quit?

So I am playing warframe for 100 days now and in MR12 halfway to get to MR13 and have looots of frames (like ember.loki.nezha,wukong,zephyr,euinox,frost,nekros etc etc)

I total have of around 20 frames I guess and waiting some days for market to get out of stock for maiaming strike and argon scope to sell them for a nice price but I am now seeing myself as less and less playing everyday.

I am playing games like paladins,subnautica,stick fight the game but I love warframe soooo much and really do not want to uit but........................

There is no other stuff to do right now, just level up things for MR until I get MR13 for the tigris prime and galatine prime and anything else cool sutff but I hate spending my whole time just leveling up my weapons and frames all the time.

I am bored of raids no new missions,Umbra keeps delaying every time (that new room also needs lots of plats to get wasted on etc etc) all these things just stops me from playing it.

SHOULD I QUIT.

Take a break.

I do this once every few months or so, when it stars to get boring or frustrating or when I simpy burn out.
After a several months break, Warframe feels fresh (oh dear, I missed that movement so much) and exciting (yay! new quest! new frames! new weapons!) again.

You are burned out my friend, take a break like i do, log back on next PA, get the next PA, and leave again for few months just like i do. The game is repetitive, sadly thats the truth, you get new stuff you lvl up that stuff, done, repeat.

not sure if this helps but ill just leave this here

in February 2018 im playing for 5 years with no real breaks inbetween
my playtime is above 5960 hours (in game playtime not this steam crap)
I'm currently mr 25 with all the weapons and frames in this game, no exceptions
with giant stockpiles of resources
and there is still stuff for me to do
stuff that i enjoy

starting with the general gameplay or the artwork even tho i have seen everything a few thousand times i still love it
my clan mates are great
seeing new players join and slowly grow and improving is amazing
being asked for help and being able to know stuff is a nice thing
i although love to do stupid challenges like "lets do the sorties with a loadout of your choice but maximum 2 mods per item"
to easy? do it solo and race someone to see who can do it faster
and sometimes just sitting in teamspeak or discord and farming the same mission over and over and over again for no other reason than the fact that we can

i met so many great friends in warframe
people id never even approach in real life
and before i knew it I'm sharing a hotel room with them for the tennocon
all this and all the people keep the game interesting
and I'm pretty sure if i look at this post in 5 minutes i can think about more stuff that i like

my recommendation is try to find people that you like to spent time with
and at that point it doesn't matter anymore which game your playing
sometimes a break can be the best decision that's something only you can decide
if you want to take a break that's fine just do yourself the favor and don't shut the door forever
keep your account with all the items and everything you got
or take no break and stay with us and try to find new people with new challenges

I mean change. As in figure out what it is you are doing to make you want to quit, and stop doing it. The plat cost is not a thing that should make you want to quit. Why do you need the new personal quarters stuff? Consider it as a goal, work towards getting it. Make one trade each day, and you’ll get it quickly.

 

Did you farm the acolyte event? You are more than likely feeling burnt out and annoyed. The drops were terrible, most of the acolytes were a waste of time. And you very rarely got something worth all the trouble. You are not alone in feeling kind of ripped off after this event. Take a break for the appropriate amount of time (change = stop playing). Come back when you want to. Login everyday for the daily login if you care about the login rewards.

You are feeling burned out and with nothing to do in the game. Welcome to the end game!!

Just play when you feel like it. I myself somedays only play 1 mission if I play at all, before going to Stellaris. Sometimes it happens, somedays you just want to pick something out of meta and have fun, and somedays you just login for the reward and quit before a full minute has passed

My sugestion if to at least keep login in for the rewards, if on that day you don't feel like playing, play something else. If you feel like playing, try something new inside the game, something different, like, choose a random warframe and weapons before looking at the sorties and go do them solo with whatever you chose beforehand. Hopefully it will not be the optimal choice and you will have something different than what you are used to to do in the game

If you are not feeling the game right now, forcing yourself will only make it get worse. Don't quit the game, but don't force yourself to play it if you don't really want to

I now just log in to get daily login reward and do sortie, then quit and play something else.

