[TWW] Bug Report Megathread

Not sure if anyone has reported this yet since I really don't have the time to go through all 42 pages and read all 1k+ posts in this thread so I'm just gonna drop this here:

Every time I get a host migration on an endless defense void fissure the game crashes, 100% of the time, and I lose all relics used and obviously any prime/forma I acquired in the mission. Not sure if it happens with other endless missions though.

  • Multiple hostler issues with certain primaries (Daikyu and Synoid Gammacore notably).

Hotfix 19.0.3

Changes:
 

  • Greater Lenses can now be found through Sortie rewards in addition to Regular Lenses. Note this doesn't affect the drop chance of other items within Sorties, just the Focus Lens school of drops now has more options.

  • In an effort to help performance of our particle system, we now create fewer particles (60%) when your particle system quality is set to Low.

  • Polished aspects of Kuva Fortress Assault missions. Individual markers have been added to shootable targets during the 'destroy the targeting mechanism' phase, and added teleport action under the falling debris so players don't get stuck when it's destroyed.

  • Kuva Fortress Cache hunting has been moved to Fortress Exterminate missions as it makes more sense for the pacing of the mission demands.

  • The Zarr has received a balance pass:
      - Crit Chance increased from 10% to 15%

- Status Chance increased from 15% to 20%

- Barrage range increased from 12m to 15m

- Barrage reload time now matches Cannon reload time

- Added Punch Through to Barrage mode

- Removed Self Damage from secondary cluster bombs


 

Fixes:
 

  • Fixed several common crashes.

  • Fixed Primed Fury missing from the Codex.

  • Fixed The Codex displaying incorrect resistances for all enemies. This was just a UI bug and did not affect actual gameplay.

  • Fixed the whisker placement on Kavat heads.

  • Fixed an exploit with Relics in non-endless Fissure missions.

  • Fixed the stealth Affinity multiplier not giving you more Affinity and Focus despite it saying it is.

  • Fixed Wukong's Defy and Iron Jab having duplicate Ability Descriptions.

  • Fixed Loki's Invisibility visual effects appearing as a bubble rather than a silhouette of Loki.

  • Fixed Volt's Arrester helmet having tinting issues.

  • Fixed a confusing minimap marker in the Kuva Fortress tileset.

Riven Mod Changes:

  • Removed the "Kill Sentients without raising alarms" Unveil challenge due to impossibility with the way Lua mission spawning works.Challenge complications will be updated retroactively, in this case, the removed challenge will simply become "Kill Sentients".

  • Fixed a loss of functionality in the Arsenal when swapping configurations with Riven Mods.

  • Tweaked and removed some of the more frustrating challenges for Riven Unveliling.

  • Fixed heads while aim-gliding challenge for Riven Mods not requiring lethal headshots, they have to be kills now.

  • Fixed the ineffective jump animation that happens when attempting to jump while hitting the ground but before landing animation (which would leave you stuck in the animation and likely inside the Maw's stomach afterward)

  • Refined the targeting of the Golden Maw for the 'Transference' portion of The War Within to be more user friendly.

  • Kuva Siphon spawning has been disabled in Invasions and Void Fissure missions.

  • Refined the contrast of the Archwing Lasers in the 3rd mission of 'The War Within' to be more colourblind friendly.

  • Removed the energy drain from the Golden Maw Transference.

  • Increased the range of Operator Void Pulse.

  • Reduced the finisher range of the Golden Maw (he has less of a range to snatch you now).

  • Polished Operator movement on several animations.

  • Improved the behaviours of Teshin's Specter so it doesn't sit around doing nothing when players are off-navigation, it will instead switch immediately to ranged.

  • Fixed Orvius parts being exchanged for Ducats.

  • Fixed Kuva Siphons becoming 'frozen' by several Warframe powers, allowing for infinite farming.

  • Fixed Kuva Siphon progress being wiped during a host migration. Currently host migration will restart the event, but we are looking for 'continue' solutions.

  • Fixed viewing other player's profiles showing your own 'The War Within' alignment.

  • Fixed subtitles missing from The Worm Queen's transmissions.

  • Fixed the 'Broken Sceptre' weapon affecting respawn of Health drops in Conclave.

  • Fixed a number of crashes and game freezes related to using your Operator as MIrage and Inaros.

  • Fixed a number of crashes and game freezes related to Operator Transference.

  • Fixed issues with key bindings and Transference usage which should help players on controllers.

  • Fixed game freezes related to timing Transference usage.

Riven Mod Changes:

- Challenges that require the alarm to not be raised if levels have a permanent state of alarm such as Survival, Defense, Infested Exterminate and Interception.
- Fixed Riven Mods not having the proper names for unveiled mods.
- Riven Mods with a higher Mastery Rank than an owner's current level will now be visible to the owner as opposed to hidden.
- Riven Mods now have more information available after they have been Cycled and Unveiled so more can be deduced at a glance. This includes Mastery Rank and Item compatibility, as well as how many Cycles have occurred of a given Riven.

 

Changes:

- Operator Transference mode is now freely accepted inside Nullifier Bubbles.
- Slightly tweaked the damage allowance logic with the Teshin fight in The War Within.

