  1. Another thing, these guys can hit you through objects and walls iirc. If they initiate the animation for their attack and you move so an object is blocking your line of sight these suckers can still hit you as far as I remember. That and they swarm you so even playing well can result in ohko to your energy. Really annoying enemies tbh. Would be much better if their attack simply caused magnetic proc and that was it.
  2. While having an augment slot would be a nice QOL change, it would also be a straight (and somewhat inconsistent) increase to player power. Way I see it the inconsistency of augment utility/usefulness makes a dedicated slot very difficult to implement fairly. The frames with "mandatory" augments see a flat bonus while frames without augments and/or useful augments would see basically no benefit. Seems like it would not be beneficial to dedicate dev time into something that has wildly disproportionate benefits.
  3. Because it doesn't fit the theme and it is disruptive. I've gone into detail on this for a few years now but Grendel theme is gluttony. Gluttony doesn't just mean eat a lot, it means constantly eat. By sucking up more enemies it reduces the need to constantly eat. It is also disruptive to remove a lot of enemies from the field (as was directly stated by pablo). Just because you think it is cool doesn't mean it is thematic or practical.
  4. I agree. The over-designed liger stuff is not very interesting to me either. I get why people would like it but IMO it looks way better on paper than it does ingame. Those skins are basically the "look what I can do" stuff instead of the "what would be thematically and aesthetically appropriate". imo its a combination of the helmet and the overall body shape. Yareli is dainty, that skin is beefy. Beefy like ivara.
  5. When pablo showed off the new powers I didn't like the ult. The tentacles are more or less nezha spears sticking out of the ground. They don't move around whatsoever. It's really a pity. The visuals on plunder are also pretty bad (nonexistant). Functionally it works okay but this update really was a nerf on hydroids animations/aesthetics if nothing else.
  6. The smeeta/vulpa opinion you are referring to is one popularly voiced by youtube influencer noobs and mid-tier players who have no idea what they are talking about.
  7. except the built forma which was confirmed in the devstream.
  8. Shooting enemies also doesn't work in high ping groups....nor does opening doors, interacting with terminals, protecting rescue targets etc High ping is no Bueno. Anything to do interactions can be massively screwed up when you have big latency problems.
  9. You CAN choose your genders if it means that much to you. You want to be a boy gender? Make your operator/drifter a boy. You want to be a girl, make it a girl. As for the warframes, if you can't bear playing forced gender then only pick male/female frames to match your desires.
  10. It makes sense that she lose access to sentinels but the free roaming pets are a bit of a head scratcher. I've not really thought much about it but it does beg the question.
  11. From my few hours with her I feel like she is aptly suited for swapping in and out of operator for survivability. She basically has upkeep phase which is when the 3 is useful, the ZZZ mode when the 3 is on cooldown. I just jump into operator when the cooldown starts and zoink enemies with super powered madurai blasts for 30 seconds then swap back to dagath. Works okay. Only real problem I have with her is doom kind of sucks and is great at the same time. Her 4 is massively slow to cast too so cast speed is pretty much mandatory.
  12. The flipped gravity thing sounds really goofy. Also, frame within a frame has already been done. Sevagoth. Granted, I do like the idea of a frame within a frame using archguns and archmelee.
  13. Will this script also pay plat back to people who inadvertently purchased the aumen collection because it was not given via the Dagath collection? I purchased Dagath collection and was not given the aumen stuff. In the stable the game prompted me to purchase the aumen and listed all of the contents therein as "not acquired". Should never have had to purchase the aumen collection separate from the dagath collection. Ingame Dagath collection clearly includes the aumen stuff.
  14. Does this have anything to do with the Dagath Collection not actually purchasing the Acumen Collection? I bought the Dagath Collection then went to use the new Kaithe stuff and was told I had none of them so I purchased the Acumen bundle (I thought it was part of Dagath collection but assumed maybe this was something I didn't purchase in the month(s) I've been away from the game) only to see it was actually listed in the Dagath Collection as I originally thought. Not sure why I didn't receive it with the Dagath Collection but effectively ended up buying it twice because the pieces were not available when I was dressing up the Kaithe.
  15. Respectfully I disagree across the board to the opinions of the op. Grendel is very solid both in gameplay loop and theme. The current cap on consumed enemies is perfect.
  16. If you see the parts in your inventory this might mean you haven't actually created the necramech.
  17. With the damage reduction increase you basically have more overshields. Damage reduction creates larger effective numbers so in essence the overshields go farther than before. Not technically more overshields but at least it's something.
  18. Ahhh gotcha. Well to that I have to disagree. Exilus slots should have a mod cost, as they currently do.
  19. I'm not really sure what you're trying to say here. Can you expand on your argument a bit more? Are you saying you want exilus mods to add capacity to primary/secondary weapons? Are you saying melee weapons should have arcanes? Your post is pretty confusing, to me. Sorry.
  20. Nothing wrong with a little disagreement. I definitely see where you're coming from on this. It can be frustrating to expend resources that take time acquiring only to be left with broken expectations.
  21. I definitely hear what you're saying and I see where Silence isn't always going to prevent the issue, but if you stop to engage a spawning Acolyte how often do they spawn farther than 50m away? Genuinely do not know the spawn distance mechanics. I feel like they spawn relatively close to the player most of the time (unless zooming past towards a mission objective/extraction).
