Euphoria. A Gaslit type of Warframe discovered from the depths of the ocean long ago. As small and un-intimidating as she may seem, she was know to be one of the most terrifying monsters out there, a she-devil, and a boogeyman. With a demon like power and broken heart, she hides herself away from the world above, broken and conflicted. Maybe if someone were to bring her hope and a purpose, she might become one of the most powerful allies you’ll have. (May also be what you need for The New War..)
 

Back story: While fishing out in the middle of the sea, a local ostron dropped their fishing rod into the water. He dived in, tailing their rod as it spindled down, deeper into the water. There were a variety of fish, some as big as the fisher. As he was swimming, he noticed something in the water. Something.. very strange. A being of all black walking across the ocean floor, emitting bits of pieces of glass shaped smoke? White eyes, Frail body, and claw like hands. (Thrall type entity) It quickly disappeared into a nearby cave, leaving behind a small trail of its essence. The fisher followed, with not much breath left. As he entered, the water got more dense, darker, and chilly. There appeared to be a room sized air socket up above, lit by an unknown light. As he reached the surface, there appeared to be a tunnel, and on the other end of it, was a mass hive of the same entity’s the fisherman saw before. Luckily, he escaped before he could be killed, or else he wouldn’t be telling the tale. He never knew what lied in those depths, and he never wanted to know. He still sits at the edge of the ocean, fishing his heart away, still telling his tale.

Power ideas:

Haze: Euphoria emits a smokescreen into the air, causing enemies to lose sight for a short period of time, and will occasionally suffocate then. (Like a smoke grenade, but disperses with long range)

Disperse: When Euphorias Health and shields are low, she opens an inter dimensional pocket to hide herself in. Invisible to enemies and appearing as a gas cloud, it is then she climbs back out when she has been replenished of health and shields.

Hive: Euphoria congers up minions her thrall like minions from her hive. Emerging from below, they will kill enemies on sight. They are able come together in groups and attack enemies with slash damage. 

Enlarge: Draining all of her energy, Euphoria is able to size up 4x her size (Around 20 ft. or so)! Becoming a giant smoke cloud demon, she is able to kill enemies with an instant slash or crush underneath her feet. With all of her hate and anger, she becomes a devastating killing machine. (Last for about 16 sec)

Mutual: Able to phase through walls and get through wall or cracked doors nobody can get through with Disperse! Able to fly as a gas cloud as well.

Very agile, sleek, thin warframe. Bonuses for hanging on walls, slows/ stick enemies with traps or webs that also cause serious poison and debuffs, one ability makes her jump in air, dodging most bullets while maintaining excellent aim... thanks community... that spider theme got stuck in my subconscious as well.

A "Journey to The West/Monkey" set of skins for Barukh (Tripitaca), Hydroid (Sandy) and Grendel (Pigsy). Possibly with some appropriate weapon skins to go with them (Pigsy's muckrake, Sandy's polearm). Maybe a "headache sutra" headband for Wukong.

For added hilarity. A K-drive skin that turns it into the shapeshifted dragon serving as Tripitaca's horse. Or just a scrawl if you want to be less radical.

Orion: star themed warframe (I know, we're already in space) who may have aoe (starfall, comets) as well as single target nukes, and his fellow sentinel/companion Sirius; maybe something ethereal. It may be a lost orokin project made to bridle energy directly from a raw source like celestial objects; once filled, the frame has been abandoned for unknown reasons.

Alternatively, animal themed warframe, melee dedicated, who can morph into a vicious beast; may use 4 different morphs as abilites, with 4 different animal forms, with different skills (bear/tank, wolf/dps, flying for speed and evasion and one form for supporting/healing; obviously the modding would enhance one aspect over others). This one may be a grineer experiment on Earth, as i see many asking for that kind of lore.

Frist of all I think I have to apologize for all the mistakes still to come. Im from germany so english is just a minor language for me. Anyway, since Warframe has Frames themed about elements, Minds, Dimensions and so on, I'm still waiting for one Frame with a Theme that should already exist. Art. Especially the art of painting and drawing. -Xupoll. A Warframe Supporter, able to hide, buff, rescue and distract. His Abilities and capability depend on the fraction enemies and the allied Frames. Here is the idea:

Xupoll

Passive: Every holster and weapon change reload 10% of the magazine from the weapon he put away. 

