Tesseract7777 Posted May 23, 2015 Share Posted May 23, 2015 Salad is likely a reference to the fact that Schizophrenic people often have a symptom referred to as "word salad", where what they say often sounds jumbled, like it doesn't make any sense. Thus, a "salad" of words. Alad often sounds like a schizophrenic person, and his name is Alad, so Salad seems like an obvious nickname. Not for sure on this one, but that's what I always assumed was behind it. As for Vauban being called Booben, I don't know where to find it know, but it was an old thread on the forums. Someone, probably trolling, or for whom English was a second language, asked how "booben" was formed. People figured out he was meant Vauban, and the nickname stuck. Likewise for Alad to Salad. S resembles 5. The first letter of Alad is "A". What comes after A? B. 5-2=3 Go figure.
