  1. I agree with this in essence , but the resolution lies outside the current discussion. There are far too many mechanics that work in a weird way with various things, DE has painted themselves into a corner with piling on so much multiplicative effects, A squish of the different multipliers and clear categorization of the effects to make them more consistent would be the more appropriate way.

  4. Please let me know where I have said damage is the primary reason why this exists. You seem to be projecting or confusing other comments with mine. As you are the one that keeps coming back to damage potential. And then ignore the parts where it is clearly highlighted it's not the case. If you wish to argue i recommend you do so properly and not misrepresent the views of those that are taking the time to have this discussion. You have repeatedly "nitpicked" only specific parts of my comments and ignored many others. It does not help your credibility and only cements you as an immature whiner. Your examples are weak and nitpicked and don't give a holistic view. That was the main point I was coming to. If you have issues with your specific loadout the problem is with the loadout not the game . Nobody is gatekeeping you here you are free to stop anytime , But some of us are trying to explain why things are as they are and you are the one with his thumbs in his ear going "lalalalala you are wrong I am right lalalala" , it seems more like you don't care to actually understand. If you don't recognise the logical reason for something existing, then you won't be able to convince the ones actually responsible for the changes to implement it. I also don't complain like you , so i am certain I will not be in the same position as you. I have given clear reasoning for why things are as they are instead of merely whining. What a load of bullS#&$, don't put words into people's mouths and then argue using those words. I have not said the things you are claiming. If you lack the ability to comprehend what is said i suggest reading again and asking for clarity. This is also not a forum where things get "passed or failed" this is general discussion , nobody here has any special power to do anything other than convince the rest of the participants one way or another. DE will end of the day whatever they feel like no matter how many "passing votes" you get. And are you intentionally ignoring things already said or are you genuinely unable to see the issues highlighted ? The reason I disagree is because I can see potential exploits that you clearly are blind to. If that's what you think then you are not only lacking common sense you are lacking understanding the economics of trading within the game. Let's me try to break it down for you. There are a few evergreen tradable items in the game. Prime parts, relics , arcanes , (Riven) mods and you can farm resources that lets you acquire these things in many such game modes via steel essence , Riven slivers , and as actual drops as well. The fact that you are not acknowledging this feels very much like gaslighting. You really do suck with examples , but you are on point in taking things out of context and nitpicking specific comments. And i probably should have clarified that it was with regards to using operator that such conditions should apply and not at all times. That's on me. So if it is not clear then let me re confirm , if you are in operator mode you should not be invincible while having any ability that provides passive benefits. It should either be for a very short period or with a gradual decay of DR over time.
  5. That's what they are telling you mate , check in you whole inventory if you applied the adapter to a lato NOT in your immediate arsenal. The shop shows you all the weapons from your entire inventory not just the currently equipped ones.
  6. Partially about programming and partially about application of the frames effects. That's why I mentioned the other examples even if you do turn off damage, damage isnt the only capability that frames have at their disposal. Nitpicking ? When you are the one focusing solely on turning off damage ? In a very specific game mode , with a very specific frame ? What a rubbish claim based on an already rubbish argument. If I had the option I would say frames only get invulnerability similar to how they get shield gates for a very brief moment or they get decaying DR from 100% to 0% over time. That's my line in the sand. You are the one that started the thread , so clearly you are the one that cares the most , I am perfectly content with how things are at the moment but if changes are to be done you need to first understand why the things are as they are. And it's less about defending the existing mechanics and more about opposing your immature assumptions of how things should change. Come up with more reasonable changes to discuss and I might actually agree with you. I also have no idea what the #*!% you are talking about with regards to rubedo , maybe try using words that make sense to explain what you are thinking. The only thing weird about this is your inability to see the issues that can come up with giving all frames invulnerability *at all times the operator is out. *Edited in later to clarify what I mean.
  7. So just watched teh cinematic trailer for the wisp prime access. what i noticed other than the smooth transitions, is that wisp pulled out a ... wisp? out of the fallen sentients. Is that a prelude for an augment that affects dead bodies somehow? would love some dancing lights.

