The Deluxe Collection and The Proto collection Nyx has already his proto skin but still don't have his deluxe skin Volt has an proto skin but don't have an deluxe skin (before some month proto was considering deluxe but DEV cleary say their is two differnts collections recently) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They do and don't, DE doesn't seem to have a strict definition for what is and isn't a deluxe skin within their team, and the notion of proto skins as deluxes flip flops. First they flipped flopped with Volt's Proto skin, first it was called his deluxe, then they made a very clear statement that it was changed to a proto skin instead of being a deluxe, which clearly implies they don't view them as one in the same. Then at the last tennocon with the nyx skin in one panel they referred to her skin as a sign that frames could get second deluxes, while at the same time in another panel saying they were saddened excalibur didn't have a deluxe yet albeit having a proto skin, implying deluxes and proto skins yet again aren't viewed as the same thing. NovusNova Posted December 18, 2018 Share Posted December 18, 2018 Wukong deluxe has already been concepted and shown in devstream. I doubt they would suddenly say, "sorry no Wukong deluxe". The "new" Nyx deluxe concept is just another deluxe skin that's coming and opens the door for additional deluxe skins for other frames, which is nice for people who don't like the current deluxe skins. If they did, then that person would need to set all his/her social media to private instantly lest he/she be bombarded by all the Zephyr Mains screaming at him/her to work on the Deluxe skin.