1. Ability: Effigy of Beauty

Activated on a defeated Enemy, Xupoll will paint a sculpture of an martyr. The martyr is having a huge life and damage buff and deals extra damage based on his fraction (Grineer = Corrosive ; Corpus = Magnetic ; Infested = Viral ; Corrupted = Radiation ; Everything else = Gas.  The Effigy will create an small area where allied can get the bonus Damage. He will also take a short time after his death to put his self together and fight again.

 

2. Ghost in a Shell

Xupoll paints himself as an enemy and won't be recognized as an enemy by the fraction he represents anymore. He can now move around and even hack. He has a high chance of finisher attacks. Finisher deal more damage, but if other enemies were nearby, the will attack him either or flee.

 

3. Portrait

Search for a quiet place and let your vibes, feelings and life be immortalized in a Portrait. The Painting will now stay till you would die or its getting destryed by an anemy. If its alive and you are getting a final hit, the painting is getting destroyed in your position. The active Portrait will disable "Ghost in a Shell" and changes the ability to " Art of War".

2. (B) Art of War

Squeeze out the colours of the world and let the battlefield become your canvas painting. Attacks deal extra damage and puts on  paint splasher on enemies and surfaces. If an Enemy died on a splashed ground or with splashers on it, they will explode and give the killer extra damage and Proc-Chances for one of the damagetypes that Effigy would have (e. g. Infested= Viral ; so the Tenno has a 50% to 50% Chance, if he gets a buff, to get cold or toxin). This is stackable till 30% of both damage types. Hold on Effigy does killing it final in an huge gas blast and restores health to 100% of its dealt damage.

 

4. Masterpiece of the artist

Xupoll is able to copy others abilities. Activated on a another Frame, he can choose of his abilities which now work normally like it would be a solid one. (He copied the standard Stats of the ability and adapt them to his own.) If he has an active effigy, the copy will have 2% extra damage of the type that the effigy has. Hold on the ground to delete the ability. (There can always be just 1 copied.)  if Xupoll activates his abiltiy on an hostile eximus enemy, the copied his eximus buff which will now work passively. If there ist no Effigy activated, he can have another eximus buff as long as its not the same.

 

So, thanks for reading guys. I hope this idea has a chance, even if it's written in horrible english. I had this idea for weeks, cause I think the design could look like oil colours and also his effigy could look like, no idea, 12 different oil colours at the same time. Also his 4. could have a visual difference to the original.

My uniqe frame of choice would be Grineer inspired type, an amalgamation of both Tenno and Grineer tech named Eve. This femme fetale would be petite, smart, and shrewd. Dispatching her enemies with ruthless effiency. She would use dark plasma energy to annihilate her enemies or nuclear power to utterly obliterate them. This frame would also have a specialized cyborg type Kubrow hound companion to help do her dirty work. The activated pet would have abilities such as: hacking terminals and weapons array systems, attacking enemies in hand to paw combat, healing Eve/allies and draining energy from various bad guys to power up weapons/abilities of Eve/allies.

This frame was created by the Grineer Queens after they witnessed the failed atempt of the Zanuka project some years ago. The Queens had already tried and failed in their own best laid plans; to control the Tenno for their innate ability to manipulate the Void and the Orokin made Warframes, both of which they coveted more then anything else. Thinking it a good idea, the Grineer went ahead and captured many of the Corpo scientists who were part of the botched Zanuka project and put them to work. Now armed with the technological know how combined with the newly discovered Lich enhancment methods developed by their very own queens. The Grineer were able to create their own version of "the machines of old". However the Warframe proved it too was unable to be harnessed by anyone in the Grineer faction. It broke free of the Queen's control almost as if it had a mind of its own. Some would say it was Corpus sabotage, others would say the Queens were too weak to fully control the powerful suit, yet others would even dare to say that the echos of the Lotus brought it out of the darkness that consumed it.

So, my suggestion is something a Warframe with an exoskeleton, something inspired by Techpriests from Warhammer, but it's not an engineer, it's more like a support\offensive unit, that can be switched between "assault" and "defense" modes. It also has spider themes because of all the extra-arms.

