  1. She's hardly irrelevant. She's just clunky. Something they can fix with animation tweaks. Well of Life is an instant Helmith. Status immunity doesn't really matter when you're giving the group flat DR. Link needs more targets. The rest is just duration issues. If you invest heavily into her it's not even that bad but obviously could be better. I do agree Champion's Blessing should be a universal Crit buff. She's actually pretty solid as melee. I use Cast Speed Shards on a lot of frames personally.
  2. I feel the time has passed where things like Venom Dose, Shock Trooper and similar buffs have any value in mixing with Weapon mod Element loadouts. They used to be great to ramping up Corrosive proc weight but now that most status effects are capped. They're more a hindrance. Frost's Freeze Force is a great example of just how bad. These buffs can still apply additive but not mix with current weapon elements. I think this will add a lot more interesting options for Arcane setups as a bonus. EDIT: Oh and Cold status should really be a multiplicative bonus. Not Additive.
  3. The reduction doesn't change based on level or Normal Vs SP. A lvl 200 SP Gunner will end at roughly 300 Armor instead of 100. It makes a difference but so does IPS weight or base elemental. It's cool CP helps Armor Strip abilities but I don't se much gain in kill speed. Casting animation, energy cost, etc. You can just shoot. I already mentioned Alloy and my point of mentioning that Puncture should get Heat's Armor reduction was for versatility. Making Cold multiplicative instead of additive and also being able to use Electric. sounds fun doesn't it? You were just saying a Tau Emerald is never better but it often can be. Viral is just way too strong. I mentioned this on the Nourish nerf Topic. I don't take it for energy gains. I take it for Corrosive + Viral + Heat. Players used to think old Viral was too strong comically. I could discuss the new scuffed status system all day but in the end this is about Aura mods and their questionable design / value.
  4. I would kinda argue the opposite on Armor Strip abilities. It's cool CP stacks well with them but outside Pillage. Most are small in radius. Emerald Shards kinda just ruined them but that's my opinion. Obviously you can still build around Armor strip like I did back in the day when enemy Defense scaled. I got around to doing the math for this though. For this example I used an even IPS spread because it does come into play. With a single Tau Emerald Shard and Heat status at 13 Corrosive Procs. As I mentioned in the previous post the results can vary. Puncture weight. How long the enemy stays alive for Heat DoTs, etc. The result don't really change much with level though since armor soft caps. If you're using a higher weight Puncture or pure Elemental weapon then you'll get an even greater difference at 1% Armor.
  5. The Grineer Asteroid tilset I'd be fine with just some texture updates. I don't really care for big open tilsets like Lua which is just a ton of empty rooms to jump through. I miss the old Corpus aesthetic and think they could have kept it and just updated it. It's too bright now. Corpus Ice Outpost could just use some texture updates. Not to be confused with Ice Planet/Crashed Ship. There's actually room to add some. Output is both Pluto and Venus. Asteroid is Saturn, Sedna and Mercury. I like Sealab despite it's short comings. It's unique to the game. Ceres has always been an old favorite.
  6. My Retort: I already mentioned I'm not really talking about "player created content" I was just joking with the Rhino. The game itself has just moved on from it's roots in atmosphere and mood. I have seen parts where they bring it back for a bit but that's just it. It's only for moments. Warframe 1999 is more kin to the Warframe I remember since the game was literally spawned from Dark Sector anyways. Players doing silly stuff with the tools their given is fine and shows good diversity in the fashion options we've been given. DE adding it to the game just for LoLz is nothing story. A lot actually had to do with dangerous enemies. Infested used to be legit spooky. They were the first to become nothing but fodder. We already got those for operators =D
  7. Really. I'm surprised people buy the Voidshell stuff. The tech is cool but I like most prime/deluxe/tennogen. It kinda seems like a waste of money and resources to just have it on base frame skins. Esp the older ones. Shame tennogen seems to have died. Still missing a quality Dual Swords skin.
