I'm tired of them being able to keep that stupid thing up when you have many counters in this game. And it higher level its a death beam you can't stop cause of how terrible sentients scale.

Or hide behind cover
Or use a frame that won't be killed by it
Or use Xata's Whisper to take them out quickly

- Standing directly under it.
- Moving away.
- Jumping and Airgliding
- Wall Latching
- Taking Cover

But it would be interesting if DE made it so shooting the Orb with our AMPs destroyed it.

Hide behind a tree. Usually helps me.

if it doesn't get blocked by Melees' autoblock, it probably should.

Yeah, like how shooting an AMP into a Void Angels' charge-up orb stuns them. Same mechanic, basically - shoot a Battalyst's disco ball of death to stop that attack and stun them. Would be interesting, not sure how fluidly it would play, though.

these are definitely too strong. Been using frost again and if they start spinning they shred through my bubbles. I layer my bubbles but when he spins they all pop.

My problem with the laser show is that it keeps going even after the sentient is gone.

For a lot of damage and a free energy orb if you killed it with it

Even when you kill the dude, laser is still keep rolling.
Esp bad on defense missions- so yeah, i think it should be tweaked.

Curious enough, usually is not the laser beam from those Sentients what kills me... it's their companion doing the Bayblade spinning from a km away and the game registering it's hitting me still from the other side of the map xD.

Back to the laser disco, just hide under the enemy using it and, in case of several doing the dance, go to high terrain, always works.

As far as I know those lasers behave like the ones from the orokin tilesets, absurd high fire rate of fixed damage ticks unable to be blocked, only hiding behind a wall or any other big enough solid rock/box can save your skin.

I remember the mod Adaptation showing a special icon for Tau damage, not sure if it's showed anymore or if the mod helps resisting such kind of damage. Leaving Umbra mod set for warframes aside.

Defense targets can't move under the sentients... any time success or failure of a mission depends on keeping something other than yourself alive, there are issues like this.

(Doesn't help that they rip through defenses like snow globes like wet tissue paper.)
