a mouth of her own to speak with. "Anyway, she said... *the Worm Queen clears her throat and tries to do her best Elder Queen impression* “Hello Tenno... did you Miss me?”. The Elder Queen glances at the Worm Queen sharply. "I said I'm sorry! I swear I did the best I could with what I had!" Says the Worm Queen. The Elder Queen gestures aggressively. "Yeah, a mouth is one thing, but you have no idea how difficult vocal cords are to make!" The Elder Queen gestures once more dismissively. "Fine, I guess we'll talk about this later then."

•The Operator stares in disbelief as they argue. She must be an imposter he thinks, there's no way that's really her... right? But then he looks into her eyes, her eyes are identical to that of the Elder Queen (A brief flashback of the Elder Queen’s face just before her previous death plays, as a way to fill the player in on what the Operator is thinking) “It's really her...”

•The Operator, filled with shock, fear, and rage knows not what to do. So he simply drops to the floor with defeat. “All of that work, for nothing” he mumbles to himself. He had done everything within his power to bury the Elder Queen for good, yet it wasn’t enough.

•“Awww, look sister. He's sad... oh well, anyway, enough drama.” Says the Worm Queen “The reason I--" The Elder Queen smacks her in the back of the head "Uhh, the reason WE lured you here is... TO WATCH YOU DIE! Muahahahahahaha!” Suddenly the Worm Queen stops laughing and her face hardens as she gazes upon the Operator, still wallowing in his defeat. She stares at him with pure hatred in her eyes, but only for a moment.

•The Worm Queen then violently slams on a button on her end of the hologram. Suddenly all of the doors around him slam shut. The words “SELF DESTRUCT SEQUENCE INITIATED!” blast the Operator’s eardrums from every direction, but he hardly even notices. “Good luck Tenno!” Says the Worm Queen as she chuckles.

•The room around him begins to shake violently, fires start to spread, everything starts to fall apart, and a countdown timer gets displayed on the bottom of the screen, but the Operator remains on the floor with his head down.

•“Operator! Operator!! Please get up! Can’t you see you’re in danger!” Pleads Ordis, but the Operator hardly moves a muscle. As Ordis pleads and pleads the Operator begins to slowly raise his head, and Ordis’ voice slowly fades away until there is nothing left but silence. The Operator looks directly at the Queens with extreme intensity and says, “I will find you”. The Elder Queen Remains unfazed, but the Worm Queen shows a hint of fear for only a moment. Then the Operator quickly shoots the device projecting the hologram, cutting off its signal.

•He then slowly picks himself back up and Ordis’ voice slowly fades back in. “OPERATOR PLEASE!!! OPERA— Oh! thank goodness, for a moment there I was sure I had lost you! I was so worr—” “What’s the plan Ordis” the Operator says bluntly “Oh, yes of course Operator, I found an alternate exit while you were— um... I’ve taken the liberty of marking it on your minimap” “Thanks Ordis”.

•Then just head to extraction before the timer hits zero and you have completed the first Guen blueprint mission.

•When you finally get back to your orbiter it will say “mission success: summary”, then display the quest completion message, only it will say “Quest Incomplete, The Kuva Queen”. It will seem as though you had lost, it will seem as though that were the last mission, but then Ordis will say, “Operator, I am detecting some unusual activity on *so and so planet*” That’s when you will begin the final mission of the “Kuva Queen” quest.

{Quest mission, 6} (la3ZVUY.pngBlueprint, for real this time):
All that you have left to do is track down the Elder Queen in her new form and kick her out of Guen, only she’s super powerful now.

More info:

Spoiler

Defeating the elder Queen in this form will be very similar to defeating a Kuva Lich, but there are a few key differences:

Spoiler

-Unlike Kuva Liches, the Elder Queen is immune to Requiem mods and Parazons. The Elder Queen can only be defeated by using transference on her 3 times (meaning there's no guessing involved). Doing this will loosen the Elder Queen's grip just enough to separate her from Guen.

-The Elder Queen's Kuva Thralls will not provide the player with Requiem Murmurs. However, they do still have a chance of dropping Requiem relics.

-When you go into the Elder Queen's Kuva Lich information menu; weaknesses, resistances, and all other potentially useful information about her will be illegible. It will be full of question marks, scribbles, and all sorts of random symbols where the actual information should be.