Example, Techpriests from Warhammer 40k:

The whole shtick of this Warframe is utilising different abilities, that are granted by exoskeleton with a lot of arms.

First, its passive would be switching between "assault" and "defense" modes by rolling. Of course, because this Warframe is a massive chunk of metal, it can't roll, it just transforms between different states. In assault mode you sacrifice your armor for the mobility, in defense - vice-versa.

1st ability - Surgeon's Needle. One of your exoskeleton's arms is equipped with the ability to administer combat drugs. In defensive mode, you can heal yourself with painkillers, in assault - battle stimulant makes your melee attacks faster. You can't have both at the same time.

2nd ability - AoE ability, with a sweep of your exoskeleton arms in defense mode enemies become more susceptible to damage and in assault mode enemies are ragdolled.

3rd ability - in defense mode exoskeleton fires a barrage of rockets in front of you, in assault - flamers, installed in your exoskeleton, make a really shallow "circle of fire", that burns enemies.

4th ability - In defense your frame becomes a stationary turret, that can use missile launchers and flamers, also it denies enemies some radius with precision hits of your exoskeleton arms (something like Spidey's instant kill mode in Endgame), in assault mode you become full-blown spider, that uses all it's limbs for devastating and fast melee attacks, and as a bonus - can crawl walls and shoot something like zipline arrows to move around faster.

Her name "Asaya" is derived from the African Earth Goddess of Fertility "Asase Ya". She is a spring-themed warframe.

Her moves are meant to be more of a jack of all trades, and she's not supposed to be particularly strong in any area, but she can damage and heal.

1. Sprout: Plant a seed in the ground any enemy that walks within range gains a viral proc (this could change to another type of damage if with the new changes this is too op). This is on a timer, base time is 10 seconds and is effected by duration.

2. Petal Dance: An AoE that damages nearby enemies and gives you bonus % of damage depending on how many enemies you hit.

3. Pollen: Spreading Pollen on enemies puts then to sleep, and increases the range of sprout if done within a certain range of sprouts initial radius. Base sleep time is 3 seconds and can increase with duration.

4. April Showers: Summons a storm that heals allies within the radius, and can do a little electric damage to enemies. When cast while standing within the Sprout radius, it resets the timer of Sprout. April Showers drains energy while active.

At max rank she has 375 health, 200 shields, 275 energy, 100 armour, 1.1 sprint.

First i need to sorry about how terrible my English is.

Icarus

Background

Icarus used to be a testing warframe which still had some of the memory of being one of the most strong warrior of the orokin.  

In one of test, this warframe was added a testing archwing and thrown to the battle fields of the orokin and sentient.  Due to the first time the operator tried to control a warframe with archwing, Icarus crashed into enemies and was almost captured by the sentient. Just before they tried to grab Icarus, the operator 'disconnected' to Icarus because orokin force it in order to protect the Tenno .

Icarus was full of fury for the first time. Its honor and power was dedicated to orokin. He even gave his own body to become a warframe and got control by others. It thought that orokin abandon him. Icarus flew into the sky with everything it've got. However, its archwing wasn't under a high tempreture until he almost reach the sun.

Icarus fell. The archwing and the warframe itself was burnt by the sun but it was still alive. The parts fell to an asteroid with no one knew. Many years past. It was always trapped on this asteroid and not a single creature found him. The feelings of being abandon and without freedom were slowly turned into a power called Fury. He hoped to be free. He hoped to revenge. 

Fury reconstructed its body and gave it the ability to form the things he want with fury. the first thing came to its mind is a chain, a chain of its anger. It is not a testing warframe anymore. It got a signal from a tenno far from the orokin: they are planning to strike the orokin. Fury was all around its body. It threw away the parts of the archwing. Fury created a wing for him, and pushed Icarus back to the orokin.

Then, the Tenno saw it. Warframe with chains of anger and wing of blade. That is ICARUS.

