  1. It is funny to see a rework proposed for one of the strongest frames...
  2. I agree. Never needed biting frost.
  3. What you are doing is effectively asking a company that pulls in millions of dollars a year to change things because you want something different. That's like calling Pepsi and telling them you want to change the ingredients of their product because you like something different. No matter how you structure your argument, you are coming across like someone forced to drink Pepsi when they prefer coke. You don't the state of the game then go somewhere else. People with more business sense than you.
  4. I don't think that's a valid comparison at all. Warframe has far more content/diversity than Counterstrike... Just because Counterstrike has a ton of players doesn't really mean it has more content, which is the core issue you've identified in your topic/original post. I don't really think too highly of the type of person that plays Counterstrike or any other toxic PVP MMOG.
  5. "this game has nothing to do" - someone who has done everything and has nothing LEFT to do Play something else for a year or two. Then there will be plenty to do when you come back :) Honestly its a weird criticism to make. There's hundreds of hours (if not thousands) of content in Warframe. Just because you've run through everything you want to do doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the content release patterns nor the amount of content available to the player. Games are not infinite... without intending to be insulting, play something else if you're bored of warframe. Nothing wrong with that. I'm currently in a "down" cycle with warframe and don't really intend to go active again for a year or two because I've exhausted most everything too. Oh buddy then you really don't have a right to complain. You're choosing to put yourself in a situation where you play a game that doesn't offer what you want. It isn't up to the developers to accommodate you.
  6. What I want to know is, how does this work with accounts that are on one thing with intent to use cross save across platforms at a future date. I originally migrated my PC account to Switch a few years back (so not elligible for the cross save integration) but never used it; primarily because the progress on each platform was separate. I'd be totally fine with being able to utilize cross save features though if able (ditching my old migrated account to just use my PC save which is all I've ever really used anyway).
  7. Edit: Nevermind. I see the thing saying accounts used to migrate from pc to console are intelligible for merger. Makes sense.
  8. Now that qorvex is out, finishing off all new warframes for 2023, which frame do you think is aesthetically most displeasing? For me it's this new frame. Qorvex is definitely my most disliked design. What about you guys? Who do you think is the ugliest?
  9. Of course there is a reason one might make a build around the thing.. but that's not really my point. Kind of goes without saying that builds exist. The point I am making is it is foolish to design a frame such that one build invalidates another. It is shoddy design.
  10. I am all for build diversity but you are 100% right. Frames with ideal build strategies that cause contradictions in the efficiency of abilities should be streamlined. Never ever bother with ev builds in this Era of warframe because there is never a situation where I would rather give up survivability in favor of energy. And the nova issue... man don't get me started. Never liked the speedva/slowva limitations with build diversity.
  11. what combination of helminth abilities would create such a monstrosity?
  12. There's a critical issue with this idea. If a player has no helminth abilities the frame is effectively useless. Otherwise, a helminth-only frame is certainly an interesting concept. The passive could cause slot 1, 2, 3 and 4 abilities to have differing additional effects. IE: Slot 1 +25% efficiency Slot 2 +25% range etc.
  13. Dave the Diver is my recent cup of poison :P :P
  14. The trend towards rotating/weekly content is largely why I rarely play anymore. Not because I actually care about any of the rewards but because it has encouraged less constant play in favor of intermittent play. With less pushing me to play constantly I've had time to find other games to keep me busy. Honestly I think this new type of rotating/limited reward is ultimately harmful to longterm player retention. Especially since much of the stuff locked behind it isn't necessary. Having to wait weeks/months to unlock everything has made me realize how little I actually care about any of it.
  15. "nerfs" lol I played a lot of Grendel and to even hint at the changes being nerfs is incredibly disingenuous. The changes were absolutely a buff.