-The areas claimed by the Elder Queen will be highlighted orange instead of red, and the Elder Queen's Kuva Thralls will have a dark orange outline around them instead of a blue one. This will prevent confusion for anyone who has a Kuva Lich while completing this quest.

-Unlike Kuva Liches, the Elder Queen cannot be converted... obviously.

Basically everything else about this fight is the same as a Kuva Lich fight:

1) Kill Kuva Thralls to draw her out

2) Once you've drawn her out, lower her health and go for the kill

3) Repeat steps 1 & 2

4) Repeat steps 1 & 2 again

5) Victory!

•Once you have weakened the Elder Queen enough, you’ll be prompted to use transference on her one last time. Once you do, you will transfer into Guen, pushing out the Elder Queen. Unfortunately, the Elder Queen trying her best to resist causes severe damage to Guen during transference, leaving behind nothing but Guen’s main blueprint.

•While the Elder Queen had once again been defeated, this was not the end. Just as the Elder Queen was being forced out of Guen she said something like: “You may have beaten me for now Tenno! But the war has only just begun.” Then she vanished like a ghost.

•Once you have kicked the Elder Queen out of Guen, all that's left to do is grab Guen's blueprint and head to extraction.

•When you get back to your orbiter you’ll be greeted with a proper quest completion message saying “Quest Complete, The Kuva Queen” and a congrats from Ordis. Also, after completing the “Kuva Queen” quest, you will receive a message from Alad V. As an extra thanks he sends you a little something that he stole from the Queens: Kuva64 15,000.

•Then it will just be the Operator and Ordis talking amongst themselves. The Operator proceeds to ask Ordis, “So, what should we name her?”, and Ordis responds, “You want to name it?! But why Operator?! Didn’t it try to kill you?” “No, it didn’t try to kill me, the Queens did, and we have to call it something, we can’t just keep calling it, 'it' all the time.” “Operator, please tell me you’re not thinking of rebuilding that thing, what if it’s a trap?! What if they wanted this to happen?!” “It’s not Ordis, trust me.” “Well, if you must name it, how about; DEVIL!, DEMON SPAWN!, EVIL!, GARBAGE!, NOT TO BE TRUSTED!, Guen... TOILET WATER! MURDERER! GARBA—” “Whoa, back up a little.” “Yes of course Operator; TOILET WATER! MURD—” “No no, before that, Guen, that’s not bad. Yeah, Guen, I like it.” "YUCK! Guen is a STUPID name, whoever came up with that should go DIE! also...”

-Future story:

Spoiler

Once you finally throw the Elder Queen out of Guen, her soul and mind will travel back to her previous corpse. They will remain trapped there until she is provided with a new body. (This is a result of the Purple Kuva [(See "Lore/ Backstory" for more info)])

...Meanwhile, Alad V is putting together his very own warframe. And its name is Ferro, The Robotic Warframe 🤖 (Mutalist frame #2), another frame concept of mine. Here's the link:

https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1223753-ferro-the-robotic-warframe-🤖-mutalist-frame-2/

Long after the discovery of Guen and the defeat of the Elder Queen, the Worm Queen will begin to construct her second Kuva beast, one far more powerful than the last, similar at its core, yet different in every way. Evolved.

The Elder Queen is not in this one. This time the Worm Queen created a weapon that she can control remotely. She wants to get the Tenno out of the way before bringing the Elder Queen back once again.

This Kuva Creation will have mechanical tentacles, metal claws, and other attachments which add to its evil sinister vibe. It will also have pitch-black eyes. Its eyes make it appear much more dead than alive. And this new evil Kuva creation has no name. It will never have a name because this time you don't get to bring it home and name it. Once you have defeated it there will be no blueprints for you to salvage.

This new Kuva weapon is going to be much bigger and stronger than Guen, all of its abilities/ attacks will be completely different, and it will be defeated in a vastly different way. It will be more like a boss than a Lich. This boss will spawn on a new node in the Kuva Fortress, but only while "Guen Preme" is unvaulted.

--> [(If you're wondering why "Guen Prime" is called "Guen Preme" there is a full explanation in the "Notes" tab)] <--

Upon defeating this boss there is a chance that it will drop one of Guen Preme's blueprints. This is the only way of getting Guen Preme's blueprints, unless you trade for them. (This boss is only available while Guen Preme is unvaulted).