  9. I think some were already mentioned , but not the point. Maybe not , (really depends how much the active player is interested in farming) but it is more about the ability to do so with little to no engagement than the speed of rewards. Things that can encourage passive acquisition are things that can be exploited. You assume things are as easy and as segregated as having a switch to turn things on or off between light and dark. That's not really the case. And not all passive abilities do damage directly , some passively do other things , like citrine giving everyone a DR or nekros give loot , While you would rather have the ability "switch off" others would rather that not happen and stay active while they gain some passive benefits while they use operators. There is also no guarantee that can actually work, you are too flippant in thinking your issues are the only issues that can arise out of the changes you propose. And the poor example you have kinda proves the point , it stops players from doing exactly what you are describing. And you are not expected to stay in void mode indefinitely. So Stop acting like your problems are the only ones that exist and anyone disagreeing with you is just trolling.
  10. I haven't said the invulnerable part stop wasting time with false quotes. Difficult to do since the whole topic is based on nonsense and illogical reasoning. But let's try. Yes , because of the current mechanics that prevent it from being ridiculous , the same thing you are asking to remove. Players aren't invulnerable if you choose to do said things. Very well , Xaku grasp and gaze , mirage (explosive ledgerdemain preferably paired with any area Armor removal mechanic) , umbra / wukong with kitgun or weapon having battery , Vauban with nail mine , Saryn , Octavia. Combine with suitable focus for more observable results. Just cause you lack the ability to notice the potential issues does not mean they do not exist
  11. You are free to think as you want , does not change the reality. Sure feels like someone is trolling in this thread if you are expecting effortless results at level 1000. I retract my previous statements , it's not a skill issue , it feels more like a lack of common sense at this point.
  12. I don't really see either cavalero or simaris as angry. Cavalero sounds more like violence crazy yahoo than anything else , aka stereotypical amerucan. And simaris sounds more like a crackhead needing his next fix (that gets denied to him if you kill the target) The truly angry ones I feel would be vay hek and lodun.

  14. Ok , but impact change is rather ... Meh , the other changes had a subtle but clear boost to effectiveness. The least I expected was a boost to status effectiveness like we have for empowered blades can we see some changes like that ?

  16. I do not like the incarnon adapter for plat changes too much. It smells a little off. But i will with hold any further comments on it , as I don't know if there is a weekly cap or some other conditions need to be met to unlock the shop. But it does not infuse me with excitement. Puncture and cold changes ... Seem ok , flat 25% CC or 50% CD after mods , so flat bonus ? Or will they be additive WITH mods ? It's ok either way , but i do not see myself actively changing my builds to accomodate for it. Impact changes are kinda ... Nowhere really , twice as bright and half as long ? The most pointless change that I have seen. Reading between the lines .... IPS mods are seeing a reduction of Max stacks from 10 to 5 ,but slash is not mentioned .... Curious. The number changes ... Ok I guess , I am a little concerned for the melee numbers following you around , there is already so much clutter. But will again not comment further until I use it. Overguard , was expecting that , so yay.
  17. This has been the case for some time now , any ability that provides passive effects makes you vulnerable , but with 90% DR. This is not new. So it's not completely without some defense. I really don't see it as a problem.

  19. There are many such annoying places where geometry (both invisible and visible) blocks you. So yeah , OP isn't alone in it. It is definitely annoying when it happens. Like stunning your toe.
  20. I don't think that's possible anymore , I may be wrong as I haven't tried to do a recruited orb heist in a while.
  21. I believe having kahl do invasion missions against narmer is such a simple way ahead for this , It can be limited amount per week to avoid inflation. And we can have a single sub objective per mission like we had bonus affinity objectives in the past.
