  1. Yeah, I'm also fond of it being changed to how it is currently. I just dislike how it doesn't feel well integrated lorewise. Even just some dialogue like characters saying "The Derelicts left adrift above Deimos" or being able to see Derelict remnants in the Cambion Drift or up in the sky.
  2. I assume you mean Kuva, Invasions and Arbitrations on those planets, right? Not "make them their own planets"? If it's the former, I don't see why not. I feel like the only reason DE haven't added those to newer tilesets is simply because they've been left in the dust, like why only recently we're getting Fissures in a unique form on Deimos and Zariman. I don't mind if the missions are just drag and dropped in but it'd be cool if they got the Fissure treatment and were made unique to those tilesets.
  3. I think it was that DE didn't like them requiring Keys to access, correct me if I'm wrong. But yeah, the Derelicts don't really feel like a part of Deimos. I know Forest Tilesets and Plains of Eidolon are hugely different, but you still feel like you're on "Earth" or an Earthly planet. It's hard to imagine myself being near Deimos when in the Derelicts.
  4. Recently I've been replaying Nightmare missions in Warframe and I noticed some things that...kinda bothered me. This isn't really exclusive to Deimos since the Zariman also does this but, Nightmare Missions don't spawn on the Entrati Lab tiles on Deimos. By no means am I saying to seperate them from a lore perspective, but I feel like it'd be nicer for players if both Deimos and the Entrati Labs were treat as different "planets" on the Star Chart. Allowing for Nightmare Missions and for Extractor Drones. I feel like from a lore perspective, the obvious answer is "The constructs in the Entrati Labs keeps the Infestation out" but despite being so close they couldn't feel further apart from each other. P.S. Thinking about it, the Derelicts don't feel connected to Deimos either.
  5. Hi, this is a question I had recently and I feel like there's a high chance it'll be shot down due to legal/copyright issues but I was hoping it could at least be humored. Since the Deadlock Protocal, the old Corpus Ship tileset is pretty much gone (as was intended) aside from a few rare instances such as Corpus Outpost and Citrine's Mirror Defence Is there any chance that the files/assets for the old Corpus Ship tileset could be made accessible to the public in any way? Since it's such a nostalgia area for me and probably many other people it'd be nice to have a way to visit them either inside or outside of Warframe, thank you!
  6. Could be. I think at the time of Ivara's release, the only invisbility was Loki and Ash. Loki being the invisibility frame and having much less duration, it might have been a balancing decision which seems outdated now that we have frames like Octavia.
  7. My issue with Dupe frames is Duviri. I have two Nezha Primes built, one built for Duration and Sprint speed, and the other is built purely around the Warding Halo augment. I'm unable to choose between them both.
  8. Yeah, that's fair. I guess I just dislike seeing the red numbers from bad polarity management.
  9. The thing I personally hate the most is when it comes to weapons that require Formaing 5 times to get all the Mastery out of it. I don't mind the "5 forma" thing personally. It's demanding sure but I'm able to ignore it personally. No, my biggest issue is how it locks you into a specific setup since you've got at least 5 Polarities that don't allow for a great deal of build freedom for other mod setups.
  10. My best guess is it was probably done to help synergize with Prowl's loot mechanic, since it requires you to be near enemies for a set amount of time. Not defending it, but I'm guessing that was probably the rational behind it.
  11. One idea I had for Rhino in the past was to turn his 1st ability into his Passive and make way for a new 1st ability. Passive Rhino Charge: When Rhino sprints in a (mostly) straight line, his momentum/movement speed/sprint increases. There is a cap to how fast Rhino becomes to prevent him from becoming a free Gauss. (Sprint Mods and movement speed buffs raise this cap) While at low momentum values, walking into enemies Staggers them and pushes them out of the way, maybe with a small amount of damage. This allows you to break free if you are covered in melee units, like Infested or Butchers. You're hard to keep pinned down/ While at medium momentum, enemies will recieve knockdown. While at high momentum, a small cone forms infront of you, ragdolling enemies you come into contact with.
  12. Kinda like how Vigilante Supplies is? Sorry, I just. Hate the concept of "damage per second = damage per shot" Fire Rate gives you more damage in a faster amount of time, that is objectively true. But it's not actually increasing your damage. It just lets you dump it out faster. Damage Per Second is just a meme to me, one so big that people are willing to call quality of life powercreep in favor of it. Reload Speed = Less weapon downtime, therefore higher DPS Accuracy/Recoil = Less misses, more damage being landed, therefore higher DPS The point I'm trying to make is, Damage Per Second quantifies everything, which means anything that improves a weapon objectively becomes power creep. Which is why I hate Damage Per Second as an objective truth when it comes to balancing in Warframe. Exilus mods like Vigilante Supplies and Power Drift dominate the Exilus slot because their competition is a sea of mediocracy. There's nothing of value because people refuse to allow for actual weapon improvements to function as Quality of Life.
  13. One idea I had in the past was a sort of Forma "Banking" system where you never lose your Polarities even when overriding them. I made a thread a while ago about it here with a quick mockup of what it could look like.