After having destroyed the Worm Queen's second fancy Kuva suit, it will be clear that the Worm Queen is far more cunning and dangerous than she appears, and the only way to make this madness stop would be to kill the Worm Queen. But you never get the chance (You can’t because then that would mean the end of Kuva Siphon/ Flood missions).

When you finally build Guen Preme, her appearance will slightly resemble that of the monster you retrieved her blueprints from, but of course, Guen Preme will also slightly resemble Guen, the very first of her kind. Now, although they are similar, that does not make them the same. Here are a few things that set them apart:

1) Guen Preme is mostly light red, unlike Guen, who has more of a deep red color to her.

2) Whenever the Operator exits Guen Preme, the color of her eyes (and her Kuva Thralls' eyes) will turn pitch-black, instead of gray like Guen. This suggests that Guen Preme is even more compliant and emotionless than Guen. Does this mean that the standard Guen has at least some remanence of a soul? Evidence of this has yet to be seen, but maybe... just maybe...

3) Guen Preme has several metallic enhancements. These metallic enhancements have a faint, yet noticeable, tint of gold to them, as well as a much more noticeable tint of silver. Each of these metallic enhancements protrude out of her body in a seemingly random fashion, but something tells me it is not as random as it appears. Whether or not these enhancements will directly impact Guen Preme's gameplay is unknown.

Long after having killed the Worm Queen's second Kuva creature, the Elder Queen will return once again. This time, the body that the Elder Queen resurfaces in will be a bit different from the last. Instead of a new Kuva warframe with which to fight off the Tenno and take over the world, this time, it’s more of a computer-Kuva hybrid.

In this new vessel the Elder Queen will look kind of like Cephalon Simaris, but with some strong identifying features. The Elder Queen will be hooked up to a bunch of big messy wires and huge clunky monitors, all of which are covered in Kuva.

The Operator will be told to fight another evil Kuva creature, under the impression that it is the Elder Queen’s new body. But defeating it comes far too easily and the Operator gets suspicious. As the Operator continues to investigate his suspicions, he eventually learns the truth. The Elder Queen is no longer of one mind, and that creature was no warframe, it was one of the Worm Queen's latest inventions.

The Worm Queen has built for the Elder Queen a cyber-neural command center with which she can remotely control hundreds of her Grineer soldiers simultaneously. In other words, she created an entire army of mindless Kuva infused Grineer which the Elder Queen can control from a distance. These Grineer are far more powerful than regular Grineer, but they’re also a bit dumber, so they miss a lot (The Elder Queen can only focus on so many things at once). They kind of look like Guen's deluxe skin, but in the shape of Grineer, and each one of them have red eyes, almost identical to the Elder Queen's.

You will try to blow up the computer she now resides in, with a little help from Rex (The new Corpus leader, formerly known as "Ferro, The Robotic Warframe 🤖 (Mutalist frame #2)"), but you quickly realize that she can simply transfer her consciousness to a different computer instantly.

She’s a hive mind now, and there appears to be no way of stopping her. But you will never stop trying, because once you get to the Elder Queen, you dismantle her entire army of Grineer puppets, and you leave the Worm Queen completely vulnerable. This would provide you with a chance to end it all for good. The death of the Worm Queen would finally mark the end of one of the Tenno’s biggest threats. But of course, this could never happen. It would only get very close. The Worm Queen will always escape somehow, again and again, always renewing the never-ending cycle. The endless struggle between the Queens, and the Tenno.

Long after the Elder Queen's failed assassination, the Elder Queen began to desire more than power alone, she wanted revenge, and there just so happened to be a way of obtaining both... Rex.

Control Rex = revenge & power.  If the Elder Queen were able to control Rex, not only would she be rid of her most recent enemy, she would also have complete control over the Corpus. And if she played her cards right, maybe she could use the combination of Grineer and Corpus forces to bring down the Tenno. Sure, controlling a warframe that has a mind of its own would normally be too difficult, especially over long distances, but Rex is a robot, and robots can be hacked into.

The Elder Queen shared her plan with the Worm Queen and tasked her with finding a way to invade Rex's mind. The Worm Queen gathered all of their most competent hackers/ technicians and got to work on upgrading the Elder Queen's computer with highly intense Corpus hacking capabilities.

After just a few days the Elder Queen's new weapon was ready for use, and the Elder Queen wasted little time. The Elder Queen was able to successfully hack into Rex using her new electronic weapon, and her first act as Corpus puppet master was to declare war on the Tenno alongside the Grineer.

