  1. No. It's a mixed bag. It's partly skill in mastering movement on Yareli, and partly fighting the tileset itself, because even a Yareli main like myself can recognize the fact that normal tilesets were not created with vehicle use in mind. It's yet another case of poor execution of a neat idea by DE. I have asked DE countless times to at the very least reduce her hitbox height like they did with necramechs only for it to fall on deaf ears. Instead they made this augment which doesn't actually solve the problem. sigh
  2. while I don't like that this augment will soon exist, this is 100% correct lmao
  3. i didn't watch the devstream because it went live at 2am where i am excellent very well, so merulina guardian works. so essentially it's riding merulina but not really. the logical conclusion is that surging blades will probably cost 0 energy to cast as well.
  4. sigh if people do not like kdrives and the jank it comes with, they are better off playing another frame. Nezha or Rhino or whatever. The K-Drive, Merulina, is integral to Yareli's identity, her whole gimmick and reason for existing. Having her not ride it at all just muddies her identity and defeats the purpose of making Yareli/Merulina in the first place. So now, should she become popular as a result of this augment, it's no longer "oh she's the kdrive frame", it's "oh she's a great frame but you need the augment to disable her gimmick". it's unfortunate that DE decided to cater to them instead of, yknow, allowing primary use on Merulina, fixing the bugs, etc... ah... whatever. evidently no one really cares (see usage chart), not even DE themselves (see bugs). given that she isn't actually riding merulina it's likely that Surging Blades will cost energy, along with not being able to move while casting her 1, 3 and 4. you also probably won't be able to utilize the crazy DPS boost from Merulina Guardian, but this assumes that Merulina is invincible with this augment. EDIT (before anyone gets any funny ideas): No I am not mocking people who don't want to use Merulina as it is. I totally get that. My gripe has more to do with DE just doing literally nothing about kdrives. Apologies if I came off as arrogant, that was not my intention. I am just... so damn tired, being completely ignored ad infinitum.
  5. you might wanna post this in the bug reporting section
  6. probably wouldn't wanna pay a subscription because we have billions of those already and i wouldn't wanna tack on 1 more on my wallet, and don't really care if DE actually does provide dedicated servers or not for us in the future, but... ...if they're gonna go down this road pls pls pls I hope they put some servers in the SEA + Oceania region because my SEA ass doesn't wanna connect to a server in #*!%ing Ontario, Canada and play on 30 billion ping just to do a quick relic cracking mission
  7. they also need to make it so deadhead arcanes stack when I kill them hitting that weak point — kinda sucks playing vs non-humanoids with deadhead since they have nontraditional "heads."
  8. Good finds. The duplication glitch may or may not be related to how Yareli can give Rescue/Sortie defense targets her secondary weapon without losing her own. I'll try to look into it when I have time.
  9. I'm not sure if this is FOV related because I don't really have an issue with Qorvex's Disometric Guard on any frame
  10. WHAT zariman is one of the better tilesets for her. why not?
  11. any tileset that's wide and tall enough is instantly iconic for me because there's enough room for Yareli to just skate through with 0 issue.
  12. i know but it's fine. I'd rather eat 5 and have 0 drain on hp/energy and i like not having to run Rage/hunter adrenaline
  13. I'd say Nourish being subsumable has largely replaced Grendel as evidenced by his play rate. There are a ton of other factors that contribute to that obviously but I think Nourish being a subsume ability kinda contributes to that as well. But I love playing Grendel so I'll just run him if I ever want to use Nourish.
  14. yes it's honestly a mishmash of certain kawaii themes like idols, magical girls and generally just being bubbly and cute as her animations show. but yes god PLEASE GIVE ME MAHOU SHOUJO YARELI I NEED IT YESTERDAY
  15. as long as viral remains as broken as it is there's no point in modding for anything else, unless whatever you're facing has reduced vulnerability to viral procs, have an immunity to viral procs, or is completely immune to viral as a whole. you can mod for other elements, sure. certain snipers/bows are kinda funny with Gas setups that exploit multiple damage modifiers (Deadhead, Target Acquired, etc) is one example, but imo outside of these interactions/weapons, it feels more like modding for flavour than effectiveness.
  16. alas such is the nature of RNG.
  17. no even with cc adaptation they should be disabled for at the very least a split second. sometimes they just keep moving regardless
  18. Yareli can give the Rescue/Defense target her secondary weapon, without losing her own. It's a bit tricky but you need to be on Merulina for it to work. Simply moving near the target won't bring up the prompt; you have to (for whatever reason) strafe in front/near the target then press X when the prompt to give your weapon pops up (for about half a second). Is this a bug? Is it intended? Not even DE knows!
  19. said it before will say again as long as augments like iron shrapnel, biting frost, sonic fracture, seeking shuriken/fatal teleport etc exist, i support having an augment slot. i will support having an augment slot as long as there are plenty of useless abilities that actually need their augment to even be worth using. don't try to justify to me the existence of useless base abilities, I will not be swayed. as long as DE is not working on changing how they work at base, again, i will be in favour of having a special slot for our augments.
  20. I'm not sure if it's the lighting making it look odd or if it is just like that
  21. that being said though, I'm sure there is a way to make imbuing less... carpal tunnel inducing, without having to introduce an augment for it. not a whole rework but maybe a bit of an adjustment. like i get it, you may want to use 1 of Lavos' abilities without imbuing which probably justifies the existence of the imbued element being lost upon cast which necessitates re-imbuing, but surely you Lavos players feel this to be at the very least a bit clunky. @SneakyErvin makes a great point and it's what i mentioned earlier as well. it's not like the option of using just the ability's base element would be lost if you didn't have to re-imbue after every cast. for example, if you wanted to just use the ability with no element imbued, just the base element of that ability, DE could make it so re-imbuing with the current input element removes it, leaving a blank (that is, no element imbued). it is effectively the same as it is today, which would satisfy players who just want to use the same element in a row, and those who don't. i am not a lavos player unfortunately, i am just the cutest yareli main around. this is just my 2 creds.