  14. Right off the bat. No damage, crit, multishot or status mods. The whole point of Exilus mods is that they were supposed to enhance a weapons QoL rather than being used for direct increases in damage. In my opinion, I feel like mods that "technically" increase Damage Per Second without incresing Damage Per Shot should be used for Exilus. Since they are often times used to increase the Quality of Life of a weapon. I made this thread because one of my favourite weapons in the game, has what I personally would consider to be a mandatory Quality of Life mod, that doesn't increase its Damage Per Shot but does increase its Damage when looking at it through the lens of Damage Per Second. However I think it should be eligable for Exilus status. The mod in question is Repeater Clip Repeater Clip On Reload: 105% Fire Rate when Aiming for 9s The Rauta has a decently fast reload speed, but a Fire Rate that feels surprisingly long at 0.8 but when used in conjunction with Repeater Clip the weapon feels really satisfying for a Hit and Run playstyle with a fast frame such as Nezha, or used in general combat. I know to some people "Damage Per Second" is all they care about and consider anything that increases that "powercreep" but I feel like when you look at things through Damage Per Second, then you have to evaluate everything based on that criteria. Anything that enhances a weapons Quality of Life at that point would in theory increase its Damage Per Second. Reload Speed? Recoil? Accuracy? They all technically increase it, which is why I never like looking at it from the angle of Damage Per Second.
  15. If it wasn't for the fact that the Liset Prime counts as a skin. I would've loved to throw this on the Liset Prime.
  16. Eh, I'm a bit iffy on this. For me personally, I feel like Warframe's charm is that almost everything in the game isn't really "alien" but rather, Life from Earth has evolved to the point of being unrecognisable. All life in the system with the exception of The Man In The Wall all seem to stem from Earth or Humanity. Even the Sentient was made by the Orokin.
  17. This seems like it might be the best explanation. I don't get it with Kahl or etc, maybe that's because I've been playing Warframe for so long. But I think I remember I always hated Conclave or the Cold Sorties because they would reduce your overall movement and parkour speeds. When those factors are changed in real time I adapt easily. But there's something about that feeling of "I know this frame should be moving faster but I can't tell what's slowing it down" that gets to me. Being hit by cold procs or stepping in ice? That makes sense. There's more of a noticable feedback that sort of explains it subconsciously. That being said, Qorvex also has an extremely lower sprint speed compared to other warframes which might factor in also.
  18. I think in general this is a pretty accurate reason why most people don't play a lot of nodes out there. At least with more recent gamemodes, once you've obtained all the weapon/warframe parts there's no reason to continue playing them since they are cluttered with the same weapon and warframe parts. If there was a way to say...opt out of Warframe/Weapon drops after completing them, such as a toggle (in case you ever want to farm them again for whatever reason) and replacing the weapon/frame parts with other desirable drops such as Relics, those game modes might see more use.
  19. Nah, other missions, warframes and effects don't seem to bother me. It's just the way the Pillars do that pulse. I just mentioned it was Night on Earth because I imagine that probably contributed to the problem due to having a much more sharper contrast between light and dark.
  20. I mentioned already I tried putting it to pure black to remove the energy effect altogether, and even that didn't help because it still produces a visible pulse, like looking at a shockwave.
  21. Thanks, though I wager the biggest factor for me currently is the storms we've been having for the past few weeks where I live. Possibly a result of low blood pressure? But apparently it's been a thing in my family where the pressure drop during stormy weather can cause us dizziness or headaches. Just my luck that for the past several weeks it's been non-stop. Kinda fitting I just got through a Wuthering Heights audiobook recently. Since it's certainly been wuthering. I guess I should've mentioned this earlier but I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to mention it in the thread or not. Regardless it only seems to be Qorvex that I'm getting these issues with while playing.
  22. This could just be a "me" thing but I thought I'd bring it up because it's resulting in me not enjoying Qorvex that much, despite him having a playstyle I actually want to use. First off, he's a big boi, a really chunky boy. I find his shoulders often obscure too much of my vision when aiming. I have the Porta Shoulder plates on him, which I didn't think would be huge but on Qorvex they obscure way too much of the screen. It splits my attention which can become irritating to play. An option to hide Qorvex's shoulders and/or arm accessories in general would go a long way. Even in the Foundry, The second and I think much bigger problem is his Pillars. I love his pillars from a gameplay standpoint but from a visual standpoint they start to make me feel unwell after a while. I just did the Orokin Reactor Alert Excavator mission on Earth, which I wasn't aware it was a Night time mission. Qorvex's pillars just seem to pulse like a flashbang every few seconds. So just doing that one mission made me feel a bit *off* after it was finished. I've not normally felt like this playing Warframe, even with most particle effects on Ludicrous settings and etc. In the past I've tried changing the Energy colors on Qorvex to pure black, but even without visible energy his pillars still produce a "pulsing" screen effect similar to a shockwave which also messed with my head a bit. Then you have Qorvex's 4th ability that overcharges the pillars, causing them to pulse every second or so. Please note, I'm not saying Qorvex's kit is bad or anything like that. I quite enjoy it. It's just his effects from the pillars, the overcharged pillars, and the irritation from his large frame blocking my screen while aiming tends to give me a headache and feel a bit dizzy. Even though nothing else in Warframe has made me feel this way.
