What is the easiest way to get lifted status?

The thing with slams (normal and heavy) is that it locks you in place for some time. YOu can cancel that after you hit them with roll. As fair I remember lift status duration is scaled with combo counter.

They do, but not all melee weapons are created equal in terms of overall effect beyond that baseline. For example, heavier weapons tend to have a wider slam radius, which means more enemies can be lifted per slam.
