  1. you forgot to mention the Lich Trading Mafia. they also make much of their income off of the Vengeful ephemeras as well as high % roll Kuva/Tenet weapons, so they are huge players in the cosmetic trading market. because you forgot to mention them, you may now find yourself waking up next to a severed Kaithe head...
  2. for static clearing, that's the territory of defense-oriented frames like Frost, Vauban and Gara. we all know who the obvious picks for Defense and Excavation are. however I suppose if you were to judge based on killing efficiency alone rather than the ability to defend the objective AND kil enemies, that would change things a bit. for mobile clearing, I'd say frames Like Xaku, Equinox, Gyre and Titania: all frames that allow you to kill without having to stop moving would come out on top. for Boss Rush, I suppose frames with a weapon-buffing ability like Rhino or Chroma would be top picks, because you kill the boss quicker, and also since they are both durable enough to tank the boss' attacks. while other frames might require a bit of ducking and weaving, these frames let you just sit there and shoot if you want to. Endurance would be mainly focused on tanking loadouts, taking punishment more than giving it, which is where frames like Revenant, Hildryn and Trinity can shine. Sabotage would basically allow any loadout to be eficient if you're gonna ignore enemies, but I suppose for maximum efficiency, you'd take a frame with a speed ability, like Volt or Gauss, or again, Titania. for stealth, there's really onyl two picks, Loki and Ivara. I guess you can count Ash too, but IMO his stealth is more centred around being used for offense than sneaking, and any frame with Shade can arguably be stealth viable. unfortunatley stealth is kind of a joke in this game, and you can also Stealth perfectly well with Operator/Drifter. for multi point defense, I would argue Wisp or Protea are quite well suited to this, just as they would be in a proper Defense, because they have very helpful deployables and are quite versatile overall. in truth though, just about all of the warframes are capable of fulfilling multiple roles quite easily, the ones I listed are more like "primary" roles: where you know this frame will be great specifically for the mode you're playing, but maybe not quite as viable if say, your capture turns into an exterminate or whatever. for the vast majority of content, if you know how to use it, you can get away with just about anything, even if it's not quite built for the mode you're playing. e.g. there's no reason Excalibur can't be great at Defense, even though he only has CC and DPS abilities, you just have to make sure you keep blinding and cutting down enemies before they can start hitting the pod.

I really don't get why people end up in this situation. if you want to farm, to get something done as quickly and efficiently as possible, or to get as much of X as possible in whatever time you have, and you want to eliminate as many chances of things going wrong as possible... why in the blue void's name would you pick the ONE matchmaking option you have ZERO control over? and in the case of fissures, what the hell are you expecting when there may only be the one endless fissure available for that tier for the next 2 hours? is everybody else in the world just supposed to wait until either you've done your thing or the fissure changes so they can go somewhere else? do they HAVE to stay however long with you just because YOU want to stay, regardless of what THEY may want to do? you can look through my entire post history if you'd like, you won't see one single thread like this where I complain about randoms, because I do actually take my own advice ,and always go solo or recruit people when I'm after something specific. I wouldn't give it out if I didn't also use it, and the reason I respond to these threads is not to be snarky (even if that's how it comes across), it's to educate people, to tell them that there IS another way. it's not perfect, but it's better than getting worked up over random people on the internet not doing exactly what you want them to do.
  4. I run rage and repair and honestly i dont have many energy problems, is your mech's energy efficiency upgraded? I believe duration also helps with Voidrig's 4.
  5. I think they're fine as they are. Ammo economy in this game is perfect for 99% of weapons anyway so the advantage of rechargeable weapons is greatly diminished.
  6. to be honest, they probably should buff the login weapons, or change how they're rewarded. they've kind of fallen off over the years, and not everyone is a fan of the login system.
  7. It might happen in future , depends on which frames DE think are popular enough to warrant a voidshell skin. Hildryn should be up there IMO, but it's up to the devs to decide.
  8. depends where you put them I suppose: Grineer Planets; The Grineer see the extractor and vandalize it, damn Tenno Skoom trying to steal their resources! Corpus Planets: The Corpus see the extractor and start stripping it for parts to sell for profit. your extractors aren't damaged in this case, just partially disassembled. Infested Planets; the Hive sees your extractor and say "hey baby how you doing?" and tries to assimilate it. make sure you clean them when they get back, you don't want an outbreak on your Orbiter lol. jokes aside I've no idea, I don't really bother using extractors any more.

