Mastery Rank 30 "grand Master"

Once the game has enough weapons/Warframes that allow players to reach MR30 can that game be officially considered finished? Will we even get to MR30? What would be the ultimate reward for getting to that level?

There are already more ranks, up to 60 I believe. There is a temporary wall in Simaris's room the staircase keeps going beyond that to 60 or 90 I forget.

The game would need around 1000 more guns to get there though. So if anyone ever wants to they have their work cut out for them.

Mastery 30 being attainable would most definitely NOT mean the game was finished.

There are a couple things I consider interesting possibilities for a reward for completing all 30 Mastery ranks. The most obvious two in my opinion:

 

 First and foremost, I think that MR30 should award the player with the swaggest of all possible Sigils. Something truly striking. It's more important this sigil looks good then any sigil before it. I believe it should come with an interactive effect - perhaps it will give off a bright, brief flash of your color choice whenever you kill something wearing it. Doesn't matter what the interaction is, it just has to be especially fancy.

 

 Secondly, I'd consider it a cool move on DE's part to include a full set of 'Mastery Armor' as an award. In your long quest to reach the top your Tenno has achieved the highest rank a Tenno may hold - as such the Lotus should see fit to award you with a set of pretty armor to match your amazing sigil's brilliant glow. Like the Edo Prime set, it ought to have some form of visual Channeling or Kill interaction.

I'll see if I can find it but another guy ended up making a graph on how DE releases new stuff and MR. Early projections show it to be around 2018

I expect a handwritten note from DE for those who make it to MR 30, the amount of time invested to get there (if star chart 3.0 slows the Draco farm) would be high enough to show a special devotion to the game.

MR is poop imo and only goes so far

A fps mmo based on a solar system of planetary missions is mastered by max leveling all weapons and armor? thats just silly...

 

MR is yes important to a certain extent but anything after 10 is nothing more than a who has a more hats contest

I ask both DE and the player base to NOT delute the gameplay with such an idea, a players skill is not based on the amount of max level gear anyone can tell that by the mass amount of draco afk leachs

first rule of F2P and subscription based games they are not "finished" in the traditional sense and if they have things added for free post launch that doesnt mean they are still in beta. what it does mean is that the game is profitable and that it is being expanded upon so it stays profitable if the devs decided that they were "finished" then the game would die and no longer be profitable. So tell me why exactly would de or any F2P developer say that they are finished with development
