A lot of other games also do not give compensation for nerfs. And while we're on the topic, why do you feel you need compensation for a balance change? SP enemies are essentially just cannon fodder anyways. Overkilling has been a thing in this game for over half a decade now. Heavy slams are pretty low on the balance totem pole imo

This is hilarious in that Hildryn has a die hard fan base who will swear on a stack of bibles that she is completely overpowered I do agree she needs an overhaul for at least her 1st and 4th though

To answer your question: I play Saryn because I enjoy playing Saryn. It's literally that simple. Everyone has different tastes when it comes to what they personally find entertaining. I'm not a member of the outrage algorithm, but it can get rather annoying when you see a bunch of knee jerk reactions in response to knee jerk reactions. As humorous as the forums have been since Dante's release, it has only reinforced my personal viewpoint that this community is it's own worst enemy.

Helminth abilities, probably. Some (like Roar for ex.) have hefty costs attached to them. Personally I burn thru a lot of helminth resources while theorycrafting, but they don't affect me as much as much as others with less overall play time.
