To what extent can Trinity restore you?

Recommended Posts

So, we all know that Trinity can restore health and energy. But to whant end. What if you're almost out of some bodily fluid. Like blood. Will the revitalization of Triniy's powers and or health/energy orbs restore body parts, such as a thumb or toe? And would the energy replenishment even have any effect on a non hi-tech being / regular human?

Remember :

  • Toxin / viral can Damage MOA / Robots
  • She can heal : living things like human, kavat / "just-infested-friend" / Infested pet or even Almost Sentient Deth Cube Machine
  • Can she heal machine ? She can heal a Dax-just-infested-cyber-augmented friend so why not the machine !?

Trinity by her name can heal your Body, Soul and Heart (Tri) ... unless you don't have one or have/have not like Papy Vor ^^

As long as you dont fall down on your butt youre good.

Ive never seen a trinity get someone off their posterior but anything else seems to work.

All joke answers aside (I quite enjoyed them) the only way to answer this question is to ask what "hit points" truly represent. Because that's what Trinity is restoring, whatever counts as your hit points. Tissue integrity? Chunks of flesh? Pain tolerance and fatigue? Blood remaining? What counts as reversible hit point loss and what counts as permanent damage?

Needless to say, it's all an abstraction. Trinity's powers definitely involve some space magic technology to generate matter from nothing (and she is far from the only person doing that) but there's still some deliberate vagueness put in to keep the game moving quickly and let the writers skirt the details

Then we have to figure out roughly how much HP a normal human has.

That one's pretty simple: a Corpus Crewman has a base HP of 60 at lvl1, and a Rescue Target has a base HP of... It's either 100 or 120 at lvl1

It's probably reasonable to say that a regular human has 100 HP. Which makes the power scaling in the WF universe very disgustingly broken.

100HP, but no armor.. see, that's the main issue, the damage reduction offered by armor, as well as the fact that Warframe flesh is "bio-ferrous", implying it is as supple as human skin but also as hard as tempered steel: Skiajati was formed from a piece of Umbra Excalibur's flesh, and swords have to be immensely strong, especially in a universe where they are getting used against armored opponents in high numbers.

healing powers always strike me as just using the void to undo the damage that's been done (maybe reversing time at the point where the wound is? or just the Void can become an amazing painkiller/repair kit?), but I doubt she can say, regrow limbs or organs for people. even so, she's an effective combat medic, excellent at keeping warframes and non-tenno allies able to fight.

TLDR: she can patch up trauma no problem, but if it's a disease or something has been removed entirely, it's most likely irreperable.

Well since she can heal pets I assume her abilities work on humans aswell. And regarding how her healing works, well she likely works the same as all other frames, by materializing matter out of the void through her specific armaments installed. So for frames and humans etc. she probably manifests new tissue that melds and bonds with the exsisting, filling in the holes. She is in the end a "medic" frame, so likely has full knowledge about the anatomy of different beings, so can materialize what is needed for each specific case. And the same applies for Nidus, Oberon and Citrine.

It could also be explained through Star Trek or Star Wars canon that have come from their games, where they use nano-bot tech in combat situations, and in Star Wars case even bacta bombs. Though I assume it is void related and created on the fly much like Gara and her crystal walls etc. that are just manifestations from the void that are possible through the specific armaments of the frame. We know the abilities are rooted in the Helminth, which decides what a frame can and cannot do.
