I loved the design even when I thought he was a dragon. But seeing now that he's just a hunter that is wearing a dragon skin from a kill it is even more awesome!!! Giant salamanders are found in Japan and are a part of Japanese culture - and Tenno seem to be somewhat inspired from Japanese culture - so this is rather fitting. So yeah, it's not a beaver tail. It could be animation problems (physics) as in they did the tail seperate from the body. A wild idea is "tail accessories" might be coming. Wtf is this?
