Eating Mechanic for Warframe

I think Warframe should have an eating mechanic. Eating certain foods gives you a buff. You can craft meals with ingredients. When you eat the meal it has an animation for eating like the one you had in the duviri paradox quest in your dormizone. Were you at a Zaramin cube.

I don't like that. So as long as it's some sort of very minor buff, then why not, but I don't see them wasting development time on minor stuff.

We have already lots of activities to do on Warframe, I don't want to add fishing + crafting to that list.

So unless this plans on using Rubedo and Cryotics to feed your mouthless warframe with, that's a no for me

Warframes have no mouths. Lore-wise it is stated that Helminth is responsible for nourishing your warframes.

No buffs but for the drifter/operator it would be nice to have a table decoration with food where you get an animation to eat, I mean eating animation is there from the new war.

In the Warframe universe, it wouldn't make sense for food to give you buffs or heal you because that's not how food really works.

As for temporary buffs, the thing that actually nutritionally sustains the Warframes — the Helminth — already has a clumsy system for that.

While Gauss charging across the open worlds and stopping for a snickers sounds fun, I think I'll pass.