Unfortunately for the Elder Queen, the Corpus were able to quickly figure out what was happening. Maybe it was allying with the Grineer, or waging war on the Tenno, or the fact that Rex's eyes had suddenly turned red, but whatever it was that tipped them off, the Corpus were not happy about it. They had just begun to warm up to their new leader, so they weren't going to just let the Queens come in and ruin everything.

The first thing they needed to do was restrain Rex so that they could get the Elder Queen out of his head, but they couldn't do that alone since the Elder Queen had taken control of all their robotics. They decided to call up the Tenno and ask them to beat up their possessed leader.

After successfully defeating Rex, the Operator uses transference to help Rex break free from the Elder Queen's grasp. Once free, and the Queen's diabolical plan foiled, Rex fortified his mind to prevent any future attempts to break into his mind. From now on, no one will be able to control or hack into Rex, not even the Tenno.

-Trivia:

Spoiler

•Guen is short for Sanguen, which is an old Latin word for blood (To make life easier for all the fact-checkers out there; the word "sanguen" can be found on a site called "online-latin-dictionary.com", which claims to be "the largest and most complete online Latin dictionary").

•Guen is a whole new breed of warframe. Unlike the other warframes, Guen was never alive, even before being turned into a warframe. She was created when a combination of Mutalist and Helminth infested strains were applied to Kuva. Just as Excalibur Umbra is the first Umbra frame, Guen is the first Mutalist frame.

•There has yet to be a Mutalist warframe that was created from a living organism. It is possible, it just hasn't been done yet.

•Since Guen is an inanimate object she is unable to feel emotion and she cannot think for herself. Luckily the Operator will always be there to do all of the thinking for her.

•Guen is the first frame to have a "Premed" variant instead of a "Primed" variant. Guen's lore doesn't really allow for a Primed variant, but it does allow for an enhanced version of the standard Guen, which is exactly what Guen Preme is. Preme frames are not as powerful as Prime frames, but they're not too far behind. ("Preme" is short for "Supreme" by the way) [(More info on "Preme frames" can be found in the "Notes" tab.)]

•Guen Preme is actually a specific sub-type of Preme frame: "A Mutalist Preme Warframe". In theory, there can be up to 2, maybe even 3 other types of Preme frames, but as of right now the only type of Preme frame is the Mutalist Preme frame. (Other types of Preme frames may include: A Mutalist Preme frame created from a living organism, and a standard Preme frame created from a living organism) [(More info on "Preme frames" can be found in the "Notes" tab.)]

•The reason Guen’s deluxe skin is called “Lakshmi” is because Kuva, in Sanskrit, means lotus. And the name “Lakshmi” belongs to a Hindu goddess who is often associated with the lotus flower and is even sometimes referred to as the lotus goddess.

•Guen is the first and only warframe to have a max rank of 40.

•Guen is the first and only warframe capable of performing valence fusion.

•Guen is the first warframe that does not have definitive polarities.

•Guen is the first and only warframe to have Overhealth capabilities.

Yea, making it female makes more sense, but what are kuva cords?

I might have the name wrong, but its the red braid things that the Kuva people use as a motif. The always stood out to me since they're so full of life. A stark contrast to the metal and technology that shows up in most areas of the game.

But we already have several frames that include kuva in their construction....

HarrowIcon272 Harrow Warframe 2,000

NidusIcon272 Nidus Warframe 2,000

Yeah, but those are different because that isn't the only component they require. This one is made of 100% pure kuva, nothing else.

First thing, change your text color from black to automatic because it's hard to read  when using the forum in dark mode (black text on dark gray background).

I didn't understand the "scepter" in this concept. Is it the actual weapon you get from The War Within or an exulted weapon?

The background story I didn't bother to read. I jumped right to the abilities because I came here for this. When I see a block of text like you wrote I get intimidated and it isn't pleasent to read, I'm not the only one. Better structuring will fix it. A tip I can give you so to avoid writing the story as well because whoever came here to check your idea came here for the abilities and the warframe himself, concept art, even just general ideas for themes and mechanics.
It's not bad to write here to story as well, but note that it's not an importent part. If it's a must because of some design chose that need some backstory then sure, but keep it to the minimum.

