Hey Sheldon: Why is it that Prime parts are being removed from the Void, rather than the Forma blueprints, lower tier Keys, uncommon Fusion Cores or Orokin Cells that exist only to dilute the drop pool?

 

And now I turn back to Steve and Scott:

Can you address the Warframe Powers By the Numbers data, specifically pertaining to the disproportionate use of Desecrate by Nekros players?

The sword and board is the least stamina-efficient melee for blocking, while daggers are more difficult to use in stealth (due to their short range). Are there any plans to increase their potency in what are classically and realistically their playstyles? What about giving exotic weapons (Scythes, Tonfa, etc.) a distinct purpose in gameplay, like heavy and Berserker weapons have?

 

Augments have been criticized as a way to force players to grind for bandaid fixes to problematic skills and weapons.* Do you see these complaints as justified?

* Damage-focused abilities like Psychic Bolts and Ice Wave have no scaling features without an Augment; this creates a reputation barrier to use those skills effectively in endgame.

I highly appreciate everything you guys do! the lisets look awesome! and so do all the warframes!

 

all be it i remember when the level select used to be a solar system type layout, and i think i prefer that over the current level select area. could we possibly see a new layout for level select in the future?

 

Also,

 

when it comes down to it, there are a few things it seems this community want's more than anything weapon wise in warframe.

 

i know that the community wants more puncture weapons, and i am aware of the upcoming puncture glaive, however will there be any more upcoming puncture weapons such as a rapier?

i also know that people would like to see a pump action type shotgun. could this be a consideration for future development considering the demand for one?

i was also wondering if we could get any information regarding the possibility of another PC to ps4/xbox one transfer. while i understand that it is hard to establish one in the first place i would like to know if one is being considered for the future as i am aware that alot of players (including myself) had not gotten the chance to transfer when the time orignally came

- Can you give the Community more Information about the Guides of the Lotus program?

(Sorry, I don't have a fancy introduction to this question, I just think that the Community needs some more official statements about this program and how it works^^)

 

A lot of players seem to enjoy the new 8 player Raid mission.

- Do you have any plans to release other 8 player raid mission, maybe against Corpus/Infested/Sentients too? When can we expect those new Raids?

 

Everytime the Void Trader shows up its all about the Ducats.

- Do you consider the option to include ducats in Void Missions?
(not as an endscreen-reward, more like an Item you can find in a special container or in a "Void Vault"-room?
 
- Can you give us a little hint about the next event? (when?, about what?, yadaya)
The Excalibunny is probably just around the corner ;) We saw the reveal of the "Rise of the bunny" during TennoLive 2015...this could be the next event...maybe....or maybe not?
 
and, as always:
- Any concepts about fancy or cool looking stuff like new helmets? :3

whats the progress of the animations? are they going to be like a kusirigama just like how red skittlez has talked about?

Do you guys plan to release it and its stance in the next few weeks or will we have to wait for 16.5?

any and all information about this weapon would be very much appreciated

You guys said in a previous devstream that Arcanes would be based on skills (IE the effect is procced reliably based on achievements like headshots). You said the same thing about the sigils when first mentioning the Arbiters of Hexis. How come in both case what we did was not based on skills? I'm getting tired of the bait and switch, especially with arcanes that are based on random occurrence (on top of being pricy, might I add). 

 

Second question, would you guys consider Arcanes for mods? ... Just please no more dice rolling for arcanes first.

My question is: 

 

Do you have any plans to make barehanded combat stronger, or into a melee weapon itself?
 
What I am referring to is the hand to hand combat you do during Escape/Recovery Missions when Harvester/Zanuka Hunter captures you.
 
I simply find it odd how we know how to use all of these different weapons effortlessly, but cannot fight barehanded at all.

QUESTION

Do you have any future plans for reviewing and improving the Mastery System for later, and current Content? Will you be removing or improving the system? What effect will it have on current gameplay and levels? Is there going to be a full Hard cap for Mastery (29 seems the hard cap atm, but is completely unacheiveable)

Q1: Next Raid mission?

 

Q2: On Devstream  47, it was mentioned that Arcane Enhancements can be removed from the items anytime, but currently it bound to that item which was used in the crafting. Is there any chance to change this? 

 

Q3: Any changes to Raid rewards to be less RNG? We can only get 1 arcane every 23h, and there are 16 arcane total. (not to mention each needs 10 to max out)

 

Q4: When can we expect the 3rd augment mod for the remaining warframes?

 

Q5: Underwater tileset, when?

 

Q6: On a devstream (don't remember which) there was an idea about "Sticky grenades" mod for Penta.. will we ever get that?

 

Q7: Since Parkour 2.0 is coming, can we expect some new animations/movement for Kubrows in the future?