  8. 60/60 x2 Viral. Hunters and Bane double dips. You want the 100% Damage on enemies under half health and the status chance. Mostly all that matters. I was messing with Dread Incarnon Vs Paris the other day and despite it being heavily Slash weighted already. Hunters and Viral is just too strong. One Viral proc doing x2 damage with Bane double dip on Bleeds. Despite it being a very good bow again. Single target isn't something I pay much for these days.
  9. I think most players are just too lazy to math anymore so they just proclaim invulnerable windows as level cap. The level cap was beaten via old enemy Defense scaling back in 2015-2016. Offense cap was beaten not long after with 1.4 billion eHP. In the right group. Nearly everything level caps. Esp now that you only really need one good damage amp in the party.
  10. AoE > Single Target is pretty much the only "meta" thanks to SP x10 enemy density. Since the status system and enemy scaling changes. Nothing else matters all that much.
  11. Haha. If they wanted they could do it in 2-3 months but that's outa my pay grade. I just make individual models. I have commission requests for Tabaxi race in BG3 but Larian has been scuffing the moding scene. These are some examples of my work. Mostly DOS2 and BG3 right now. I'm a mod developer in the end. I can code, model, make VFX and similar but I'm not professional at any of it.
  12. I mentioned this in another topic where someone misplaced "Void Shell" for gloss on Volt's Deluxe. Least from what I could tell. I do some mesh, texture and 3D modeling work. By no means on a professional level. From my experience each mat and combination has to be rendered before importing it. This results in 100's if not nearing 1,000 combinations. Unless they have some nifty on-the-fly rendering system this is generally how it's done with any 3D model. Make textures, slap them to a mat, render and import. They could be using an in-house multi-layer method with a sorta "build your own mat" system but I would expect more artifact issues with that as a global system.
  13. "Rise up" - Indeed.
  14. Scavenger Auras function for their niche purpose. They function more like a band-aid now but whatever. Players keep bringing up the perk of Aura mods increasing mod capacity. This is left over from beta when Artifacts were a thing. Artifacts were very rare and did what auras do now. Auras granting capacity was compensation for removing the skill tree system which pre-dated the mod system so players could actually use a full mod loadout when Forma were introduced. It's less of a perk and more compensation for changes made to the system. You might notice guns have more config issues than melee these days. Same situation just more capacity creep had to happen. It might feel like a perk but it's just one system compensating for another to keep things working.
  15. This was why I more or less just said double Rejuv and Energy Siphon. Even though they made a newbie Aura. I know they're primary use is going to be for players who haven't done Second Dream yet and/or haven't fill out Focus or Drifter Arcanes. When you can just spam in and out of Drifter mode. Slight regen obviously loses value. It's just at their current rates. I feel it's misleading in a way for new players. After all, I can recover 300 HP every 1 second using Elevate. I don't get what prompted the change. I feel like very few people used that aura. Even I only used it under special long run situations. I do agree that auras should not be universally good and more tuned to special situations or out the box loadouts. That was the main issue with CP after all. Auras like Combat Discipline are more interesting to me.
  16. I don't think I could place a time on the change. It was gradual. DE likes to have their fun but sometimes it makes it into the game. I remember watching the Grendel preview and when they went ball form I just rolled my eyes. Like really guys? Characters are real hit and miss too. I want to throw Ordis out an air lock. I was taking a jab at Lost Ark. Immersion armor sets then some guy on a hover board in a dinosaur costume rolls up. The game is still Sci-fi obviously. It's just more bright fantasy anime sci-fi now. Even DE acknowledged the game isn't Dark Sci-fi anymore. It was one of their main promotions to Harrow's quest. Rap Tap Tap.
  17. A single Tau Emerald +3 with Heat proc drops enemy armor to 1%. CP x1 will drop it to 0.8%. This is why Emerald kinda just took the place for any use case you might have for CP. I use a single Tau as an example because it's both good and bad to fully strip armor if you're using Corrosive. You will lose damage against Ferrite and gain against Alloy. Depending on the IPS ~+30-40% total damage if you don't fully strip Ferrite thanks to damage bonus double dips. Since Corrosive has no bonus on Alloy you will gain about the same as you'd lose to Ferrite. What I'd like to see is Heat Armor reduction moved to Puncture and Puncture status moved to Impact leaving CP as a choice of not having to use Heat.
