Shuuro Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 So, on this Scramble debate, the reason people are complaining, in part, is because they may have gotten stuck with a crappy pattern after multiple scrambles. That would be my only reason to complain about it. I assume at least some of the people would want to keep scrambling to try for something nice but instead they're just stuck with whatever their latest gamble before the removal got them. Think of it this way, if you were at a casino and had been on a slot machine for a while, you'd get &!$$ed too if, randomly, the casino closed for the day hours before you were ready to leave and, as RNG would have it, your next nickel would be the one to get you the jackpot. I don't know that a full refund would be justified, but for the money I'd put into the system that got removed, I'd want SOME kind of reparation, like a choice 1 of several preset patters, for instance. No. I would have been dissapointed period until I got a black/white Lotus Kubrow. I got a "decent" design. His names Kujo. He looks like a fluff ball of chocolate <3 But guess what? He's still not what I was aiming for. Was this all of us arguing about RNG on Kubrows? No. This was us trying to get rid of an RNG Platinum only solution to the market. and please for the love of Lotus stop using real life examples.

At least I'm assuming that's the cause of it, because it's been over two fixes and I STILL can't raise up his loyalty. At this Point I hope it's not too much for me to ask for... Some sort of reset for my Kubrow interaction limit on my account? Again I'm only assuming that it is due to me putting him in stasis every time I go to bed. Fix one: go to pat him... Nothing, I'm told that it's probably because I patted him so many times before the update/fix. Fix two: go to pat him... Still nothing, now I'm assuming it's because I had him in stasis and the update somehow did not apply or it also freezed his cooldown time. So please DE, can I have a reset on the duration of my interactions? I've been waiting so long to be able to fight alongside my friend again. Also a refund would be nice for the amount I've spent into his fur pattern. On Sat Jul 19 I purchased 1000p to dedicate towards my pets fur, now I'm down to 191p (ignoring the 1 at the end as that was my leftovers from before I purchased the 1000p) I have the receipt to prove it if necessary. Thank you once again DE. Edit: apparently I had to wait until he recovered from stasis as well. His loyalty is back up now... At least as far as he could go with the limited 3 uses. Brynslustafir Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Now that you've taken back the god-awful scrambling mechanic, how about just letting us paint our Kubrows the way we paint our warframes, weapons, and sentinels? If you want to make money off it, just let use buy fur patterns form the store for plat. Problem solved, everyone is happy.

I was surprised there were a lot in mercury, I mean it was were all the beginners are so I liked how you removed arc traps in Mercury. You did notice that Quick Thinking is somehow not working in this update, I'd appreciate it if it gets fixed on the next update.Thanks DE.
HardcoreHorker Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 I am confused as to why Scrambler was taken out, I understand due to people that dislike buying with Plat, But now that it's gone there is four possible RNG elements, Type, Color, Pattern, Gender, Considering on my efforts to get a type and gender matched correctly, But with the wrong type of pattern I now am sitting here with a pale little pup, Either allow players to farm for it in some way or another, Lower the plat or whatever but my poor little Kubrow looks like bite sized marshmallow.

I decided to farm for the egg so it took some time and now im going to be stuck with the color is was born with? How about this, you purchase solid colors, with plat, for your Kubrow and the gene scrambler changes the pattern and fur types. So we can have short fur, big fur, dreads. The pattern can be like a shark with dark on top and light on the bottom, tiger-like, or spotty, or lotusy, or get genes for floppy ears, different colored eyes, big saber-tooth fangs, huge bat ears. Get this stuff going fast cause it's going to suck that we cant do anything now. 10 plat was kind of a bit if one was really picky but i could have thrown in a couple per dog and be fine with it. Or how about brackets? 5P for basic colors. 6p for uncommon colors 7p for rare colors. 8p for basic patterns 9p for uncommon patters. 10 for rare patterns? Edited July 22, 2014 by Mak_Gohae

So um...why exactly were you aiming for that then if you're okay with what you have? Because the only things I've heard about that specific fur pattern are that it sells for the same Platinum as some of the 10-level mods. Why try to luck into something that's available for exorbitant prices anyway? And what's wrong with a real life example? No, seriously, that's just you whining. It's literally the same thing. Plat = chips, casino = market. Unrelated, but something else I've noticed...Argon Crystals don't seem to drop on Mercury any more. I think it was the Arc Traps, oddly. But I would rather have my maxed vitality back please I don't know why i lost it after the last hotfix or at least a way to make another one on DE's dime since it was DE's hotfix that basically took it from me.