The abilities sounds interesting. 3rd ability sounds absurdly strong and like it needs a nerf.
Everything about this warframe didn't sound "kuva" enough. He sounds like a "scepter warframe" more, "the guy that throws spears". He need more kuva and liquids.
It was hard to understand because of the structure of each paragraph.
A tip that will help you that I say to everyone: start your sentense by discribing everything in one sentense. If you can't do that, then it's too complicated. Each ability in one sentense, get to the point. Getting into details is fine, but the reader need a better indication when the small details start.

Ok, i put the story at the end and i nerfed the 3rd ability so it only works at 40% efficiency.

hmm.. let me think... stick all the kuva I have into the rng that is rivens or stick it all into a frame.... considering how much of a pain it is to get decent amounts of kuva and in all honesty your frame doesn't sound that interesting I just wouldn't build it if it was just made from kuva... it was bad enough using kuva on the existing parts for frames.

You’re right, so i changed the passive to a x2 kuva multiplier. Would that make the warframe more worth getting? That way your putting kuva in knowing you can earn it all back, and get even more than you had before.

Should i buff it to 50% efficiency?

no its just a meh ability in general not because its bad but because it doesn't fit her theme.

the 1 and 2 has unique synergies, having terrain interaction with an ability seems fun, fresh, new and mechanics which seem a lot of fun to play around, the 4 is in character of what kuva is but the 3 just sounds totally out of place.

Yeah, i kind of see what you mean. I made that ability in an attempt to make her more effective against bosses, because all of the other abilities rely heavily on crowds of enemies. But i’ll try and think of something that suits her better. Thanks for the feedback

Please feel free to post any ideas, feedback, thoughts, or questions you have about Ajel.

-Here’s my new warframe idea:

“A warframe of kuva, a warframe of chaos. Tread carefully teno, for death has a new name, and her name is Ajel.” (Lotus)

-I think she would look kind of like this:

68747470733a2f2f73332e616d617a6f6e617773

-Ability #1, “Ajel’s kuva scepter”:

Impale small groups of enemies with Ajel’s kuva scepter. Thrown in a streight line the kuva scepter pins any enemies it hits to a nearby wall, or floor, rendering them imobile for 9 seconds while also inflicting the group with a random status effect. While they are pinned down they may still use any ranged weapons they have. If there is no surface for them to be pinned to then they are flung 10 meters away, stunned for 6 seconds, and are still effected by whichever status effect they happened to receive.

-Ability #2, “Kuva flood cocktail”

Summon a flood of liquid kuva to rise from the ground around you, violently pushing back any enemies within its radius while also inflicting a random status effect upon them. After this flood dissipates it will temporarily leave behind a large kuva puddle. The kuva puddle will inflict a random status effect upon each enemy that steps foot within its radius. If the kuva scepter is thrown into the perimeter of the kuva puddle, then all enemies standing in the kuva puddle will be pacified for 9 seconds.

-Ability #3, “Kuva conversion”

Activating this ability once will grant you with 5 seconds of invincibility, during this period, any damage you take will be stored within your warframe with 40% efficiency. Activating this ability again will cause your warframe to release all of the damage you stored during your grace period in a concentrated beam of kuva.

-Ability #4, “Kuva bodyguard”

Casting this ability causes Ajel to slam the butt of her scepter on the ground, effecting all enemies within a certain range of your warframe. Enemies effected by this ability have an 80% chance of being stunned for 10 seconds. The other 20% of enemies will become Ajel’s kuva bodyguards. Overwhelmed by the power of her scepter they will be infused with some of Ajel’s kuva. These enemies will be given a moderate buff of damage, health, and armor, and now fight for you. If one of your kuva bodyguards die they will leave behind a small cloud of kuva. If an ally collects this cloud, both you and that ally will receive 5 seconds of invulnerability and 100 health, but if the cloud is destroyed before it is collected you will lose 120 health.

-Passive

X2 kuva multiplier

OR a chance to evade death by kuva lich

OR while Ajel is bleeding out an ally can use their parazon on her, this will cause her to instantly revive stronger than she was before

(let me know which makes the most sense to you)

-Blueprint requirements

Each blueprint will just require a Toooooon of kuva!

