Will De Ever Stop Making Frames?

As ot stands, there are 38 frames, with 4 more rumored to come out before 2017. Do you think DE will ever say "ok, these are the frames that will be in the game, no more are coming"

And if they are going to cap the amount of frames, how many do you think we will have at max. 50 frames? 100?

From my experience, warframe is probably one of the few games in the shooter genre to have so many characters.

Destiny has 3 classes

CoD has 9 specialists

Battlefield has 4 classes

R6 has 9 operators (i think)

Plametside 2 has 5 classes

Meanwhile, warframe has 38+ frames. Thats more then all the afore mentioned games combined.

No. Am more worried about were they would place the warframes. As there are limited bosses on the map. They could just place behind a grind wall, or quest wall. At the moment am happy, but scared of the unknown future grind

...how many champions any MOBA has? On average?

DE will finish creating frames once Mynki retires, or they lose funding.

I didnt mention mobas because of the genre differences. A moba with 9 characters is just bad, so they are expected to have a lot. Warframe, as a thirdperson shooter, is not expected to have a lot of characters

its more like an mmo in the sense of classes rather than a shooter, and no, they will stop making them when they stop working on warframe

Mass Effect had like 6 classes over 6 playable races (any ME3 specialist got more data?), Warframe is closer to Mass Effect or MOBA than it is to any other TPS (because quite frankly, Warframe is what exactly, MMO-RPG-TPS?).

 

Especially because MOBA doesn't exactly enforce birdeye view (see SMITE).

 

Warframe is in this weird place The Division is going to be, and to be honest, I cannot wait to see how The Division pulls this off.

If only they would craft their skill kits in a proper manner instead than throwing raw Warframes out repeatedly to fix them later.
It's yet plenty of WFs variety, by working on build variety trought augments would be easier.

The problem is always the same. Producing contents to keep playerbase farming.

Something wrong with making new Warframes?

 

I would hope they would spend more time on the actual game, more specifically, the terrible, boring, level design. But that doesnt bring in the $$ so what do I know.

1. And? Making money from your own game is wrong? 

2. Parkour 2.0 doesn't bring money, PBR changes don't bring money, reworks don't bring money...

3. Community is bigger everyday. Bigger community want more content.

See, I get why they keep adding new frames, but I also wish they'd redirect all that effort towards creating new mission types and tilesets and factions. Adding new frames is great, but there are only so many ways you can use said frames while playing the same missions on the same tilesets against the same factions.