I've hosted railjack missions for myself for nightwave, not encountered any problems. are you sure it's not a hardware issue on your end? yep, I was there for all of this as well. for every person that wants integration, there's an equally vocal opponent to it. consensus among the community is extremely rare, but it's the only time we get stuff that WE want, as opposed to stuff that DE just wants to put in the game. what shall we do with the railjack update what shall we do with the railjack update what shall we do with the railjack update let's go on vacation! as well as this song being one hell of an earworm, and the first thing I think of when talking about Railjack's history (sorry!), I think the main reason the well is poisoned as you say, was not just because of the state of the update, but the fact that it was rushed out and DE fled the office, it honestly felt like a betrayal, and, not wanting to feel that level of resentment again, DE now acts carefully to avoid talking about anything unless it's a sure bet it'll happen. they've gone from promising the world to being overly cautious, but I would argue the latter of the two is certainly a lot healthier, for the game and the community as a whole. the well was poisoned, and the people who were supposed to clean it out and put the clean water back were nowhere to be found. that is what hurt the most at that time. I can take bugs, I can take unpolished content, but lack of communication and not taking responsibility for your mistakes, especially when you have so many fans of your game, people who genuinely love your game and your company... that's much harder to forgive IMO. that said, it's history now, and Railjack still has a lot of unrealized potential, it's just a question of whether or not DE is brave enough to realize it, and is the community willing to drink from the well again?.
  10. he is pretty great, probably my favourite of the newer frames, if you're willing to farm/buy a second Kullervo, you can get him subsumed and get a taste of that power on other frames too. pro tip: try it on Atlas, you won't regret it.

I've also played for about 8-9 years, albeit on one platform, and probably spent about the same amount of money as you in that time. that doesn't mean we get preferential treatment, even if we feel we deserve it because of our contributions to this game. you have to be realistic here, and accept that there are going to be some arbitrary gates to pad out the time and monetize parts of the game. I agree there's a fine line between what constitutes "fair" monetization practices, and what comes off as unfair, or blatant greed, but for the most part DE don't cross the line often, and on the occasions they did like with Regal Aya and the Heirloom packs, community feedback hit them like a ton of bricks and they were forced to change tactic to something less predatory. as long as they know where the line is, and we're there to keep them on the other side of it, then there's nothing to worry about. if the foundry system feels like a slap in the face, you may want to stay away from korean MMOs and Gacha games, they'll give you a heart attack.
  12. I'm sorry, people are subsuming over Mach Rush? I learned this on the same day I learned that some people throw old toothbrushes down the toilet, I swear, humanity is slowly devolving back into Amoeba. even if you aren't gonna sprint all the time, Mach Rush is the fastest way to replenish his battery. subsuming over his 1 makes a redline build worse, not better. what i'd like to see for him is an augment where Redline can be constantly active once cast but drains energy over time.
  13. this is why I always suggest players ty out other frames, you never know if you might discover a new favourite. there's also a good chance (well, 50/50) Xaku could be the next prime as well, so I think you've much to look forward too!
  14. yeah, I'm not logging out voluntarily until that issue gets fixed. even though there are a few other Glyphs I'll want to use, I'll stick with my current one, I'm not bored of it yet.
  15. Akarius. the primes especially, due to the seemingly much bigger AoE, are useless up close without Atlas or Primed Sure footed. Sonicor also staggers. since ragdoll got removed and impact damage is trash, this weapon is also basically useless now. Staticor as well I think. Corinth Alt-fire also, but it is basically a full-on grenade launcher in that mode, probably intentional. there are probably others but those were the ones I've been using recently.
  16. then you need to tell these players to get used to it, because that's how these kinds of games work; timegates, standing caps and other tactics to pad out gameplay length. it is what it is. I hope you're not under the naïve assumption that if they scrapped the foundry system, they wouldn't replace it with something else... because they would, probably something even worse. ain't no way we're getting instant craft times because the game has to be consistently monetized somehow: Prime packs and updates bring in cash but if they only relied on that there'd be down-time between updates where there'd be very little money coming in, and that could affect the quality of future releases. people need to realise there are much worse things in life than having to wait for stuff.
  17. explanations still don't mean jack. I can easily kick or be kicked for something that didn't even happen, there's no way to enforce it, so you're just asking for a box to be ticked, which doesn't make the system any more useful. while it is regrettable that you had a bad experience, if it was the person's first time, you can't expect them to keep up with you and know what to do. if they're new they probably don't know where squad chat is either, so couldn't respond until they figured out how to use it, at which point they've had to endure whatever abuse you've given them back (and they're probably wondering "why is this person mad at me?") as I always say, this is the risk you take when you go public.
