I know the main design is still there, but surely this cannot be the same model we saw in the reveal, head or no. This one reminds me so much more of Zerg and the Covenant aliens from Halo. The color affects his abilities, each color playing a different role. However it would fit the D&D chromatic dragon inspiration- It isn't energy color because his color scheme is the same as before, even inside the energy holes in his legs. I understand the thought process there and its quite reasonable. But I also know we are looking at something that could very well be a work in progress in some regards. Just as his tail was not there...then it was there...things may not be entirely clear yet. Him changing based on power used is totally a good theory too.
