Dude where are you getting Samurai frame? It is a Glassframe. It has been announced as Glassframe, all of its powers revolve around glass type projections. Was revealed glass at TennoCon 2017, few comments from Steve in recent devstreams saying he likes the helmet's "samurai esque look", but it was never explicitly stated that her entire aesthetic was inspired by that of a samurai's. Pavelord Posted October 4, 2017 Share Posted October 4, 2017 There was no voting in the DC, a lot of people have gotten angry that they don´t take their suggestions "as is", so they have made it clearer that they are asking for suggestions and is not a contest with a winner, though Silica has proposed a couple of times and a number of people agree they liked it, that just means that the DC council was a bit dry in ideas, having the most upvotes has never secure being chosen. Also, I must say I find it rather amusing that DE may not have noticed they chose a name that is very, very similar to Gaara from Naruto, who has sand powers (sand being sort of the basic form of glass). That makes it sound like it isn't worth trying get a position on the Design Council, which already sounds like a pain to get since one has to be either A. a Master or Grand Master Founder, or B. one of the lucky 25 MR5+ high quality posters with spotless records selected at the end of the month. That sounds like a lot of work just to become part of a subforum where your vote means jack S#&$ since it is basically a glorified suggestions box going by how names and augments are selected. If they had to pick a Japanese name, at least pick something better like Kagami rather than Garasu. So lame, boring, and uncreative, might as well stick to the english Glass. Shortening it to Gara is also cringe. At least Garasu is the actual Japanese word and actually means glass, unlike Gara. But then again, Garasu is about as lame as grass and sounds like it too. The phrase Ching Chong comes from Cantonese pronunciations, due to their weird English pronunciations and is used as a somehow insulting phrase to call a Chinese (not the nation but the people) If you use it to call yourself, it's somehow weird, just like a Japanese will not call him/herself as Jap. Also speaking of Chinese, I think the name Lyuli （琉璃）would be nice for a glass warframe. This word is the Chinese (and Japanese) phrase for the colorful glass used for decoration just like in the forbidden city, also this word sound nice, and fits well with fashionframe tastes →_→ I am a Chinese too, please don't call yourself Ching Chong.