 

Ability

Passive: Icarus is formed by anger. It has no energy, shield or health. Instead,  'Fury' is replaced the 3 above. 'Fury' increases time by time and decrease by taking damage or using Abilities. However, When 'Fury' drops to 5% of the Max Fury, Icarus will be not able to use Abilities. When 'Fury' drops to 0, Icarus will die. Mods or Buffs that affect energy, ability power, shield and health are also affecting 'Fury' .

Ability 1 : 0s cooldown. Icarus may charge its weapon using its own Fury to strengthen his next attack. Every this ability is used, 5% of the Max Fury is consumed. The damage of the weapon would be added (weapon damage x Value of Fury / 1000) of slash damage. if enemy is affected by Chain Of Anger, the added damage due to it will become true damage.

Ability 2::10s cooldown. Icarus unleash Chain Of Anger from his body with 10% of Max Fury. Enemies( maximum is value of Fury / 5) will be chain up and share value of Fury% of damage. Each of the enemy is chained will give Icarus 0.2% of its Max Fury each second. If one of them is dead or until 20 seconds, the others will be unchain and takes (affected by ability power) of damage.

Ability 3: 2s cooldown. 2% of  Max Fury is formed to a javelins and smash to the front of Icarus, deals (Base on ability power and value of Fury) of damage. If Chain Of Anger exist nearby, enemy hit by the javelins will also chain up.

Ability 4: 20s cooldown. Icarus uses up all its Fury to unleash all its power. Fury creates thousands of blades and rises up Icarus to the mid air. Icarus become immortal for 1-2 second and slash all the enemy in the range, deal (base on ability power and value of Fury) of true damage. Then he regain 5% of its Max Fury, steal 1% of its Max Fury from each enemy with Chain Of Anger it slash, and decrease 1s of cooldown to all its ability from each enemy it kills.

The operator of the warframe was always the distraction. He tended to do funny pranks and have a good time in the past. He used his warframe not for fighting but for being a distraction for his friends. He would run in and dance around the battlefield attracting the attention of all the enemies. His allies would use the opportunity to rescue any survivors or assassinate any necessary targets. When all was said in done, he would run off and vanish leaving only the trace of death left by his fellow tenno. As for himself, he took the time to revel in his victory of being helpful to his friends. As they sat around thinking of what next, he came up with new ways of being useful. These days, after the old war and recent events, he uses his power, not for a good laugh, but for his friends and to protect everything he now holds dear. He arms his warframe and prepares to charge in ahead of those he is with, knowing that as long as he is able to do his part and be the distraction, his fellow tenno could help secure a brighter future.

 

I would think a really cool theme would be someone who dances around the battlefield in the sense of being a distraction. His original operator was very playful and tended to be a class clown personality. The warframe reflects that theme and he runs around taunting in enemies causing them to fight him while allies are able to do what they need to. He closes in on an area and is able to attract all the attention and the more he effects the more his allies can do. He can be somewhat tanky while also supporting allies. I am not sure what else to put here since this is my firs time posting anything but I think this could be a really neat idea because we have Loki as a trickster but no real warframe that focuses on being a distraction for the team and helping buff allies while they can get the entire focus off of a teammate so they can revive someone.

So this is an idea a friend and I had back in November for a Warframe based around stealth and infiltration that uses possession to achieve its goals. 

Before we go any further, I'd like to note that all concept and artwork in this post was done by us: yairsarig and Shlano.

Dybbuk - The Possessor

During the great war, many Warframes were created. First came the prototypes. Then, as the creators grew bolder and surer of their craft, the elemental Warframes arrived. By the end, leftover fragments and lost pieces of the mechanical wonders were spread far and wide, dotting the stars with treasures.

And then the war ended, and from the lost fragments, DYBBUK was formed. A Warframe out of time and out of place with no sense of self, DYBBUK utilizes parts and pieces from his brothers and enemies alike to fuel his abilities.

Background

DYBBUK was created to be a very versatile frame. It’s important to note that Dybbuk is built from pieces of other Warframes and uses those as his “husk”. When his abilities activate, he will leave this cobbled body behind and reform it when his abilities effects end. His abilities lend themselves to stealth as easily as defense. This powerhouse of a Warframe uses his enemies and friends alike in unique ways to change the way you play the game and to give you a completely new experience. From doing stealth missions in a way more akin to stealth games like THIEF to a different take on wall latching and dashing that is not dissimilar to SPIDERMAN walking on walls. Of course, you can choose to play this Warframe in the tankiest way possible and enjoy him to your heart’s content.

