  4. On the same note about QoL. Ffs DE add innate recast for Iron Skin, having to waste 1 mod slot just to have it is straight up stupid.

  7. My real problem with the passive is just that it could be better. I wish he regenerated energy or something when in the air, or got a lil damage boost in the air maybe. Idk maybe it's just me. It would be very bad even if it was like that, weapons have dozens of multipliers on top of each other. Spectral Scream only has 2: power str and vex armor. Also, the range and AoE is terrible, it could cause infinite damage and I would still prefer Ignis Wraith. The animation is also trash, it looks like a fart idk. I've been calling out on Vex Armor for years, for real it should just be a passive. Ffs it is unbearable to recast it constantly, specially on endurance runs. Or implement some kind of mechanic were it refreshes duration in some conditions, like: killing enemies affected by heat/toxin/cold/electric procs will refresh 1-2s of duration. Anything other than having to spend nearly 150 energy every 30s.

  9. Bump. This thread is gold and DE has to do something about it, I hate using any melee that is very fast because of that one detail.
  10. The thing is: slam damage doesn't stack with critical damage, elemental damage and melee damage. Besides some very few weird interactions with Xata's Whisper and Saryn's Toxin Lash (I think that's the name?) because they're different instances of damage, Slam attacks are pretty much trash and useless. It's only affected by damage multipliers like Roar, the Seismic Wave mod and Nira set mod. Therefore, trash.
  11. +/- Maybe if you're talking about the really tanky frames like Chroma, Inaros, Nidus, Nezha, etc (and I doubt they can tank lvl 800, at this point enemies are causing 50k+ damage easily). But most would be deleted at this point unless they have some form of invincibility. Enemy damage should cap at lvl 300-400. But, to be honest, OPs formula could easily work. In fact, I think it should be a mechanic and not an arcane.
  12. Thought about a good passive too: Dragon Greed: every time Chroma picks up credit, Chroma stores all credit earned up to 3000. When possible, Chroma spends stored credit instead of energy. How would it work? If a skill costs 150 energy, you'll spend 300 credit to use it. I think it is a good passive because it fits with the dragon theme and comboes with Effigy. We could also add something on Effigy that forces credit drops.

  14. Incarnon Ack & Brunt actually needs a heavy stat boost, considering it is miles below Sigma & Octantis. Less damage Less critical chance Less critical damage Less speed Less status chance The weapon will be basically useless unless it solves at least 4 of these, or else you'd be better using Sigma & Octantis. I don't want another trash melee with a gimmick I won't bother using, I want a melee that is actually #*!%ing decent compared to the incarnon primaries/secondaries who can nuke rooms with 1 button press.
  15. He didn't purchase, he just traded with someone for plat. Next time, read everything. Anyways, his issue is totally DEs fault because instead of removing the plat from the other guy, they removed from him.

