If you're a rusher who's in it for the speedy parcour you're going to hate playing him. But if you're a real tenno, you should know how to deal with different situations and then having a defense frame in your arsenal is a must. He is the defense meta. To top it off he has AOE crowd control, AOE killing potential, armor strip, and a set of fantastic Augments to diversify your play. And he's fairly durable to boot. Aside from Freeze not really, well, doing much at all, everything else in Frost's kit is amazing and solidifies him as the staple in our current Defense meta. Can't remember the name, but too many frost players don't use it and it's really good. Ice armor is actually what it is but shields in a different form lol. You can solo a lot of mission with him. im sure there are better Frames but Frost is really good in all sort of situation, defend, crowd control and tank if you want him to be. A side note: when you cast your bubble, do it 4 times in a row as it stacks and makes it stronger and last longer. 0 PsychedelicSnake Posted October 2, 2017 Share Posted October 2, 2017 Frost, while often pushed into the Defensive Category, is actually a fairly good all-rounder. His 1st ability is a cheap-to-use single-target ability that can be modded to slow down a small patch of enemies. 2nd ability is similar to the 1st, but in a cone AOE that is useful against approaching hordes in terms of both damage and CC. His 3rd ability is very useful for protecting strategic points against ranged fire, and with proper modding can be used to slow down close-range/melee attackers that get inside.
