Popular Post [DE]CoreyOnline
Cross Platform Save Is Now Live For All Players! Click here to Connect Accounts Starting December 14, we will begin the rollout of Cross Platform Save across all available Platforms. To ensure success and stability during the launch of this highly requested feature, Cross Platform Save will be made available in staggered phases. You can check if your Account is included in the latest phase and is ready for Cross Platform Save by going to the Account Management page on Warframe.com. If you do not qualify for the active phase, please wait for our announcement that the next phase is live before checking again. We appreciate your patience while we roll out these features — our intention is to have Cross Platform Save in everyone’s hands in 2023. Cross Platform Save FAQ Cross Platform Save Feedback Sub-Forum Cross Platform Save Bug Reports Sub-Forum Cross Platform Save is an upcoming optional feature that allows you to Merge or Link your accounts to unify Warframe progress across all platforms. This allows you to use a single Warframe account across any Linked or Merged platforms (with some restrictions outlined in the FAQ below). When enabling Cross Platform Save, your Warframe accounts will automatically follow one of two paths: ONE-TIME ACCOUNT MERGING & ACCOUNT LINKING Account Merging is a one-time, irreversible method of combining Items, Customizations, Resources and Currencies across multiple accounts into a single account. The newly connected accounts will then act as a single, unified Warframe Cross Platform Save Account available to use on any platform you choose to connect via Account Management. When you Merge, you select one of your Linked accounts to be the Primary Account associated with your Mission and Quest progress. Your Resources, Arsenal, Currencies, etc. from other Secondary Accounts will be Merged into this Primary Account. The Alias and Quest progress on your Primary Account will be the same as it was before the Merge. For example, if a player has 100,000 Credits on a PC account and 100,000 Credits on an Xbox account, performing a One-Time Account Merge will combine these two accounts into one — creating a new, unified account with a combined total of 200,000 Credits that can be used on PC or Xbox. The same is true for most Resources, Items and Customizations (with limited exceptions outlined below). Only accounts created before November 24 at 2 p.m. ET that did not previously undergo a PC-to-console account migration will be eligible to Merge. If accounts are eligible for the One-Time Account Merge, they will Merge instead of Linking when you connect your Warframe accounts in the Cross Platform Save section of Account Management. Note that the One-Time Account Merge is permanent. Once a unified Warframe Cross Platform Save Account is created, you will not be able to retrieve your previous accounts as they existed before the Merge! Account Linking allows you to permanently select one Warframe account as your Primary Account. You can then link this Primary Account to Warframe accounts you own or create on additional platforms to use its Alias, progress, Items, Customizations, Resources and Currencies to any linked platform. For example, a player may mark their PC account as the Primary Account and Link it to their PlayStation account. The PC progress will permanently override the existing PlayStation account, resulting in a Warframe Cross Platform Save account that can be used on both PC and PlayStation. Note that Account Linking is permanent. Once a unified Warframe Cross Platform Save Account is created, you will no longer be able to access any Linked accounts’ progress or Inventory aside from those of the Primary Account. CONNECTING ACCOUNTS FOR CROSS PLATFORM SAVE You can check if your Account is included in the latest phase and is ready for Cross Platform Save by going to the Account Management page on warframe.com What do I need to do before connecting my Warframe accounts? You must first have or create a PC Warframe account. From there, you will be able to Link or Merge one account at a time to that PC account, turning it into a Cross Platform Save Account. Additional platforms can then be Linked or Merged to this Cross Platform Save Account, one platform at a time until all desired accounts are connected. While a PC account is a necessary component in creating a Cross Platform Save Account, you do not need to download or play Warframe on PC in order to use your Cross Platform Save Account. How many accounts can I connect? You can Link or Merge one account from each platform into your Cross Platform Save Account from Account Management. You can access your Cross Platform Save Account on any platform. This will include PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch at launch. The iOS and Android versions of Warframe will also be compatible upon their release. A confirmation popup message will confirm your accounts have been successfully Merged or Linked. You will also be able to see your Cross Platform Save Account status in your Account Management page. ELIGIBILITY FOR ONE-TIME ACCOUNT MERGE Only accounts created before November 24 at 2 p.m. ET that did not previously undergo a PC-to-console account migration will be eligible to Merge. Any Warframe account that was previously involved in a PC-to-console