Fixes:

- Fixed being unable to return to your Warframe as the Operator if you timed jumps into lethal areas of the map.
- Fixed a progression stopping issue in The War Within related to exit doors closing.
- Fixed players being unable to jump after respawning on the mountain pass.

- Fixed progression stopping issues with The War Within related to melee weapons not being equipped.
- Fixed serious spot loads/game hitches with game sessions when using Operator Transference.

- Fixed an issue where Quest progression would occur even if a mission was failed, leading to skipped parts of quests.
- Fixed Operators having poor/no zipline animations.
- Fixed issues with braid status on Kuva Siphons after a Host Migration.
- Fixed an issue with visual effects resetting when switching between the Warframe and Operator.

 

the transference bug is still there for me

Desc:When you got back to your ship with your Operator and you show your skills to Ordis there is the part when you go back to your warframe (press 5 to transference part) the screen goes white and stuck there just the music continues in the background. When I force quit the game (Alt+F4) and log back I instantly got a loading screen back to the same part and it happens again.

Happened after he alt tabbed to change TS settings and was not fixable.  We were in the middle of a raid as well...  Only button he tried to hit that worked was the T for Chat.

Hello! I have a bug I would like to bring forward for the Transference ability! I played through the quest up to the Queens' chamber, where you jump out of the ground and tell Teshin you came back for him. When the cinematic is over and the screen displays "Press 5 to use Transference", I press the key and nothing happens. Even when I changed some settings and messed around with verifying/optimizing the download cache, I still can't use the power. I'm really not sure what caused it, but another person posted about the same thing on their own topic here. Thank you for reading! :>

Kuva cloud spawns in inaccessible area on Grineer asteroid tile.

Minimap for reference.

Inside this room, you can see the cloud trapped out in this inaccessible area. Use the minimap to figure out where I'm standing. I assume collision is present back there, but it warps you back to map if you try to go out there to get it.

Siphon position for reference. It has one braid left, pointing toward me.

I still can't use Transference on my ship using a controller. I'll check later today to see if I can inside the quest though, but it'd be the same issue.

MR 11 was also broken, make it to the end and stand in the glowing finish line ring jumping up and down moving around using abilities and everything else you can think of trying to get it to register that I finished the map until the remaining 17 seconds I had from killing the targets ran out and failed the mission for the 3rd time in a row for the exact same reason.

My game had locked up on me and I missed the entire sequence with the Orokin Maws. I didn't get to make at least one choice there. Will my input this time 'round count for my meter, since it doesn't technically have an input at all currently? I want to have all of my decisions count.

For clarification. The screen froze at the first maw encounter, so I had to force close and restart the game. When I got back in, I was out of that cave and in the snow area after it with no idea wtf happened (took me a while to figure out I got new powers lol).

I have this bug where when i go to the first objective of the first mission in TWW, the animation/dialogue doesn't activate, even though this should have been fixed in the latest hotfix. Please fix this it is making me really frustrated and angry, because I really want to play the quest and unlock the rewards.

I do recall a part of the quest where nothing happened, and the camera was stuck looking at my character's face, but no NPC was talking, and nothing was happening. I suppose that's the part where I should have seen these choices. But I didn't. I actually feel pretty bad, because at the end, I picked:


 

2. I hated it (White)

3. Kill Her (Black)

4. Destroy (White)


 

And my final result was neutral. Which means the game automatically picked black for me? I don't know. It's bugging me that I can't know what that first choice would have changed. I don't even know what the conversation was about. Do I want a chance to re-do the quest? Yes. Will I get one? I doubt.


 

But it's still my obligation to report this.

Also got this (screen stuck for a while with no option to select your choice). Feels kinda sad to miss out on these little roleplay moments (especially if they might someday influence other options you get or something). Only noticed this bug by checking wiki after encountering the stuck kuva guardian bug (weapon dropped on a sloped ridge and the guardian just stood over it unable to do anything and immune to everything, just restarting client fixed this though).

The game still crashes while i try to enter any relay, and i cant play TWW 3rd quest because it crashes too.

Now it rarely gives me a box to report the bug, it's just the box that says "insuficient memory" or something.

It's so weird because i can play everything else without crashing, oh, and i have to do it all alone, because y'know, if i play with someone the game crashes.

Same here I can't use L-Ctrl. I can't do nothing but walk and jump. No void powers no nothing. I can't progress. Haven't been able to play Warframe since I activated the quest TWW. When I log in it takes me straight to the quest. The day before yesterday I tried the quest again and the powers worked. I advanced to the next stage. Yesterday I went back to the quest and brought me back where I was stuck at before with no powers just walk and jump.

I know i am not reporting a bug 

but i am just telling anyone how could not get past the second mission in TWW quest

here is what i did and it worked:

i set the graphics to the highest and disabled the virtical ... so that i can lower the frame rate (i personally made it to 50)

and it worked

then in the mission i reset everything back

i hope i helped you all

I think I've seen a variation of this bug posted but not the exact one I got:

 

If your warframe dies during the Transference animation, you will see the revive button for a split second (I was playing solo) and then you will turn into the Operator, but the game won't allow you to go back to your warframe or even die. If you die as the Operator your health just resets. I had to quit the mission because of this.
