Wherever you work, there will always be those co-workers... They like criticising others to bump their own fragile ego. And monitoring other people's bathroom habits, really? I mean, what is even the point? Do you think I spend too much time, sitting on the toilet? Sure, I can cut my bathroom break in half. I'll just finish pooping at my desk. Or yours. I'll finish pooping on your desk.

Conclusion: next time she notes you took too long in the bathroom, poop on her desk.

I think I'll just buy her a years worth of proctology and urology magazines and have them delivered to her at work.

That's a mod question tbh.  I know it's legal in Canada but not sure about DE's views on it.

You want to know the worst part? That is the qualifications for a janitor.

You don't want to know what a data entry specialist needs.

It truly is.

Don't even get me started on how most modern jobs outright refuse to have any kind of training or on-boarding systems, they just drop new employees in like its freaking Fortnite and expect peak performance.

Same coworker that monitors bathroom use and comments on frequency and duration.

I run productivity reports.  If you aren't even in the top 5 for productivity, maybe you should spend less time paying attention to everyone's bathroom habits and more time doing your job.

I'm at the bottom of the top 3, if I can handle someone taking 15 minutes in the bathroom (not even notice, really) and still kick the productivity standards to the curb, she needs to shut up and work.

Is this the mysterious bathroom police I keep hearing about?

One of my teachers told us about a funny job advertisement he found. They required 10 years of experience for a programming language which was created only a few years ago. I think this sums the situation up pretty well 😁

I unironically once saw an actual posting for a custodian that needed a master's degree and 14 years of experience.

The entire job market has gone catch 22 crazy.

Ikr. Just last week I saw a general news email where three people in my company who have overwhelming experience and track record have been replaced with fresh out of college twats who need the people they replaced to tie their shoes. And how the company has gone about it is nuts, these new kids get the titles and pay while the actual work is being done by the old guard in new positions now under the direct supervision of the useful idiots.

One of these new people isn't even book smart. The reality is it's all office politics the new company president is stacking the deck with yes men so they can micromanage everything that isn't broken and refuse to look at what is broken. That however is the direction general office is going across the country sadly. One of these shmucks decided it would be a good idea to tinker with several localized automated systems and transition them to a central hub for logistical control which has over the last two weeks turned half a decade of managing data integrity at my location upside down.

Im spending around two to three hours a every other night reviewing and fixing data in system that I had gotten the same amount of work down to 30 minutes. It's been hell for my productivity.
