Sader
Wall clinging, it serves almost no purpose. The only time you ever really do it is by accident, or for the purposes of opening a riven. So, I pose the question, what if wall cling had no timer, would you ever use it?
Kyoresh
No.
taiiat
i already use it, sometimes. not in Combat though - it's staying still in a game about moving. but outside of Combat, it can be useful. would Macro Sliding use it without a Timer? no, but they also don't use almost anything because they can be AFK and still complete the game. Jicematoro
Yes.
KirukaChan
Yes. Even if the timer stayed, I'd be fine if I started slowly sliding down the wall like in Parkour 1.0 instead of just plummeting when the time runs out.
YUNoJump
IMO it should give some sort of evasion bonus for doing it. Currently all it does is locks you in place and gives you a vantage point at the cost of very annoying aiming. If you could confuse the enemy by jumping around and clinging to high walls and stuff, then I think the system could be very fun, as well as fitting to the theme of ninja-ing. htczed
No, there's just no advantage to it, and it's boring compared to jumping and slashing anything in your sight.
Legion-Shields
Hek yeah I'd wallcling all day! same spot...all day....
Syln
Nope but i would if they add the possibility to lock and rush enemies when you target and quick melee them (at any range) from a wall clinging.
NinthAria
I use it sometimes even with the timer.
WindigoTG
Of course not. How would I roll when clinging to a wall?
Acos
Probs. I see it coming up more often in stealth missions. If you could infini-cling though I'd want to be able to get knocked off of the wall if I take enough damage so you can't just exploit enemy AI. OoKeNnEtHoO
I actually do wall clings. I do them mid-bullet jumps to change directions when I am using melee because I will then follow through with a slam attack.
saradonin
Hey, stop giving them ideas! Don't ruin my only reason to dust off poor old Loki every time wall-latch riven drops... Edited January 9, 2018 by saradonin
Frosthaven83
I don't see much benefit to being stationary for all those mot mobs to start shooting at in general. Rolling is the real hero!
Robolaser
I like to use it, mostly because it looks cool imo. Usually the timer is not an issue, but i see no justification for it either.
Cloud
Yeah, I don't see a real purpose for wall cling except for rare situation, and frankly I don't think that this feature can be abused since every faction has units who can damage you in any position. Just take off the time limit.

Frosthaven83
Technically, in its current state, it's a self-induced mobility CC. If you want to look at it through cynical eyes.
Redfeather75
We need content to make wall latching useful. Like 'the floor is lava' stuff.
Misgenesis
I would wall cling more if there were more wide open walls and it didnt zoom in
