Illegal_Squirell
Lemme get in the train too. Frames: -Khora: Really fun to use, lack idle skills. -Yareli: Unique gameplay. You also got to see out of bound maps. -Mirage: Ball? Thrown. Enemies? Dead. Primary: -Gotva Prime: Have a cool ching, and really easy for the finger. -Trumna: A great crowd control, cool effect too. -Nataruk: Reliable. I don't care much about the secondary and melee, I guess Laetum, and Ack & Brunt is cool. Edited November 30, 2023 by Illegal_Squirell

C486
Frames: Excalibur, because starter frame. Ember because old World on Fire. And Titania, because I love flying into walls. Primary: Karak because the look and sound of it. Sobek because double barreled shotty. Scourge. Because it looks cool. Secondary: Lex. Because it looks cool. Catabolyst because Tediore guns from Borderlands were amusing to me. Magnus, because it's a slick looking sidearm. Melee: Plague Keewar, because I got one billion exp cap on it when maiming strike was a thing. Kaszas because archwing. Bo because big stick. (NSW)Greybones
Randomize, usually. There are some frames I tend to gravitate to though when unsure what I want to play, like -Mesa (first one to get Sharded) -Nyx (who I considered my Main until I stopped doing mains) -Excalibur (who was my first pick). For primaries I have favourite weapons like: -Argonak (Love the sound and versatility of ways to build) -Burston/Prime (Been a sucker for burst-fire rifles ever since the Hemlok from Titanfall) -Some kind of sniper, because I love nailing those distance shots. Maybe the Lanka(?), because it does pure Electric, which is my favourite damage type to mod for and around Secondaries are - my starting Lato (just a no-frills sidearm) - first prime Lex (precision handcannon with a chunky firing sound, yes please) - Stubba (not… entirely sure why, but there’s something I like about it) Melee is a hard one, and I think I might just go with types instead of particulars - Sparring, like the Kogake/Prime or Hirudo (because from early days I’d wanted to just kick and punch some bad guys) - Blade and whip (they got cool animations and attacks) - Sword and Shield (fan of the concept) It’s really hard to pick just a few though, since there’s every way to customise them through mods and Arcanes and whatever, every way to combine them, every scenario to bring them to, every playstyle. The ones that didn’t make it onto the list are very close runner ups, and is why I randomise to break analysis paralysis

Purely for personal reasons, I have a Kuva Tonkor myself along with the Tenet Envoy, but find I use the Envoy a lot more. I have been trying to find a reason to use the Kuva Tonkor again. Tenet Envoy's tracking doesn't fit a driveby aimgliding playstyle. With stationary playstyles, it feels too unresponsive for Navigator or a Doom rocket and too micromanagey for "WWII artillery observer". Kuva Zarr cannon mode does everything I expect from an aoe weapon. Good aoe. Good firerate. High damage. Ok ammo without crutches. That should be good news but it honestly just feels boring to me. And barrage mode just feels like a bad shotgun to me. Kuva Tonkor with ammo efficiency reminds me of Knell Prime. The bonus is disproportionate so I feel like I'm getting away with more. I also enjoy the heavy arcing in larger rooms. It's more interesting for me to guess the right trajectory than to snapfire with pinpoint accuracy or track manually. This comes down to how the weapon "feels" to you, since it falls behind the Envoy or Zarr in most functional categories.

I have simply refused to get the Kuva Zarr as I have no interest at all in it. I like the aim style of the Tenet Envoy (Making the rockets spin in circles is fun to me I guess) I will give the Tonkor another go, I feel I didn't give it a proper shake.. plus I didn't get a very good Toxin roll on it, so I would need to farm another and give it a try again.
