List of all Stagger Immunity, Resistance and Recovery sources for AoE weapons

These are NOT sources for status immunity in general but ONLY for AoE weapons usage. So, if a source provides status immunity (ex. Atlas's Rumbled Augment) but you can't use weapons then it's not listed.

  • Atlas - Passive

  • Nezha - Fire Walker (When standing on fire patches) (Subsumable)
  • Gauss - Kinetic Plating
  • Titania - Spellbind (Subsumable)

  • Valkyr - Hysteria
  • Oberon - Hallowed Ground
  • Nidus - Parasitic Link
  • Inaros - Negation Swarm Augment
  • Nekros - Shield of Shadows Augment
  • Frost - Icy Avalanche Augment
  • Ivara - Empowered Quiver Augment (Subsumable)

Honorable Mentions

  • Handspring (160% faster knockdown recovery)
  • Constitution (40% faster knockdown recovery)
  • Pain Threshold (160% faster stagger recovery)
  • Valkyr - Passive (50% faster knockdown recovery)

Dishonorable Mentions  (Rejected as impractical for AoE weapons usage)

  • Wukong - Passive
  • Harrow - Covenant (Invulnerability phase)
  • Vazarin - Protective Dash

Notes

  • Nezha's Safeguard Augment allows for Warding Halo to be cast on teammates.
  • Teammates also get status immunity when standing on Nezha's fire patches from Fire Walker.
  • Valkyr's Passive, 50% faster knockdown recovery, stacks with Handspring and Constitution for up to 250% faster recovery speed.

Ember Purifying Flames  - doesn't work on Ember self, seems like AT ALL, no status immunity

Cautious Shot - doesn't work, broken (upon some testing it looks to be broken with multishot, only if you take multishot mods off it prevents knockdown)

Hydroid Tidal Impunity - inconsistent cant be refreshed, buff UI icon is on but the effect is not present till you let it run out and recast

Pain Threshold - its for stagger, not knockdown - doesn't work

Valkyr Hysteria - it you shoot in ult it goes off, thus no protection from knockdown

Thanks. Didn't bother with Fire Walker since Warding Halo gives status immunity without any conditions but I have to add it now being a subsumed ability.

It works fine. It's just that ppl don't understand that there are 4 Stagger Ranks. Cautious just reduces the rank. Multishot obviously adds another stagger instance.

Again, there are 4 Stagger Ranks. The 3rd and 4th ranks are Knockdowns.

Again, there are 4 Stagger Ranks. The 3rd and 4th ranks are Knockdowns.

 

Go test it.  Cautious Shot only works with no multishot, with multi you just get knocked down from explosives, it doesn't reduce anything unless you want to give up half your damage and remove multishot - the mod is broken. It worked fine before with self-damage negating almost all of it, now it's effectively worthless. 

There are like couple weapons that only give you minor stagger (ie zhuge prime), but its hardly even worth wasting a slot and mod capacity to reduce.

ofc Cautious Shot doesn't work with multishot since like I said before, multishot adds at least one more instance of stagger to the same shot.

 

So DE gave us mod which costs 30k endo to max, which does not grant guaranteed stagger immunity and which forbids you from modding for multishot (which is used in every single build) ? That can't be intended

Bear in mind that this is the same DE which made the Warm Coat mod and made dedicated status chance mods which gave +15% at maximum rank.
