We understand he may be your favorite character... but one of Warframe's strongest components is its story and lore. Much of the community is built around the lore and continues playing because of the lore (and of course gameplay).

Y'all are broadly aware that the Stalker is not actually an ultimate badass, right? Once you know how he works, he goes down hard and regular. Out of the last ten times I've fought him, he's won once. I once beat him to death with a level 10 Sydon.

 

Old Stalker was genuinely worrying. Shadow Stalker is a scrub who has no idea what he's doing and is in truly desperate need of a buff.

No, we don't "need" a Stalker Syndicate; a bunch of edgy Stalker fanboys just want this so they can "invade" other players' games and kill them for their own enjoyment, completely ruining the fun of other players who understand Warframe's PVE and PVP should forever be separated and not giving a damn about it. What this game needs is proper enemy scaling, proper balancing, and for DE to release/rework weapons so they're actually worth their resource costs and/or MR restrictions (I'm looking at you, Sibear, Stradavar, and Dark Split-Sword).

You want a Stalker Syndicate? Join Red Veil, equip one of the Stalker-esque Sigils (like the Scar Sigil, Stalker Sigil, or the Acolyte Sigil/Badge if you got them from Operation Shadow Debt), throw on all your Stalker-esque weapons, edge up by painting yourself and your weapons black and red, and go play Conclave. That way you can "hunt" other Tenno and leave the rest of us to our own game.

Last time I fought Stalker, I lost. Because he Ganked me while I was doing Vault Runs with the Key that makes you do almost no damage, and my Team didn't kill him fast enough. Not to mention all the Mutalist Osprey that kept Poisoning me.

Also, As has been said. The only foreseeable way that Stalker and the Tenno will EVER work together is if there is an immediate threat that neither of them could handle on their own. Just like in Warhammer 40k, the various races only work together against greater threats, and as soon as that threat is gone, they go back to killing each other. I highly doubt that with how much Stalker hates us, that he would ever forgive what the Tenno did, and with how many times the Stalker has attacked the Tenno, and not to mention what happens in second dream, that the Tenno or Lotus would trust him.

Honestly if people want to paint their Excal Black and Red, buy Hunhows Gift and Cosplay as Stalker, fine. But adding a Syndicate that allows you to attack other Tenno outside the Conclave, is just asking for Edgelord Trolling.

No one said any thing about friendly fire,and i cant buy hunhows gift because no one likes my vaulted parts(ember prime helm, prime bp,wyrm prime carapace),and everyone backs out of their promise to duel for plat,and a pipe busted in my house because the county doesnt know how to do things right so i cant ask to buy platinum,no one wants my nightmare mods either,or my void keys,i cant sell my prisma tetra because it is ranked up,no one wants my prime sets,so i cant get plat to buy it,i was going to do what you said,but i have no plat.

Oh please. Tenno are only loyal so long as DE keeps us railroaded into the same setup. DE declared that the Tenno and Natah are the good guys in the Warframe universe, while everyone else is evil but there is no actual proof of that. I would believe that the Tenno are good if we were given the option to either save a few colonies or condemn them and get nice loot and the majority gave up the loot for the sake of lore, but we don't have those type of options or events.

Create a few events where players can choose sides and wipe each other out for nice shiny object and you will see the true nature of the Tenno. I am not talking about the whole "pick a side and everyone gets the item" event; I mean the types where "choose wrong and you get nothing" or "If you don't get a certain amount of points against other players = you get nothing."

Oh and for the people who think Stalker really hates us, if he did that then why didn't he snap our necks when he had the chance? Why is the fight onboard our ship less of a threat and more like an older sibling holding a younger one back with a palm on their forehead? As far as Stalker's hatred of the Tenno goes, he is less of a threat now and more of a "Hope you got OP weapons to kill me, otherwise you are in for a long attrition fight" setup.

As much as some players would love a quest like that, never going to happen. It would make the lore of the Tenno being united false as well as having players doing missions with each other if they are on different sides. Would the two groups even get along or would they be at each other's throats to the point a rad proc mission is insta failure?

Then you have the events, the "Gifts of the Lotus" missions, yearly Lotus gear and even the Guides of Lotus to take into consideration. Would the followers of Stalker be left out in the cold? Would they get a different NPC to give them the same missions and items? Would the gear that Natah hands out be changed to fit the faction?

While outside of the game it wouldn't seem that big of a deal because it is just a game, yet DE appears to care about the lore and story they are telling. Add to it making another NPC to give items and missions along with other changes would be considered a waste of resources when it is easier to railroad the players into one permenant faction.
