The Abominable Warframe

  • About: lost corpus jackal prototype self repairs using a nearby fallen warframe. This unintentional hybrid wanders the caves and surface of Pluto, instinctively looking for more ways to sustain itself.

  • Appearance: slightly steampunkish, tattered fabrics, openings through limbs expose simplistic crude industrial hydrolics with advanced internal textures. Strong cyber spine, rusty talons/hooks on 2 protruding large jackal limbs (with 2 neatly compressed (mandables) within the rib cage) that dangle from the rear torso.

  • Special: wall-anchor exalted mode (undetectable/stealth when not moving) rotates player horizon. Wall-anchor slow (wall-crawler) mode travel (roll for quick short distance) uses 4 jackal limbs making it a facultative quadraped. This mode enables extended range finishers without leaving position--jackal limb chain-spears impale, pull in, and feed on (mulch) prey.

Having a quadrupedal Warframe would be neat. A bit quicker on their feet, and possibly even the ability to scale the environment? Having something more animalistic in nature would feel really neat for players that enjoy playing in a more "barbaric" manner.

Antheia; A vine/flower/poison type warframe. Antheia uses her vines and flowers to poison and take the life from enemies.

I wish I could post the abilities of this Warframe, but it’s stated not to do so :( If you’re curious about the ability concepts I have let me know, I’d love to share them with someone.

Shi'Tenno: Based around the Buddhist/Shinto religions Four Heavenly Kings the warframe represents each king with an ability similar to each king respectively.

The Guardian of the East boosts the strength of himself and his allies.

The Guardian of the South calls upon holy flame to cull those who dare harm their allies.

The Guardian of the West can see all and watches over those whom he calls allies.

The Guardian of the North knows all there is of his enemies and exposes them for all

A chemical-themed warframe, who has the solution for many situations.

Disable your enemies with a sleep-inducing gas.

Freeze the opposition solid with liquid nitrogen grenades.

Empower your allies with various combat drugs to maximize your team's efficiency.

Unleash the power of the elements as you combust in a nuclear reaction and vaporize your foes.

Some names to go by: Alchemist, Mendeley, Reagent.

How about a warframe from the orokin era you could have one of its abilities to summon a sentient on your side and since because the orokin were so advanced you could make it move around like umbra when in operator mode. This would allow so much more variety if executed well and would give people more options when doing 1h+ survival. It would also pair well with other warframes like limbo because they could have a sentient in limbo so anyone that gets sent there is destroyed. This little idea will allow for some many new warframe combinations and could probably make the worst warframes decent

1st theme:
Brynjar the viking frame, a frame based on the purpose of raid, kill and take.
A barbarian viking themed frame with runes to do his bidding, preferably using twin-axes.

2nd theme
Aria the bard. A frame based on the shawzin, as he strikes a single chord he can turn enemies into allies or dust

How about a darkness themed warframe and itll be like another elemental frame that sounds badass to meCommunity-Created-Warframe-Header-alt-blue.jpg

We’re calling upon the Warframe community to create the next Warframe! You can stay up-to-date on the design phases in the official Community-Designed Warframe thread.

The theme is the foundation of every Warframe’s design. Over the years, we have seen countless fantastic ideas in the Fan Concepts subforum and across the Internet. That creativity is what we’ll need to breathe life into this Warframe! Share with us a Warframe theme you’d like to see inspire the next design.

How to submit:

In this thread, share a description of a Warframe theme that you would like to see in-game!

We aren’t considering Abilities during this design phase. First, it’s all about a strong theme! Expound your idea and make it the best it can be.

Guidelines:

  • One submission per player.
  • Theme can’t be changed after it is submitted. You may edit your post to make small changes like fixing typos. "Reason for edit" will be reviewed.
  • If there are duplicate theme submissions, only the one that was first posted will be considered - we’ll be watching!
  • Theme idea must be original. Your submission can be from a post you made elsewhere as long as it’s your own!
  • Details like back stories might be altered by the Dev Team as needed to ensure consistency with Warframe’s overall design.
  • Concept art can be included in submissions but will not be considered in the final design or when selecting the final theme.
  • Do not reserve spots in this thread.
  • Only post submissions in this thread.
  • Submissions that do not follow these guidelines will not be considered.
  • Chosen submission becomes property of Digital Extremes.

We understand that we can’t avoid duplicate Warframe theme submissions, so please do your best to submit a theme that has yet to be presented, and we’ll do our best when sorting through to ensure there is a fair opportunity for all!

Selecting the Final Theme:

Call for submissions will close on Thursday, March 19 at 1:00pm ET.

After reviewing all theme submissions, the Warframe Team will choose a Top 10 to present to the Design Council!

The Design Council will then vote to determine the winning Warframe theme. Design Council voting will begin on Friday, March 20 at 1:00PM ET and run until Thursday, March 26 at 1:00PM ET.

After the Theme is Chosen:

Community artist, Eornheit will create the Warframe’s official design based on the chosen theme! Once the design is complete, we will make an open call to the community once again to design the Warframe’s Abilities. Follow each phase here!

The community-created Warframe’s name and final design will be revealed on Saturday, July 11th during the TennoCon 2020 Live Stream!

ALL PLAYERS FROM EACH PLATFORM CAN PARTICIPATE

Let us hear your Warframe ideas, Tenno!

I think a Warframe or Frames that were once the captain or crew of a Railjack would be cool. Like a Pilot or Sailor or Naval or Aviation themed frame. Obviously the abilities would need to help outside of Railjack missions, but having a Frame that is themed with the Railjack and works well on Railjack missions would be fun.

I dunno if this would go with the lore or not but here it is:

Mortis: The Executioner.

Health: 250

Shields: 175

Armor: 100

Energy: 175

During the Orokin age Mortis was an executioner who only answers to The Seven, when the Orokin slaughter began he stoop up against his fellow Tenno and even killed a few of their Warframes in order to defend the Seven, however betrayed by Ballas, Mortis was shut down and left abandoned. Found by a group of Corpus scavenging remnants of Orokin cities, Mortis was salvaged and was brought in for studies. During the research scientists triggered a nerve, reactivating Mortis who went hysterical and tried to escape the Corpus ship, the ship went onto lockdown and Mortis was trapped within, survivors within the ship reaches out to Tenno for aid

Death Sentence: Mortis rips out the soul of an enemy which causes them to go onto sleep, if Mortis performs a finisher on enemy during the duration of the ability their soul will be given to Mortis, receiving health.

Judge's Wrath: Mortis leaps onto an enemy with an hammer and slams it, dealing massive damage to the enemy and knocking back all that surround him.

The Jury: Mortis summons two spectral versions of himself. One debuffs an enemy, allowing them to recieve more damage, the other grants allies armor and health (Mortis himself included.)

Executioner's Blade: Mortis summons a glaive (the polearm not the throwing melee), attacks by pressing forward deals a thurst attack that penetrates all enemies in front of him, slam attacks causes spectral blades to come out of the floor that impales enemies, charged attack does does a 360 horizontal attack that deals damage to all around him. Finishers with this weapon guarantee death on enemies (bosses and mibosses not included)

Passive: Finishers deal twice the damage, each kill with finishers will grant Mortis damage resistance stacking up to 25% and decay by 1% every 10 seconds.

I agree! But I figured a facultative quadraped (mostly bipedal but capable of quadrapedal locomotion) would be easier for DE to make as a travel power or attack form, if they should choose.