Abilities

Passive Ability: DYBBUK leaves a trail of corrosive energy behind him. the trail can be no longer then 10 feet.

1. Dislocate

Dybbuk dashes through his opponent, stealing a limb or a piece of armor from an enemy and healing himself, while leaving the enemy drenched in corrosive damage. Each limb stolen from enemies adds to the Paradigm Stacks used to fuel his abilities.

Ability base stats: 1 stack added to your paradigm counter. For every enemy you pass through using this ability. Every enemy you pass through using this ability suffers from base of 100 corrosive damage per second for 3 seconds.

2. Overcome

Dybbuk leaves his husk and launches himself into a chosen enemy, borrowing deep into them and taking over its body and spirit, making it his own while simultaneously leeching their life force. While dybbuk possesses a host he will heal a base of 9 health per second.

Using this ability allows Dybbuk to go unnoticed in any level. While inhabiting a body, Dybbuk is immune to detection by enemies, traps, or lasers as long as he does not perform any hostile action. Performing such actions will throw Dybbuk out of his current host immediately and leave the host with corrosive damage.

Using this ability while in a host will make Dybbuk jump to the closest host and leave the original host with corrosive damage.

Using this ability on walls or surfaces allows Dybbuk to latch onto them and stick or even move on walls or even ceilings unimpeded.

Ability base stats: 35 energy drain when activating the ability, 3 energy drain per second while using the ability and 15 energy drain when jumping to a new host. IMPORTANT NOTE: PARADIGM

To understand the next two abilities, we first need to address the PARADIGM.

So what is it? Just like exalted weapons, the Paradigm appears in your arsenal as its own tab. Unlike exalted weapons, it contains only 4 places to place things divided in the following way:

a. 3 slots for mods marked to activate when the third ability activates with 10/20/30 paradigm stacks.

b. 1 slot for a chosen Warframe blueprint to assist with the 4th ability.

Ok, now we can move forward.

 

3. Corrupted Armory

Charge your weapon with primal energy from your Paradigm by expanding Paradigm Stacks. For every 10 stacks expended you paradigm will activate one of your chosen paradigm bonuses. The bonuses are subject to energy drain.

So in essence you put 3 modes in your Paradigm. These mods can be anything, even if already used on your primary or secondary but the Paradigm itself cannot contain any duplicates. Once you activate the ability, if you have 10-19 stacks you’ll get the first stack bonus only and only one mod will activate. 20-29 stacks will get you 2 bonus Paradigm mods and 30 and above will give you all the Paradigm bonuses while using your selected weapon.

Note that any and all weapon mods (with the exception of Rivens) can be placed in the PARADIGM, so if you want one mod for melee and two for your primary weapon - it’s left up to you, making Corrupted Armory the most versatile weapon enhancement in the game.

4.Adaptive Absorption

Calling on the power of soulless Warframe fragments, Dybbuk projects an imperfect imitation of their abilities. All imitated abilities gain corrosive damage.

To use this ability you have to place a Warframe part blueprint in your Paradigm. Placing the right part is important as every Warframe ability is tied to a specific part like so:

  • Warframe BLUEPRINT - 1st power
  • Chassis blueprint - 2nd power.
  • Systems blueprint - 3rd power.
  • Neuroptics blueprint - 4th power.

Example: If you want to use Dybbuk version of Frosts’ globe you’ll need to place a Frost Systems blueprint in the Paradigm to activate it, which will result in Dybbuk having a corrosive globe as his 4th ability.

Player can hold down the 4th ability key for 5 consecutive seconds to disable his Paradigm Warframe piece in order to gain a huge one time corrosive buff that lasts for 90 seconds. If activated, this Sacrifice will render Dybbuk 4th ability useless for the rest of the mission.

Please note: activating the 4th ability in that way does not destroy the warframe part in the PARADIGM. the part, and associated power will be enabled for normal use again at the begining of your next mission.

This is Gera. The tracker. The hunter. The lancer."