-Notes:

-Similar to kuva weapons, this warframe’s max rank caps at 40 after 5 polarizations (max rank increases by 2 per forma added)

-if you create a kuva lich using Ajel, the type of bonus damage on the corresponding kuva weapon will change randomly every 5 seconds

-Augment mods:

1) Ajel’s kuva scepter augment, “Kuva kebab”:

Hitting more enemies with your scepter in one motion increases the damage inflicted upon them

2) Kuva flood cocktail augment, “Red Molasses”:

Enemies who step foot within the kuva puddle will receive slower movement speed

3) Kuva conversion augment, “Lemons to lemon-aid”:

Activating kuva conversion a second time now converts stored damage into health for you and nearby allies

4) Kuva bodyguard augment, “Survivors guilt”:

Any enemies stunned by the activation of kuva bodyguard will receive a massive armor debuff for 10 seconds

-Backstory

Kuva, unpredictable, dangerous, and mysterious. The worm queen just so happens to have an abundance of that very resource. The elder queen’s body may have died, but the worm queen knew that was not the end. The elder queen has had many bodies, she has seen the world through many pairs of eyes, and this was no different. Instead of giving up, the worm queen started to lay out a plan, a plan that would not only bring back the elder queen, but effectively immortalize her for all of eternity as well. Using her vast kuva reserve the worm queen began to construct her very own warframe, a vessel untouchable by age and unafraid of death. Then finally, she did the unthinkable, she had created a beast beyond comprehension, one that will provide the elder queen’s consciousness with a means of survival, and the vessils name, Ajel, the angel of death. Although this warframe is made up of kuva, unlike its kuva lich counterparts, it is not invincible. The reason for this is that while the operator rips the elder queen out of Ajel at the end of “the kuva queen” quest, Ajel gets damaged heavily, and one thing that was lost in Ajel when she gets rebuilt, is her invulnerability to regular attacks.

-Acquisition

After defeating at least 1 kuva lich you will get a new quest called “the kuva queen”. After accepting this quest you will get a message from a greener soldier who works along side the worm queen. He whispers his message so he isn’t overheard. He says that were all in danger and that if anyone found out about this message he would surely be killed. He warns you about Ajel and says that if you don’t act fast the consequences of this creation will be catastrophic. He tells you that luckily the warframe is yet to be built, so theres still time. He tells you the location of the first blueprint, the systems, and urges you to hurry. Then you hear the voice of someone else and with a fearful voice he says “nothing, just talking to myself”, then whispers, “i got to go” and the message cuts off. Fallowing each mission there will be another message like this one informing you of the next. After the second mission he will reveal that his name is Anwir.

mission #1: (systems)

The systems blueprint mission will begin as a sabotage mission and end as an extermination mission. When you begin the mission, you will be tasked with the objective of destroying all existing copies of the systems blueprint. There will be 5 different markers on the mini-map, each directing you to a different copy of the systems blueprint, simply find and destroy each one, and kill the remaining enemies and you have completed the systems mission. (The reason you need to exterminate all of the enemies after every mission is to make sure the worm queen is never made aware of your plans.)

mission #2: (chassis)

The chassis blueprint mission will begin as a defense mission and end as an extermination mission. When you begin this mission your objective will be to destroy the blueprint, only, unfortunately, this blueprint had already been uploaded to several different sources digitally, and such an elaborate blueprint takes time to eradicate. What you’ll have to do is hack their satellite and protect it while it destroys all records of the Ajel chassis. Once you have done that all that will be left is to eliminate the remaining enemies and head to extraction.

mission #3: (neuroptics)

The neuropics blueprint mission will begin as a stealth mission, and end as an extermination mission. But the stealth portion won’t be like any other, it will be more similar to the mastery rank 9 test. Each enemy will be provided with their own communication systems for increased security, meaning if anyone detects you they will alert all of the other enemies and their queen, meaning not only is the queen now aware of your plans, but the other enemies have been prompted to hide and secure the blueprint, making the mission a complete failure. So, in the start of this mission, before stealing the blueprint, you first have to get to their communication controls, hack it, and disable it. Then simply destroy the blueprint, exterminate the remaining enemies, and head to extraction.

mission #4: (blueprint)

