Your Least Favorable Void Mission?

Wow, I almost feel bad piling on MD like this, but...

...MD is by far my least favorite. One reward for 3 defenses combines with little difficulty and long waits to make a huge bowl of boredom soup. If I have to do another T1 MD I think I might quit warframe for a month. At least give us 3 rewards! And then the keys are often quite rare, so when your *one* reward isn't what you were looking for you know it was a very expensive bowl of boredom soup.

I'd say it's a tie between Defense, Interception and Survival. Survival and Interception because the mission progresses at a set speed players can't influence except make sure the clock keeps running. Defense because you're standing around one spot protecting a stationary objective you have no real relation to.

Survival at any tier

5 minutes per reward so slow man and such a snooze fest...

Worst of all after 30+ minutes it tosses me same reward as 5-10 minutes ago.

Mobile Defense all day every day. Takes you 6 minutes to sit around and do nothing to get a forma blueprint seemingly every other mission. It gets worse when you end up on T3MD with 6 parts and a forma BP in the drop table and you've gotten 15 soma barrels, 10 Vectis stocks, 10 formas, and god knows how many other parts, and you just want some trinity systems. It's not only the most boring, but you just end up having to run it so many times more than the other missions. Honestly, every non-endless mission (excluding capture) should have at least 1 cache.

I hate Defense. I have 236 keys of defense and I've been a solo player for the majority of my game time in Warframe. So Defense just sucks because a Frost can only go so far and the sarcophagus you are protecting can only take so much at higher levels, and my anti socialism seems to have no bounds.

Every time they stick a Prime part in defense I just want to curse.

MD for sure. This game mode needs to be reworked to get closer to something like Excavations. 1 pod defended = 1 reward. Extract at 3 or keep going.

Or if it doesn't get reworked, it just needs to go.

Tough choice between Def/MobDef, but it'd have to be the latter. If they rebalanced it so that every mission has 4 terminals of, say, 3 minutes each (to make them a little less grindy while also accounting for travel time between terminals) then each terminal could be a part of the rotation: so still ~15-20 minutes for a rotation. 4 rewards instead of 1

Defense is so boring and long, it feels like shooting range. In a game with such movement system I can't stand shooting ranges.

It could be MD, but Limbo-cheese at least gives you an ability to do smth else while you're waiting you mandatory 6 minutes.

Mobile defense, because it's a tad boring. if each console had a reward for it, it would be worth it. I'm sure Ducat Farmers must be sick of doing Sabotages over and over just because of Caches. there should be one chance for each terminal, which wouldn't be unreasonable given the time it takes and the Void's tendency to give you junk.

not a fan of T4 interception either, I've done enough of that on Scrub City  Draco, and it annoys me that there's only T4, when making Interception for the other towers would free up the drop tables a bit. but no, let's ignore the real issues and go back to defending Alpha from Corrupted Bombards for the 1000th time...

everything else is fun, or at least bearable.

MD Because it limits both: where you go and who to kill.

In any other mode, you can easily go around and shoot whoever you want (maybe not in defense, but that's what squadmates are for), but MD tells you STAY HERE AND PROTECT THIS! After a few minutes, you got to the next one, during the traversal, you are limited to your secondary and melee weapons, which I dont really enjoy (melee is fine, but sometimes when using a squishy frame like Nova, you want to keep your distance). And after all that effort, you get ONE reward, ONE for doing essentially 10-15 minutes of normal defense, which is about 10 waves. I think that's about it, peace!

Mobile Defense by a landslide.

It's just boring. And turning it into one of those "protect the doofus that slowly walks out of cover into bombards operative" missions would be even worse.
You get one reward for all of that time. Oh.....and it's a timed mission -  so you just lay down some CC and wait out a clock.

Defense is next, but at least you can throw down a globe and run around freely - and you get multiple rewards. And it's not timed.

Mobile Defense.

 

Capture and Exterminate are quick and straight-forward.  these can be run in a couple minutes each once you get a group together.  However, at 1 reward per key, they tend to burn through keys quickly to get the rewards you're wanting from them.

Defense, Survival, and Interception all tend to take a fair bit of time for rewards (with a good group, Interception is probably the fastest reward cycle of these 3, but still), but as long as you can handle the enemies coming after you, you pile up the rewards from a single key.

Sabotage runs have 4 rewards each, but take longer than Capture and Exterminate due to needing to track down the caches.

Mobile Defense, like Capture and Exterminate is a single reward per key.  But where those game modes are quick, MD puts you spending several minutes defending each console (plus the time spent moving between them, getting to them, etc), which makes it not only the longest of the non-endless missions, it puts it in a time-range at which you'd have gotten 2 or even 3 rewards from the endless missions.