The best answer in this thread what Weidro wrote and that is very useful. If you feel you need break sometimes then do it but never burn the bridges and always keep a point where you can begin - continue everything. I am playing this game from the open beta beginning and I manage a lot of alt accs and have friend in every places and there is a lot to do but sometimes I take 2-3 day rests but otherwise I am pretty much active on this game and I like it. I contributed a lot into this game which hopefully can help to make a better game but for sure the game is repetitive with lack of options yet no matter it pasts 5 + some year the game still can be very fun or total burn out if you are not that kind who like it. If you enjoy the game then there is no reason to leave.

Everyone have a purpose on warframe if yours was just this then take a break from the game for a while and come back later I myself still have a goal even tho I'm 4 years on the game :p

Similar thing happened to me too. I was about your MR when i tough there was nothing to do. I took a 3 month break, and when i came back i was so happy i could experience the smooth gameplay of warframe again. Honestly the gameplay is the main reason why i regularly play warframe. Just putting on some music and play survival for an hour or more. 

Other than that warframe has loads to do, from getting every weapon in the game, fully forma-ing the ones you like, forma-ing the frames you like for multiple different builds, farming for primes and than selling them to buy cosmetics... a lot of things to do if you are the kind of person that doesn't mind the grind that much.

Also i forgot to mention that there is a lot to learn in warframe. Even after a year and a half of playing the game i learn something new every month. Also the lore is something you could look into to get hyped more about warframe :).

 

But like everybody above said, if you don't enjoy the game, take a break and definitely don't terminate your account so you won't regret it later.

This guy said what I was gonna say. (Except for the MR stuff and the amount of time in-game. I can only wish for all that...) Just find people you like spending time with. I've made some great friends in this game. One of them I happened to come across as a new player. I met him around the beginning of Christmas break and we kinda just hung out on the Plains fishing, mining, and basically just hanging out. But eventually, he asked a question that made me a little nervous. Or maybe I was the one that did the asking... Lol

"Ah, I love all the work they put into this. This little stream, the sunset over the mountains, just the sounds and looks of everything..." He said this while meditating on the skeleton of the Sentient next to a little stream.

"Uh... Well, I hate to ruin it for you, but... You know what you're sitting on, right?" I asked.

"Just an interesting rock formation or some kind of alien ship that crashed." He said casually. He brushed the question off.

"He knows nothing... XD" I thought to myself.

"I hate to break it to you, but you are dreadfully wrong, my friend." I said. 

"Oh? Explain." He said.

"It involves the absolute biggest spoiler in the game. You won't get it until [Natah] and [The Second Dream]. I won't spoil it unless you absolutely want me to."

At this point, the sirens began to wail. I kinda freaked out, I'll admit, because when the Teralyst came out, he would have a pretty big spoiler. He hadn't stayed around long enough to see one whenever the Lotus had told him to go back. So I escorted him back to Cetus. I haven't seen him much since. He's been climbing the MR ranks, and since he's MR 6 now, I am willing to bet he's made it to The Second Dream. Probably The War Within too. I wouldn't be surprised if he's made it to Chains of Harrow. I need to get back in touch with him. It's been a while. I enjoy hanging around with newbies alot since I can help them and watch them improve. It's a strange feeling, seeing that spark I had at the beginning. The excitement of a world of opportunities, the awe at seeing the parkour, the power of modding, the abilities of the frames, the stealth, the fighting, everything. It blew me away, but the spark died out as I became more advanced and understood it better. But the spark is still in the new players, and that is what keeps me going the most.

Whenever i feel a burnout i Just take a couple of weeks off warframe as a break until new content gets released or I just feel like getting back into the game. There's no need to quit the game completely