This idea would be a mixture of monster Hunter and acrobatic spear fighter, changing the effects of their attacks based on the type of enemy they are fighting. They could use an exalted spear weapon imbued with different elements to adapt quickly to the fight. It could reward player knowledge of different enemy archetypes and what's good against what.

Finally, yes, this frame in my head would be a mix between Geralt of Rivia and Oberyn Martell. :)

My idea for a warframe is not complete, but I would like to share it anyways. Some would argue we already have a dragon warframe, but to me Chroma is a knight wearing a dragon. I want a dragon/half warframe. Abilities, name and lore can be changed to fit better in the game as needed. most of everything I put down are ideas that could fit the theme I'm trying to suggest.

Tiamat

Mother of Dragons

Female warframe with dragon minions, Has a long tail with a functional use, decent sized health and armor, low shields.

Passive

Active dragons gives bonuses per dragon to Tiamat and nearby allies. Dragons have their own buff radius so party are not only restricted to staying close to Tiamat.

Ability 1

Bite

Tap: Bite the target and restore health, gain additional health over time for a short time. Target takes slash and poison damage over time.(infection from the bite)

Breath of Fire

Hold: Breath fire/poison/gas dealing decent damage to targets in front of Tiamat, damage increase slowly over time the longer the breath is maintained.

Ability 2

Dragon Sweep
Knock down nearby enemies with her tail, stripping armor. Foes knocked down take additional damage from active dragon minions.


Ability 3

Whelp Call

Summon multiple dragon whelps to crowd control nearby foes, effected targets take slashing damage over time. If effected targets die, whelps move to next nearest target. Time based pets.

Ability 4

Dragon Guardian

Summon a dragon companion, replaces existing companion while it is out. Dragon companion breathes fire/poison/gas, mauls nearby targets, and taunts. Using the ability again dismisses the dragon.

A cartographer warframe. A scholar, a student of the paths of the celestial bodies. In my mind, it should have an almost steampunk aesthetic, complemented by fabric that looks almost like parchment patterned with star charts. Prospective name: Lapis.

I am curious to see what you can do with a modular frame.

The theme will be "disability turned superability". Losing one sence hightens the others etc.

A frame that has lost an arm, instead can choose between 3 "arms" in the Arsenal or an ability can rotate between different modes. Bombardment, cc, movement, shield (holding physical shield) maybe.

The story can be a lost bet and a lost arm but the frame kept his honor in the face of defeat, lost in the end but always remembered for their high morals and honor. The one who won that bet is since long forgotten to give it a cool punchline 🤗

This could be pretty cool. I wonder if there is a way to make him almost entirely a vapor (or nanobots), and instead of drooping he sort of dissipates, maybe everything but his helmet. he could have an ability that makes him look like a ghastly from Poke'mon or lost soul from Doom.

A game about Space ninjas; played completely in space absolutely needs a warframe based on the most important of the forces of nature (atleast if u wanna space-fare) - 

GRAVITY

Specifically a frame which can control and manipulate gravity at a quantum level. this is the most important interactions of the 4 present in nature, and only one still isnt represented in game. also a game involcing spaccefare, can not no contain gravity manipulation of some sort; its just not done.

Type;  Hard CC and Damage

Abilities:  broadly (as abilities will be decided later in the process) the abilities will revolve around manipulating graviton. the ultimate ability can be 'void hole'  type ability in smaller scale. as for other abilities; he can be given the power of changing magnitutde of gravitational interaction, thereby either making himself lightweight to gain better mobility; or making himself/ enemies heavier thereby gaining extra armor/ sticking enemies to the ground. We can consider a equinox-esque ability sets; where the gravity master can either increase or decrease magnitude of gravitational interaction.

-Ability theme: An adaptive warframe capable of quickly mutating it's body corresponding to the situation, or mutate it's limbs and turn them into deadly weapons. Passively consumes nearby fallen enemies to use as extra armor, convert into health or empower the warframe's combat capability. No, it will not shapeshift into enemies.

-Appearance description (because i can't draw): Has controlled infestation patterns on the body. Covered with hard shells (i think the correct term is a carapace) with gaps that show the flesh beneath.