  18. 5% would be more. They've left no real alternative with weapon arcanes giving massive amounts more. Using Hornet Strike and Cascadia Flare gives you up to +700%. Rifle Amp at 27% is a 3.8% increase in damage. A group would suffer further diminishing increase. At least a group of 4 would have +20%. Don't get the hate on Holster Amp. I used it in the past and it was useful. Not just gun to gun but gun to melee. They might have made gun to melee combo more fluid but the increased holster speed still made a difference when using Quick Attack which is essentially the same thing. Maybe they could go with reload speed or something. How is increasing weak point damage for precision weapons like Snipers useless? Outside typical problems with Snipers/Bows in this game. Toxic being 25% just allows a premade group to actually be 100% resistant. Rare and unlikely but gives it an actual purpose. Noob trap is a terrible summary of why a mod is bad. I'm aware there's a lot of useless mods. They don't have to be auras though.
  19. Fashion Frame is End-Game. Would never happen. Besides the break in immersion isn't just players with silly fashion. The game itself has broken it's own immersion. This game used to be a Dark Sci-fi shooter and now it feels more korean MMO. Just needs the inflatable dinosaur suit and clown hammer. If you want a pinnacle example look no further than Zephyr Deluxe.
  20. Before. It was an issue with Armor and CP generally giving the best increase with Growing Power / Steel Charge getting some use. Now with Armor changes and belligerent weapon arcanes that grant nearly half of Chroma's damage buff it's esp slim pickings. Now you actually can't make auras like rifle/pistol amp good because arcanes are giving 400-480% additive damage. CP no longer matters because, math. So we're at Brief Respite to gimmick shield gating and Growing Power. You guys even killed Holster Speed. What could have possible prompted that? It's just a shame. This is such an easy fix. In most cases just numerical. Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun Amp - Multiplicative with different values because there isn't much choice anymore. Enemy Radar/Loot Detector - Some value in open world. Sorta. Rejuvenation/Energy Siphon - Double values. Holster Amp - Revert. Dead Eye - Adds to weak point multiplier. EMP Aura - Rework. Toxic Resistance - Add 10%. Sprint Boost - Add 10%. Physique - Rework. CP - Emerald Shard kinda took this but it would be nice to get away from Heat. You get the idea.
  21. I mean, it's not my fault they changed and built the game on a trend. Path of Exile made the same mistake. Both games lost all control over energy economy, self-sustain, positioning, AoE or even a reason to aim. You're talking about simple numerical tweaks. They can't make enemies with decent AI because there's too many. The downsides massively outweigh the upsides, if there even are any outside that power fantasy trip. Even so I've seen some games which manage to mix both by using simplistic AI for fodder and better designed enemies as the main focus thought still in less numbers. Why game eat up so much of my CPU and GPU? Hmmm.. maybe this?
  22. Because this was War's stats before when I got the Riven. The Riven is CD/MeleeDamage/Toxic/-%Impact. In the previous status system it was a very good role for Corrosive / Gas weight and pure Viral damage. Fully stripping armor was simply better than relying on Bleed and still would be if Viral status wasn't way too strong. It turned War into a pure elemental weapon with high Crit stats which is something most pure elemental weapons lacked.
  23. War is kinda decent though much like Dark Split Swords they ruined it by adding IPS. I had a War riven for years with -%Impact waiting for the disposition to go up with it being a 100% Impact weapon. Nothing can save Zakti until they remove the Self-Stagger sadly.
  24. Sobek Sybaris Marelok Twin Kohmak - Because Bronco is an utter failure. They should probably revisit their current ones also because they're either not good enough upgrades or really bad Incanon forms. Gorgon is a great example of this. I have a CC/CD Riven and it's still meh while the Incarnon shot is lucky to hit anything at all.