  17. That's because DE doesn't test anything. They also forgot that heavy slams are trash because they don't stack with most mods, so any gimmick that relies on heavy slams/slams (Sampotes, Tenet Exec, Incarnon Furax, etc) is basically useless.
  18. Of all the examples you could give, you literally compared it to Revenant. This m_therf_cker can achieve basically 20s of invincibility with no effort (assuming you're constantly getting shot) and SHARE 5s (again, assuming you're constantly getting shot) of it with allies. He can also replace some of his skills with Roar or anything else that gives damage and become just as good, if not better, than Rhino. I swear, that's why I only open the forum 1-2 times per week, or else I'll lose my sanity. Most people here simply don't know what they're talking about. Nobody does that. You literally created a problem just to use it as an argument, yet this problem doesn't even exist at all. Isn't that strawman argument or something? "Very hardcore Rhino main", yeah, for sure. Iron Skin is very good on paper, but try taking Rhino to any lvl cap that isn't a grineer tile set and you'll be dead as soon as a Scrambus or Nullifier appear. Not to mention Infested tilesets, good luck not having an invul period when any tick of toxin damage bypass your shield gate. Without a recast, you're basically F'ed in this situation, let alone Blitz Eximus instantly wiping your Iron Skin and knocking you down, basically killing you because you'll get stunlocked, you'll only be saved if you have Primed Surefooted. Rolling Guard isn't even safe enough for Rhino, because his Iron Skin (at high levels) survives solely based on the damage you take inbetween the 3s invincibility, that means Iron Skin will AT BEST sustain 3s of constant fire (which is a very rare scenario), and 6s isn't enough to be safe and recast Rolling Guard, assuming you're under conditions were toxin damage or insta-knockdowns can be received ofc. If Iron Skin at least lasted for 5-6 seconds, maybe. A problem that Nezha and Revenant don't go through. They have either invul periods or work in such a way that rolling guard is already safe enough. And they'll probably nerf it very soon. They were already pretty vocal about the fact that they don't want VIPs/Bosses being affected by CC, Rhino Stomp was hiding in plain sight for years because people just underestimate it, it's just a matter of time until DE nerfs it and it becomes trash like every other CC ability. You can screenshot that if you want, I wouldn't be surprised if they did that this year, lol, I wouldn't be surprised if they did that this month.
  19. First, I'd like to point out that I love DE and Warframe, but I won't hold them on a pedestal because this is becoming a pattern. I find it absurd that DE, after all these years, still have no clue on how to balance this game even a little bit. Not only that, but they're extremely out of touch with what the community wants since years ago (no exaggeration). Nobody, like NOT A SINGLE SOUL said "lol man, Incarnon Skana is pretty OP", everybody thought it was just normal, mediocre tbh, and they somehow decided it needed a nerf: https://imgur.com/gallery/mioL1Te Not to mention Incarnon Furax having such a stupidly bad designed Heavy Slam. Who thought that a 4m AoE fire DoT that causes 3 digit damage would be useful? All while the heavy slam itself throws enemies out of the range of its AoE DoT. Like, literally, the Heavy Slam is USELESS. There's no way anybody would deem it worthy if they ever bothered testing, NOBODY would conclude that, they a 100% didn't test this. Like, seriously, what the hell is happening? The new melees have all been trash except for a very specific few who can exploit weird calculations (like Corufell). Every new melee type is trash because they have trash stances, no exception. And now even the incarnon melees are somewhat bad, why bother with them if they will perform the same (if not worse) as the top weapons? All while being such a pain in the ass to farm, let's not forget. Not to mention the BIGGEST and WORST problem melees have currently: they're way too impractical. You get your damn primary/secondary and they can benefit from "condition overload (galvanized aptitude)" by themselves, they don't need any primers, no "combo duration" and etc. With melees you need: >combo duration. So either go naramon or sacrifice 2 arcane slots to equip dexterity). >a primer. Because melees don't apply enough status p/hit to benefit from Condition overload by themselves. >slash. Yes, that's it, if you don't have slash your melee won't do sh1t on meaningful content (aka Steel Path) unless you have armor strip. Some secondaries can bypass that (like kuva nukor) because they apply so many status stacks p/second that they can fully stack viral/corrosive and things like that. So basically 60% of your melees are gone because there's no Hunter Munitions for us. >heavy attack efficiency. The best builds are hybrid, the thing is, since they removed the #*!% out of heavy attack efficiency from Zenurik, you're forced to put a mod slot for it. So basically we are back to square one, instead of wasting 1 slot on combo duration you will waste 1 slot on heavy attack efficiency. I don't even know what to say anymore, it feels like we are trying to communicate with a wall.

  21. The weapon is pretty OP for an early game weapon ngl. It has prime weapon attributes and you can get it in the beginning. But I have to agree, for a veteran it is very disappointing. But the other weapons on the update tho, wow. Sampotes and Syam look very effective from what I've seen.
  22. I'll explain why it wouldn't work: besides toxin, the other 3 are very rare and immunity to them wouldn't mean anything. Chroma shouldn't be limited by his theme, his theme should make him more powerful, not less. Chroma needs to be on par with the top tier frames, AND his theme should help him accomplish that, not hinder himself. I think Spectral Scream should be like the new Orowyrm elemental breath, straight up nuts with a lot of range and wide asf. Basically Ignis Wraith on crack. His passive should be something like: when Chroma receives damage (shield or health, doesn't matter), he recovers energy. Vex Armor should give status immunity, also, the armor boost should be a total armor boost because currently it doesn't affect modded armor, arcane bonuses that increase armor nor armor bonuses from Archon Shards. I have no idea for elemental ward and effigy tho, I'm more interested in making Chroma more efficient.
