I just gave up all together. I had luck one time, vault opend and next objective was to escort the drone, guess what happend? Drone arrives at pickup and that was it, nothing happend. Tired of this S#&$, 9/10 bounty fails because of some bug and that one time you manage to finish it, you get some crap loot because the droprate for Gara parts is horrid and the loot table is filled with trash no one needs or wants.

All this hype for the greatest update ever and they didn't even manage to do some proper testing before releasing this broken pos.

Same problem here ... thank god i have quit my job to play Warframe. So i can do the bounty again !
Also, is it intended to fix the bottom of Gara's ult but not increase the upper side of here glass circle when on uneven terrain?

Been a bug that has been happening when I have played with a friend. Usually the vault does open when the person hosting the mission leaves the squad and causes an host migration. 

Still, it happens way too frequently to be something one could ignore. Quite annoying to come across in high level bounties that fail at the very last bit due to this bug.

I have been getting this issue off and on since plains came out. I remembered that a way to fix something like this in the past was to have the host restart their machine (was a problem with enemies spawning in LoR, if I remember correctly). I tried that for this issue and it worked.

Same happened to me, was running solo, the vault wasn't on my screen at the time when it was supposed to open, though I was no more than 30 meters away from it.

I stared the bounty run at daytime, but completed this particular objective at night, highly unlikely a factor, but I think worth mentioning.

I have had this in solo as well as grouped, the armored vehicle has been damaged as well as undamaged. Have had this at night as well as in the day.

There is also perhaps a need to move objects (such as the flood lights) that are a little too close to the control panel as they seem to cause issues with interacting with the panel at times.

I had this issue while doing a lvl 20-40 bounty with Saryn Prime, Hema, Pox, and Secura Lecta. I was using Saryn's 3 and spamming spin attacks while circling the defense point. When the time ended. I picked up the loot but the cache didnt open so I couldn't step in it so the system can register it as complete. My friend had a similar Issue while using Maim Equinox. Based on those and what others are saying. I think its an issue where the player is hitting the enclosed containers before the mission finishes and it glitches it out.

My experimence with door being stuck is Mesa on top of the vault running peacemaker as timer reaches 0.

Ran about two dozen vaults after that, jumped on top of the vault, ran peacemaker from the ground, did neither of those in the last ten seconds - door opened every time.

lucky after patch i was able to enter for 1 min on plains

and crashed and then from planet mission it work fine  to enter plains but no missions to start in plains

same after 4 min game crushed

so tired that after 1 week i was able to enter for 5 min game

win7

32 bit

4gb ram

2gb  amd radeon 5450

So, I was doing a mission for Tier 1 to try and get a Gara Chassis, and when I completed an objective that had me to open a vault - it wouldn't open, I can't enter it, and the mission would never complete. I am using a Nidus, Vacuum, and had it surrounded by Ravenous to sustain survivability. Not sure if any of that would have anything to do with it, but just incase it was important to make mention of that.

Also, was playing solo on Friends-only.

I'm just gonna make a call for this: if they remove out of the game this armored vault old mobile defense 2.0 mission everyone will be happy and nobody will miss it.

4 hotfixes or so and this thing only gets worse and worse. A thing that I noticed to help is to get far away from the vault when it's about 10 seconds away from opening. It's either sensitive to vacuum or any aoe abilities of the frames

My friends and I had it happen on a stream last night, but the consequence was odd - while the defense was going for maybe a minute or two, a Drone Capture event popped up.

On a snap QA engineer judgment, I would recommend investigating the flags and triggers associated with deploying events relative to the locked vaults. I think what may be happening is that the engagement of the defense phase somehow creates a situation where it ignores the end of the defense mission and wants to spawn a new mission with a new objective. 

My next best guess is that there isn't proper separation between X to activate on the panel, so it both accepts the datamass and "thinks" it already opened because it was accessed. 

Sadly I have no solid repro steps. If I could work in-engine or use an alternate profiling tool that lets me home in on those specific gameplay elements, I would maybe be able to get something a bit more concrete. Good luck DE!

I had the same problem both solo and with groups, successfully defended the vault, "enter vault" shows up, doors don't open, all enemies are fully killed and no matter how long i wait the doors never open and i can't glitch into the car to finish the quest anyway

DE is aware of the issue and is working on it, but it seems like the bug is being a horrid sneaky little thing. They're asking for any reproducable steps or EE.Logs that we can provide.

I have seen (I watched it, in my mission) there is a way around this bug using the handshake emote, though I have yet to replicate it personally.  My thought is one person has to stand slightly away from the vault facing it and start the handshake, and the second stands against the vault facing the first.  Even this won't always work, as they have to be in a position that the second person gets moved to the right location (perhaps starting it on one of the tracks for better height?)

In regards to causing it to happen, I have noticed it more often when I was playing Limbo (and rifted) or titania in razorwing mode. It is not reliable in either, but it lends credence to the theory that if someone (host? hack starter?) is in an abnormal mode (rift, flying etc) either at start or end the vault may not trigger.  This is mostly conjecture and I have only vague impressions as I have recorded no actual data on it.  Also, the frame I use has drifted and not returned to previous frames so the hotfixes may factor in to not having as many issues as ember as well.