  18. beams used to only be able to deal damage per second, so they were really weak. then DE changed how beam damage calculation works, and weapons like the Flux Rifle saw a huge boost in overall power, but generally speaking, an automatic weapon with a high enough fire rate and zero or near-zero recoil can do the same thigns a beam weapon can, except for special cases like chaining effects. I just wish that beam abilities like Spectral Scream, Sol Gate and Fusion Strike would be given this method as well.. Qorvex already has it on his 4, so it's all the more jarring to not see it on other frames.
  19. more like "terrible idea, worse execution". I use all frames from time to time, I pride myself on being able to do any mission with any loadout, however there are a few that I don't enjoy playing as much at all and very rarely bother to use: Yareli: for reasons mentioned above, + being tied to ventcringe, her animations and her visuals. even her lore is bad, despite the fact she actually GOT lore, more than can be said for Baruuk, Garuda etc. Octavia: I'd take her over Yareli any day but god she's boring.. a better example of cool idea, terrible execution. she came with fun weapons though. Inaros: also dreadfully boring, here's hoping Pablo's "non-drastic" rework will be enough to make him somewhat enjoyable. Trinity: Link-Tanking is fine, and as a dedicated support frame she's bound to be a less useful pick for solo, but here's a frame that for me does the same thign as Inaros; act as a durable gun platform. Caliban: I really want to like Caliban, because his theme is cool, and I think he has potential.. but he's just so mid.. I know that if he got some tweaks he'd be great. otherwise, everybody else sees missions at some point.
  20. agree with the first 3, but no to the price rises. doesn't matter how you try to dress it up, nobody wants to pay more for anything, and with enough outlets for Riven Slivers you wouldn't need to raise prices anyway.
  21. those who have everything are the minority, so it only makes sense DE will cater to others more readily. I don't have any Familial bonds and Ticker almost never sells them, so I gotta run T5 bounties constantly and hope I get lucky if I want the colour palette. ironic considering their announcement to reduce the Fortuna grind, I hope part of it will be giving Ticker all bonds available at all times to make it easier for everyone.
  22. hi, I don't suppose there might be a fix for the Protosomid Shoulder guard being invisible on PlayStation? myself and a few others have encountered this, and there are multiple reports of it on the forums. apparently it's been like this a while too. thanks as always, looking forward to the February fixes!
  23. It's a thing because people lack self control, especially when sginy things are dangled in front of them. Many People, including yourself perhaps, woul get everything ASAP and then complain there's nothing to do. I've seen people do this plenty of times over the years even WITH the caps in place, and you wanna remove them? Lol. Standing caps are a ncessary evil, like it or not they arent going anywhere.
  24. If you want to kill bad mustache man, you'll like Sniper Elite, pretty much every entry in the series lets you kill him in fun and creative ways.. But he has no place in warframe, especially if theres truth to theory tha Warframe's universe has a totally different history and culture from our own. Even in 1999, many signs had a version of Orokin Script on them, so there might never have been any world wars, and if there was, the key figures would be different people entirely

If he does get nerfed it won't surprise me, but several frames like Hildryn, Styanax etc are also pretty good at not dying, and it sedms to me that nigh immortality is intentional, or at least not worth a nerf on it's own. Its abilities snd interactions that fight for you that DE are iffy about and revenant doesn't really have that: -Enthalled enemies are susceptible to friendly fire and don't help any more than Nekros' shadows do. They arent scaled up by the player in terms of damge so they can't clear the room for you, they're just for drawing agro. -Mesmer Skin is a great ability, especially with the Augment, but YOU still have to do all the shooting and stabbing. Again, he isn't the only frame that's unkillable in most content, though I think its also worth pointing out that DE may consider countering these abilities with deactivations on being hit, like we saw with the 60 eye boss, who folded many an optimistic Revenant main lol. - Reave needs a buff if anything, and is healing all that useful on him when Mesmer Skin exists? I hvent subsumed on ny Revenant but i'm guessing either this or his 4 is what gets scrapped. - Danse Macabre can be fun, but unless you do a stupidly niche meme build, it falls off on Steel Path, or even before that. Some people probably don't even know it has 2 modes.. All in all, I think he's powerful, but doesnt seem to break the game or intrude on others, so he'll probably be left as is, but if he does get a nerf it'll be to Mesmer Skin, 100%
