It is EXTREMELY poorly communicated (and not outlined at all in sign up process or FAQ page, as it does not tell you that your console account is going to become a PC account, even if you select the console account as primary). Every time someone on console signs up for cross save they are locking themselves IRREVERSIBLY out of trading with most of their friends. The only fix is for everyone in the clan to sign up for cross save, which some are not comfortable with. This honestly feels like a shady tactic to push more people to sign up whether they want to or not, because many clans will quickly have no choice. I feel especially bad for Switch main players who may be unknowingly screwing themselves out of their entire ecosystem, since they basically won't be able to trade platinum at all on their primary device (again, unless everyone they trade with signs up for cross save, which is highly unlikely). 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This makes no sense That is because there was an explicit caveat made for platinum being shared across Switch to other platforms. They replied to my ticket just stating the current rules around merging and linking and had no current plans on the switch/previous migrate with totally unlinked accounts issue. We should NOT be forced to activate cross-save to trade with friends on the same platform. What are the current bugs and limitations when trying to merge the accounts because I mainly just want the Xbox account to stay intact and the PS account to give the Xbox account Forma, Exilus Adapters, Archon Shards and Rivens. I am one of the weirdos that have been trying to put potatoes, exilus adapters, arcane adapters, incarnons and full mod builds on EVERY weapon in the game.
