Not really missing it but i would prefer the wall running animation instead of the hopping. Aside from that old wall running is inferior mechanical wise to what we have now

Not sure what there is to miss about it; it was extremely clunky back then. Functionally, nothing's changed - you can still wall run in every direction and way you could before.

I prefer the aesthetic, but it didn't really work. Wall hopping UP looks stupid; wall hopping forward (left and right?) looks fine.

Yea but nothing beats wall running while deflecting bullets. That was just soo badass. The bunny hop is more functional. but still wall running would be nice in there somewhere. Even the devs have talked about trying to put it back in in some way

but we can at least agree that we can have the option to do wall running or hopping without taking it out of the game. I mean it kind of looks stupid

I once saw someone bring up the idea of having wall hops, while you are not sprinting and wall runs while sprinting. I still think that is a fairly decent idea.

I barely use wall run. Wall jump is much easier to use than wall run. The jumping animation may seem weird to some people, but if you have played Megaman X series before, you'll be fine with it.

Wall running would be cool and useful if it would be made to feel like in the Prototype games, where you simply sprint towards obstacles/walls, and the character auto-jumps over them, so it contained wall hopping and running in one smooth move.

Would be cool to have that, I doubt it'll happen, though.

yeah I understand but having a animation that is like that is pretty dumb. Due to the fact that it is a ninja game, you don't see ninjas skipping on walls to the sunset

I wasn't around for Parkour 1.0, but coming from Titanfall 2 and having seen some footage of Parkour 1.0, I much prefer the wallrunning animation for sideways movement compared to the current wall jumping/latching

I would prefer a completely different acrobatics style instead of the durned parkour. Something akin to Prince of Persia Warrior Within - along those lines. I'm tired of the constant need to jump-roll-jump-slide-roll-jumping to move quickly and of the wall-hopping too. But most of all I'm bitter about the unnatural gravity and inertia, which make our warframes float in the air like balloons.