 

Q8: Totally like the new grineer Manic. When can be expect the Riot Moa or the Juggernaut ingame?

When the Primes are in the soler systems can the Blueprint tell us where their part are in a mission and to make it rare to get a Prime drop?

This would help newer player and veteren player to find a prime part and make the Prime location change every day or week?

Weapon Balancing and Power Creep

 

Because: community says something is not strong enough or too strong. Devs buff or nerf something and community rages.

 

Question

The Real Question is How Strong are we suppose to be? What is your intent?

 

Reason Behind the Question

I think we have a max level cap of I think 9,999 but in order to play that high level content we have to play very long endless matches. Do you intend for us to go that far? If so I can argue that it takes a very long time in a mission to even play that content and we are very underpowered.

Is the design philosophy to try to have every frame viable and useful at every level of difficulty? Or is it desirable if some frames are effective at lower levels and other frames shine at higher levels?

 

I ask in comparison to how other games handle their itemization. I know frames are not exactly analogous to balancing random loot, but it's interesting to see how some games try to make everything always effective while others have items useful for leveling and items useful for end game, with the intention that people will move on from one set to the other over time, keeping things dynamic.

I have a question and a request, I was wondering, everyone going "FOCUS!!!", what is that? like a bullet time function or something (i missed a few streams btw). And my request, GIVE ME A RAPIER!!! I love the whole etiquette and lethality of a rapier and with the Dragon Nikana in my arsenal now, I'm missing a Rapier. I know the whole rapier style is out of the "style" of the game, but a thin sword with a stance resembling the fighting of a rapier swordsman (fast accurate thrusts leveled for accurate vital shots) would make me personally very happy, and add to an already great game! Ahh i also forgot an idea! Like the auras on warframes, and the stances on blades, what about bullet types? Like a extra slot (like an aura) for rifles, where it modifies the bullet (like adding an element or an effect I.E. explosive rounds) and adds more mod points.
 

Oh for anyone wanting to know what "stances" I'm referring to, google fencing matches; where they fight with foils and jab for the chest.

The whole powercreep/balance thing:

 

Is it truly hard to figure out a balance on weapons/frames? With all the legitimate input from the board and many well worded out reasons by users.... why does it not seem to happen?

 

There's much input on balance and what's 'fair' or not. So when a new frame/weapon comes out full swing/op/unfair, why is it not nipped in the bud during creation? Wouldn't it be easier to start a little lower than anticipated and give a buff instead of a nerf?

 

I know it's an older topic, but one I remember.... Mirage and all her damage with the clones. It was given via much feedback that's it's OP. So what happens? She get's an augment that gives the same ability complained about MORE power. And a frame with a similar distraction (Loki) never gets touched. His ability remains useless higher level. So I don't get it.

U16 was a pretty huge disappointment considering the Hype and you guys calling it such an ambitious update. 

 

Where is focus?

 

Where are the other new enemies? (riot moas, juggernaut, those new corpus guys you showed us awhile back)  I thought you guys were going to release all the new enemies together, but you released the Manic and nothing else. 

 

Where are the revised bosses?

 

Where is the new tile set?

 

Where are the warframe passives?

 

Why was U16 so small compared to the wait time between U15 and U16?

 

When are we getting more Archwing missions and mission types?

 

When are the changes to the void happening?

 

Will the rewards for Raids be changed to something worthwhile?

 

Why didn't Volt PA have a weapon?  It feels like you are overcharging because it has fewer items than every other PA has had. 

 

Does Sheldon Hate us?  (void drop tables and the nerf to cores and the inclusion of orokin cells in rotations)

 

Can we get an Augment exclusive mod slot already?  I know you guys said no the last time it was brought up, but it sounded like you may be willing to change your mind on that too. 

 

You have told us that you don't want the game to be a grindfest, but you keep making changes that say otherwise, care to comment?

 

Can you take another look at sentinels, they really need a survivability boost and a different way to revive them that is repeatable rather than the current regen mod.

Now that Chroma had been released, do you have any nearby plans to make quick changes/buffs to his attributes based on community feedback? We last saw this on Limbo and was affected positively by many for those changes. For example, changes that the community generally agrees DE should undertake is Spectral Scream since it is the most lackluster ability based on feedback

 

 

Speaking of Limbo. Will he get more attention? Will one be able to carry things while banished, will pickups be allowed in the rift? Will his 3rd get changed since it's not all that useful.

Are we to expect more "specialist" enemies like Manic among the hordes of Grineer and Corpus grunts in the future?
Any plans to tweak Nullifiers to be a bit more fair of an enemy, to not punish the use of semi-auto and charge weapons?
