Vey Hek/hydroid...seriously?

Don't get me wrong, I get the whole RNG thing, but this is a little ridiculous.

 

 

With as tough as it is to farm beacons to craft the stupid keys, there really should be more certainty with the BP drops. I just now ran 5 keys in a row, back to back and got 3 helms and 2 systems...thats just not right. I haven't come across any other boss that it takes 15+ runs to get a set, so why is it that the hardest boss to farm has a stupid drop rate?

How odd. Chassis is probably the least rare part, while Systems are universally regarded as the rarest...

 

But yes, the Vay Hek situation is redonkulous. Hydroid is one of the few Warframes I purchased with Platinum.

I played like 20 vay hek missions until I could build him.......and the helm was the last part I needed too, I feel you mate :/

I had to kill Hek like 40 times before he dropped last part. And it was when delta beacons was unasseptably rare. But I at least had good clanmates who farmed hydroid too.

wow, RNG really hates you dude. I got 3 different parts on 3 vay hek runs but that was a while back when hydroid came out. I don't know if they changed the drop rates.

But again this is the remnant of a non-quest drop system.

Which DE probably won't touch for awhile (new stuff are ALL quest based).

It is entirely possible to have such luck.

The biggest issue you have is that getting teh keys are probably the most hindering part.

 

Want a little story to feel better?

Killed Raptor over 30 times to get Nova when she got out.

Killed Ruk as of now almost 75+ times (I have close to 30 helmets and chassis; and nearly 20 systems for Ember), I have gone to kiliken about 10 times up to round 25, narcissus to round 15 about 8 times in the past 2 weeks. Still no Split Chamber.

Whilst hydroid took me 3 runs, Nekros took me around 13 runs, over half of the drops i got were helmets :l

Tried to farm them with mobile defense + survival... the drop rate was horribly... prolly 2-3 deltas per mission... I dont even know where to get the other ones.

it took me about 20+ runs to get all of the Trinity parts but only like 4 to get all of the Saryn parts.

 

The game seems to know which frames you actually want and will purposefully troll you.

Its insane because Devs are making things like this:
Hydroid Chassis 35% chance
Hydroid helmet 60% chance
Hydroid System 5% chance
WTF?!

Devs really need to stop do things like that. Everything should be random
Chassis 33%
Helmet 33%
System 33%

That would be fair enough, farming whole days is just ridiculous.

I gived up with Scindo Prime Blade and Loki Prime parts. I was forced to buy those for PLATINUM from players.

If for example on T3Mod Def there are around 8 parts and you want only one from it, it is automaticly hard to get because you have like 12.5% chance to get it. Why they maked it so hard? Around 3% chance to get it? you will get 40 these same non usable parts and you can't be sure if you will ever get that one piece.

This is one of the reasons I don't but platinum for real money in that game. because of many other things it don't deserve to pay real money. Because Devs are playing in bad way, we make this harder because some players will buy platinum. Lol no me.