account migration to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch is ineligible for a One-Time Account Merge. However, these accounts can still be Linked normally and participate in Cross Platform Save. In all past account migrations, copies of the original accounts were created for the newly introduced platform. This means that any migrated account has two versions in existence. Previously these existed in separate ecosystems, but with Cross Platform Save they occupy a single Warframe ecosystem. Accounts involved in migration cannot be remerged into each other or Merged into any other account due to another version of the account and its existing inventory. While these accounts cannot be Merged, they can still take part in Account Linking. Selecting the Warframe account you wish to prioritize as your Primary Account will allow you to access it across all platforms. CROSS PLATFORM TRADING & GIFTING Tenno can trade with players on different platforms (depending on those players’ Cross Platform settings). Trading will function the same as gifting, except for trading Platinum and Regal Aya between Nintendo Switch and other platforms, which is not available. To make sure you can trade with friends or fellow Tenno across platforms, be sure you are using a Cross Platform Save Account (or PC account*) and have Cross Platform Play enabled via your in-game settings. TennoGuard 2FA is required to trade in-game items with fellow Tenno in Warframe, which can be enabled via the Account Management page. *PC accounts can automatically trade with players on other platforms — provided that both players still have Cross Platform Play enabled in their settings and that any non-PC player trading with them has a Cross Platform Save Account. Trading Variables: If Cross Platform Play is enabled & Cross Platform Save is enabled… Trade with all Cross Platform Save players. If Cross Platform Play is enabled & Cross Platform Save is disabled… PC: trade with PC and Cross Platform Save enabled players Non-PC Platforms: trade with Cross Platform Save disabled players on your platform If Cross Platform Play is disabled & Cross Platform Save is enabled… PC: trade with any PC players Non-PC Platforms: trade with Cross Platform Save enabled players on your platform If Cross Platform Play is disabled & Cross Platform Save is disabled… PC: trade with any PC players Non-PC Platforms: trade with players on your platform who also have Cross Platform Save disabled Gifting functions & limitations mirror the Trading Breakdown! Gifting will work as it always has, only now Tenno from other Platforms are eligible recipients. Access the Market. Select the item you wish to Gift. Select “Gift Item” Search for the username of the Tenno you wish to Gift. Who you are able to send Gifts to is dependent on your Cross Platform Play & Save settings. Note that you cannot trade Platinum between Nintendo Switch and other Platforms. CROSS PLATFORM SAVE EXCLUSIONS Platinum and Regal Aya purchased on Nintendo Switch will NOT be accessible on other platforms. On PC, Xbox and PlayStation, you will have a shared wallet, meaning that Platinum and Regal Aya purchased on those platforms will be available across those platforms. You may still access and spend your Nintendo Switch Platinum and Regal Aya while logged into your Warframe Cross Platform Save Account on Nintendo Switch. Any Items or Customizations purchased with the Platinum or Regal Aya will also be automatically accessible while logged in on other platforms. However, you must log in via the Nintendo Switch to spend any Platinum or Regal Aya specifically acquired on that platform. Platform-exclusive items such as the Xbox Jade items, Nintendo Switch Opal items, Amethyst Skins from Discord will NOT transfer to PlayStation during the One-Time Account Merge. In addition, PC exclusives such as the Phased Skins, Rubedo Skins, IAHGames Braton Skin and Rixty MOL skin will not be available on PlayStation. Conversely, the PlayStation-exclusive Obsidian Skins will NOT be available to use on platforms other than PlayStation. Excalibur Prime, Skana Prime and Lato Prime will be locked to PC. Quest Progress will not be merged. All Quest Progress is taken from the Primary account involved in the merge. Account Linking only maintains the progress and previously acquired Items of your Primary Account — including premium purchases. This applies to any scenario in which accounts are ineligible for a One-Time Account Merge, such as Linking two accounts created after the cutoff date. TennoGen operates uniquely in relation to Cross Platform Save. Any TennoGen purchases made before November 24 at 2 p.m. ET will transfer to any platform as a result of the One-Time Account Merge. That means the pieces that are already a part of your collection will be available to you on any platform you play on. TennoGen purchases made after November 24 at 2 p.m. ET will be affected depending on the platform it was purchased on. Steam PC purchases are available to PC, and Non-PC (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, iOS) purchases will be available across all (licensed) Non-PC platforms. To ensure that all future TennoGen transactions are informed purchases, players will now see a pop-up message outlining how their purchases will work with Cross Platform Save. i.e. Purchasing on PC “TennoGen items are unique to each platform. If you purchase or gift this item on PC, it will only be available on PC.” Our intention with these decisions is to limit the impact to TennoGen Artists, while respecting historical console purchases. For more details, refer to our TennoGen – Cross Platform Save Forum Post. ADDITIONAL CROSS PLATFORM NOTES & CHANGES Privacy Policy: minor updates have been made with the arrival of Cross Platform Save. Head to the Digital Extremes Privacy Policy for more details. One-time account Merges will only be available for a limited time: the ability to Merge will close at a later time with a one-month warning before the end date. However, Account Linking will remain available in perpetuity and will always allow for Cross Platform Save. Usernames: regardless of which account serves as your Primary Account, your in-game username will continue to reflect the platform you're currently playing on. For example, if I merge my PC account [DE]Kahl-175 and PlayStation account DEKahl175, when I'm playing on PlayStation my username will still show as DEKahl175 even if [DE]Kahl-175 is the Primary Account. Companion App: the Companion App remains compatible with Cross Platform Save enabled accounts! The user experience will not be impacted by having Cross Platform Save enabled. Conversely, no action is required if a player never enables Cross Platform Save but wants to continue using the Companion App. Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) with Cross Platform Play: PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation Tenno can voice chat together in Warframe! No action is required for Cross Platform VOIP if you have Cross Platform Play enabled! Provided players have microphones available to them, players in a Cross Platform Play squad can participate in voice chat. Cross Platform Friends, Clans, and Alliances have been live in game since October 2023! In order to participate, you must have Cross Platform Play enabled (System Options → Toggle on Cross Platform Play). Read our Cross Platform Friends & Clans / Alliances post for more information. Batch Remove for Friends is now available on Non-PC platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, iOS) Communication > Friends > Batch Remove. From here, you can remove friends who have been offline for 1 year, 6 months, 3 months, 1 month, or one week. You can opt to skip clanmates, and can input individual usernames to be skipped (i.e. friends you want to keep but who have been offline for your removal criteria). We are excited to reach this milestone in Warframe with the arrival of Cross Platform Save allowing Tenno to access their account on any Platform they choose. We will of course monitor and respond to any issues during the rollout phases. Thank you for your cooperation and feedback while we ensure the landmark new feature is working for all Tenno! ThermicTerror
I made a PC account after the cutoff date for being merge eligible because of a section on the website that said as long as one of the accounts was older than the cutoff date you would be able to merge them, it was the only listed exception to the cutoff date. That section was removed from the website when the cross-save part of it was updated last week. I had bought the largest quantity of plat on this pc account because I had recived a 50% off plat login reward and now due to that section being removed I am concered I have wasted £60. Is that exception still a thing? Will I be able to merge that pc account with my xbox account that was created well before the cutoff point? If not what should I do in this situation? Attmept to trade the plat to my xbox account before I link them? I've put the archived website link here as proof. https://web.archive.org/web/20231208232545/https://www.warframe.com/crossprogression I also have a screenshot of the section but I can't figure out how to attach it.

(XBOX)Perrrald2606
Quote Any Warframe account that was previously involved in a PC-to-console account migration to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch is ineligible for a One-Time Account Merge. However, these accounts can still be Linked normally and participate in Cross Platform Save. Does this mean both accounts are ineligible to merge with a third account, just one of them (If so which one?), or are the only ineligible to merge with each other?
Vyaldyn
Just merged my Switch account with PC. If you're asking how can you make your Xbox account primary and have that same account on all platforms, all you need to do is have that Xbox account have cross save turned on. And all of progression on that Xbox account will be on all platforms. Now. If you're asking " I have accounts on all platforms but I want Xbox account to be primary" All you need to do is merge all of those account into one "big" account. If you do that all of your progression on all of the different platforms and Xbox platform will be put onto one account. Hopefully this helps. rosenkreuzwolfe
Just curious... When it says the "progress" of the primary account is reflected across all others, does that include Operation scores? Or will those be combined from every account? It's a small thing, but I'd like to keep my scores from my PSN days if I can. Reminds me of the stuff I was actually around for on launch, like the Uranus revamp or Rathuum
