If we could pass umbra forma and exilus adapters and orokin reactors onto primes when they come you wouldnt see frames get abandoned so quickly. (also if all variants of a frame were squished together for your usage board that would really help) For example if you look at your most used warframes if Valkyr+Valkyr Prime counted as 1 frame.... then SOME people wouldnt care about using the normal version more/longer. I bench frames... I got grendel, caliban, sty, yareli, voruna, gyre, WISP, Xaku etc.... all fun frames but im not gonna use them if I can help it lol. Her passive is pretty good and she has a nice design, but I honestly don't know how to build her for her own abilities, so I just pumped up her HP and put Gloom in instead of Merulina. Caliban. The problem is like Styanax but worst. He is locked behind TNW plus you have to grind bounties. Not to mention his kit is poor. His 1 is a joke. His 2 is not useful. His 3 is a poor CC without grouping and send everyone flying (ie out of melee range and hard to headshot). His 4 is an armor strip that was severely overshadowed by Nekros terrify with an even higher demand of strength. Overall Caliban is a downgrade of Nyx - at least she can be immortal in her 4 and has much better fashion sense - and many considered Nyx to be outdated already. It's been a while since I found a new frame I really liked, but with Citrine that was achieved. Heck most of my frequently played part of the roster is made up of several new or newer frames. Right now I use Protea, Garuda, Lavos, Citrine, Frost, Baruuk, Saryn, Loki and Xaku. So it is a wide diversity between very old and brand new with a few from each era. Yareli has some playerbase because of the whole infamous publicity around her. Not to mention that she now has some actual function to her kit (most people who hate her, still hate her because of the drive). Caliban is basically a ghost. Nobody will ever mention him.