The Ajel blueprint mission is the last mission you’ll need to do in order to neutralize the threat that is Ajel. This mission is only an assassination. Anwir will tell you that you have to kill the worm queen to destroy the final traces of Ajel, because she keeps the blueprint on her at all times. When you finally get to the worm queen she seems caught off guard, she’ll say “Teno! What are you doing here! How ever did you find me!” Then your operator will give a powerful speech about justice and whatnot, then once the speech is done, your operator will fire a shot, in an attempt to begin the fight, but it then gets blocked by some sort of invisible force field. That’s when a large evil grin begins to form on her face. And from behind her thrown appears Anwir with an identical smile upon his face. Anwir then proceeds to reveal the fact that all of those missions were just part of some wild goose chase designed to distract you while she did the final touches on Ajel’s design, as well as to lure you here, to serve as Ajel/ the elder queens first victim. That’s when you decide to leave, but can’t because the doors are locked just before you are able to escape. Then from behind you appears Ajel/ the elder queen. She thanks both of them for all their help, then thanks you for being so gullible. She then proceeds to talk about how eager she is to take it for a proper test drive. You are forced to fight her with no way of escape. Part way into the fight ordis has an idea, “Operator! considering the way this warframe was built, maybe the way to beat it is similar to that of a kuva lich!” But Ajel is more powerful than a kuva lich, so you’ll have to weaken it to a certain level, then use the parazon, and repeat this process 3 times. Once youve used the parazon on The elder queen 3 times, she will finally be weak enough for you to make your final move. Ordis will say something like “Now’s your chance operator! While she’s still weak!” Then, while standing in front of her in operator form, there will be a message prompting you to use transference. Once you do, you will transfer into Ajel, pushing out the elder queen. Unfortunately, the queen trying her best to resist causes severe damage to Ajel during transference, leaving behind nothing but Ajel’s blueprints. As soon as they realized their defeat, the worm queen and Anwir both fled, but this won’t be the last time we see any of them, even the elder queen. Just as she was being forced out of Ajel, she made it clear that this was not the end, by saying something like “you may have beaten me, for now, but the war has only just begun” then she vanishes, like a ghost (which she kind of is). Once you have beaten the elder queen in battle, you’ll simply collect the blueprints from Ajel’s remains and head to extraction.

Idk. I’m kind of picturing her appearance somewhere between wisp and hildryn. Cause kuva made the liches pretty big and kind of bulky. But not hildryn level bulky. Also I’m picturing her with braids/dreadlocks similar to the kuva braids we see on multiple item. Basically picture a well fit kind of bulky black girl with long braids wearing a warframe suit.

Abilities, I’m picturing something a little different. Like having the ability to turn a single enemy into a Lich. DE would have to make 3 different types, 1 for each faction, that any enemy of that faction would turn into. But because they aren’t like regular Liches, they are unstable. So eventually they’ll die. And they scale up with enemy level. So a lich created by this ability would do some serious damage no matter what level the enemies are. Could possibly be recast on an existing lich to prolong its life.

Maybe due to the physical enhancements given to Liches, this frame could also increase the physical capabilities of herself and teammates that she targets. So it’s not a one for all type buff like rhino or chroma. You have to target each player separately like Nezha’s Warden Halo. But she and allies gain higher jumping power, greater melee damage, and wider radius & damage slams. Can also be applied to ally Liches.

Because of the Liches and kuva guardians immunity/invulnerability type tricks, I could see a buff that grants an immunity effect based on the enemies who attack you. It would work almost like Harrow’s fourth but instead of being completely invulnerable for a while and gaining a critical damage additive buff, this one would absorb attacks and channel them into a resistance buff. Let’s say grineer shoot you with puncture damage while the short invulnerability phase is active. Once the phase is over you and allies nearby during the cast would gain resistance to damage from puncture and grineer. However slash, impact, infested, and corpus could still hurt you. So if dealing with more than one faction, timing is everything.

Passive, I could see something like if she goes down she gains one free quick revive that also grants her a resistance to the type of enemy that downed her. Maybe an added bonus that enemies turned into Liches drop kuva. Not a whole lot but if modded correctly you could make a good amount of kuva along the way.

Considering that kuva is also referred to as Old Blood, maybe she has a lot of health(not as high as inaros) and she uses her health for creating Liches and buffing allies.

An alternative for her acquisition of her parts is simply kuva missions. If DE chose. That destroying the siphons have a chance of dropping her parts. Floods have a greater chance. People can complain all they want but DE is not gonna make farming for a frame easy. It can take a few hours to get all parts. People need to get over it. If DE decided for a “Tooooooon” of kuva to be required, then so be it.

These are just some ideas. There is some synergy of her abilities too. You create your own lich and buff them up along with yourself to become a strong duo. Would cost a lot of energy/health but the end would be worth it.

Just my opinion.

-1) Yeah, giving her more mass makes sense, something kind of like this, but female450?cb=20200321025935

I don’t know about braids or dreadlocks though. I just don’t quite see that look for her, I don’t think thats really her style

-2) i thought about an ability that turns single enemies into kuva liches and thought it might be too op, plus it’s kind of already presented in the 4th ability, although the way you presented it where the power basically kills them may make it a feasible option, i’ll think about that one.

-3) i thought about giving her enhancement abilities like this too, but i thought that would be too similar to wisp in her ability to enhance everybody’s warframe like crazy. I just want to make sure this warframe brings new stuff to the table. So yeah at first glance an ability like that seems like a good option, but i don’t think it is a good idea for this frame.

-4) dude, i know you probably won’t believe me, but i thought about this idea too. Anyway, i’m still on the fence about this one because on one hand it is in fact a great idea, but on the other hand, there’s adaptation. And adaptation works constantly, not just when you’re using an ability, so i just don’t see this ability replacing adaptation, and if it does, would that be considered too op? I didn’t think about it affecting nearby allies, but i don’t think that fixes the problem. So anyway, good idea, still fully on the fence about it.

-5) i briefly considered this passive ability too, but i think its a bit too closely related to wukong’s passive ability. Even though it makes sense considering what Ajel actually is, i don’t think that passive could work in game. I also thought about adding some sort of small bonus on fallen enemies so they drop a little kuva, but you know someone’s going to find a way to turn that into an endless kuva farm. If that were a feature of Ajel, then no one would ever do kuva siphon or flood missions once they’ve gotten Ajel.

-6) this i didn’t think about, the idea of siphoning off part of her own health to supplement her abilities is kind of genius, especially considering the fact that she is essentially throwing parts of herself at enemies to make them her slaves. Seriously that idea has some real potential and could totally work with this warframe in my opinion, ill think about ways of implementing it into the design later.

-7) you definitely got a point with this one, despite all of the thought and detail i put into that quest, RNG is for sure a DE move. If they did in fact choose to use my warframe idea, they probably would completely overlook my story and throw the parts in with the kuva flood and siphon missions, which isn’t bad, just different. I might change my own acquisition description to something more like that for that reason.

-8) i don’t think i quite get this last one, so before i respond to it i’m going to wait for you to clarify exactly what you mean

Thanks a million for all of those great ideas and feedback, that’s the best feedback I’ve gotten so far. If you have any objections to my responses just let me know, and if you come up with any more ideas definitely post them, they have been super helpful so far!

Just contributing to the post like Forum Fan Concept players are suppose to do. Providing additional ideas for the OP to add or take into consideration. And in the end when DE views the post and take interests in it, they’ll view the comments too. So either way.

As for 8). I was referring to that the abilities I listed would have synergy with each other. As in they can be used together. Like when you take Rhino’s Ironclad Charge augment to buff your armor which when using iron skin would have a larger amount of health. Then also use Iron Shrapnel augment which turns the iron skin into explosive puncture damage based on the amount of health iron skin has. Or like using Loki’s disarm to force all enemies to come closer to their deaths while using his decoy to lure them all into a single spot for total nuking.

With the abilities I listed, the synergy would be creating a very strong ally to fight along side you. Your own Kuva Guardian if that make sense. Imagine if Wukong could buff his clone. Except this would be a single Lich. That would be a strategic way to utilize all the abilities I mentioned. Turning yourself into some Gruesome Twosome.

Also I wasn’t trying to create a version of adaptation per say but the fact that the Liches evolved to fight the frame used to kill them and have resistances of their own, figured add a similar aspect to the frame. Where she develops a resistance to the factions that tries to kill her. It would be her own version of armor that is different from others. I was mainly trying to focus on the kuva aspect of the concept while using Liches and kuva guardians as examples of what she would be capable of.

But either way, it’s your post, your concept. I’m just providing alternative ideas to help improve it as much as possible for DE to take interest. I have ideas for like 100 different frames. Kuva being one of them. But I’m sort of hesitant due to players who would rather criticize my ideas instead of contributing to them. So seeing your post, I’ve deciding to throw in some abilities that I’ve imagined a kuva frame would have.

Even if you don’t use the ideas yourself, at least I’m providing DE more options in case they ever take interests. Kind of like their community warframe concept they got going on right now. They asked for as many players to contribute to the concept. Which is what I do for any fan concept that I believe has potential to be in the game.
