  1. I understand your larger point and agree with it, but Adaptation counts as something. :P There are also a few other DR mods and some DR abilities that do this, but they're much more niche and/or restrictive.
  2. It's not a perfect measure, but judging by the small number of Decaying Keys I see equipped, it seems like a very small factor in a larger problem with support. I'm sure it's a bigger deal in endurance, but 30 minutes of SP? Some keys; not a lot. I'd like DE to come up with a better system for shieldgating but until they do I'm glad it encourages a few more people to try squishier frames in SP. Even solo Banshee can survive there without Decaying Keys, but it takes a lot of investment and/or a lot of jumping around like an idiot and/or tactics like Gloom which are, IMO, also sort of cheesy.
  3. I've been wanting this forever for Basmu-baby. I've even bug reported it. It'd be a small step toward making my silly altfire build slightly less silly. Another hybrid that can't equip beam range is Athodai.
  4. I always wondered if I was sometimes losing Initial Combo bonuses or if that was just a display quirk, but never got around to testing it. I guess it's real. I don't have the Incarnon Ceramic Dagger but I just confirmed what you found with a 60 initial combo dagger, looking at bleeds. I could consistently get 861 ticks on a first heavy attack, run over to another target close by, and those ticks were only 646. 4x down to 3x. You're probably aware of this, but I'll mention there is a kind of "amnesty period" before the combo goes down for the second part of the heavy attack. If I buffer the second "forehand" part while the "backhand" part is still happening, the second gets full damage. In that case both components do full damage. The combo goes down after the second part finishes no matter what though. Yeah, initial combo should just be a floor. That's so simple, I feel there's got to be some really funny reason it's even behaving like this in the first place.
  5. A personal favorite for mass ground attacks is Valk with Prolonged Paralysis. But lots of abilities and melee combos do this. As well as just simple slam attacks. Prolonged Paralysis is just very convenient, because, well, it's prolonged. :P Keep in mind ground finishers aren't simply meleeing an enemy on the ground, but special custom animations. They can be hard to execute sometimes, especially in squads. I'm in the habit of ADSing when I do it, and I remember vaguely that it helped some when I first started using them.
  6. I don't know about the rest of these tenno, but no, I really can't. :P
  7. I've played her several times in SP Circuit and I haven't died with her yet...but I've had some close calls. /checks breathing I do find her supertanky in regular SP. But in Circuit there are some attacks that can wipe out her 1HK her shields through Adaptation and leave her with no juice for Pillage until they recharge for a while. Plenty of time to get ganked if I was careless or unlucky. I think this has always happened in the second rotation or later. So not right at the beginning, but not what anybody would call Endurance either.
  8. I don't have any of them built yet, but Latron, seems to have a decent single target build if you don't use the Incarnon form. A lot of that is due to Double Tap not working in Incarnon, but I'd think the same to a lesser extent would still be true of the other weapons. edit: If I understand it correctly, Incarnon Boltor doesn't get any kind of AoE or homing attack , so there's that.
  9. I saw a video where the creator claimed it was Follow Through, but he presented no direct evidence. It inspired no confidence that he didn't comment on the fact that his Arsenal screen Follow Through was still 0.4x, though it's always possible that's bugged too. FWIW I think Lequesai's idea seems the most plausible. If so it's unfortunate that wouldn't affect heavy slams.
  10. Sure, I see the parallels, but it's a little odd to fret about Catchmoon, seeing as that happened in 2019. Also it basically only required dealing with level 30 content? I'm not sure about that--it's been a long time. Anyway, unlike Incarnon Lex, it definitely didn't have any SP requirements, since SP didn't exist yet. I know these terms are nebulous in WF, but one is a lot closer to mid game or early game than the other. Not that I'm saying you shouldn't worry about nerfs. I just think you could come up with better examples if you're determined to worry. edit: Also Catchmoon had the notorious "51% usage". DE nerfs based on performance sometimes, but overwhelming popularity is a lot more dangerous. We haven't even digested the Genesis weapons we have, let alone seen all of them yet. So let's see where Lex is at after a month or two.
  11. Promised is a pretty loaded word. Anyway, I believe the last mention of it was November's devstream, where they said it wouldn't be coming with Duviri. https://www.youtube.com/live/ckCzEmXehS4?feature=share&t=3667
  12. They tried (with the Prisma and Prime, anyway) but it looks like they didn't pay enough attention to Skana's evolution II.
  13. If I understand you correctly, this isn't a bug, just unfortunately the way it works. If one of your allied syndicates has cap room and the other doesn't, the game will allocate to the uncapped as normal and the capped syndicate standing goes to waste. So in your situation I'll often do a mission just to get to a cap and then rank up immediately. That's harder at low ranks though, because the caps can come pretty fast.
  14. Was I not clear? I'm not saying founders should get preferential treatment or that the Incarnon Prime has to be better than the Prisma. I'm saying they should be treated fairly and the Prime shouldn't suddenly become worse than the Prisma. DE is making a clear effort to use the adapters to balance out advanced variants in most cases. Notice, for instance, where the hotfix to Elemental Excess puts the status chance of each: 36%. I think they screwed up the numbers on Evo II here, unless they're going out of their way to tweak the noses of founders. The latter sounds absurd to me, and a miscalculation doesn't, so I'm going with "honest mistake" for now. Yes, I'm sure there are founders who will be very irked unless Skana Prime wipes its butt with every other Skana now and forevermore, but that's got nothing to do with my point.
  15. Ah, interesting. Do you know if stripping all the shields "manually" before the target enters the field and before they recharge allows armor to be stripped?
  16. I take it you're not a founder. To me the real question is, "Since the Prime was significantly better than the Prisma up until Duviri, shouldn't the Genesis adaptered Prime, at the very least, be on par now? I'm not a founder either, but I know "yes" seems like a more fair answer than "no".
  17. Looking at youtube, the stats are correct for evolutions 2 and 4 (The others are probably correct too, but I haven't checked them since they're not pertinent.) If my math is correct, just taking Wartime Nerve and Absolute Valor and ignoring mods and the other evolutions, etc. (since they affect the weapons about equally) results in the Prisma doing about 44% more crit adjusted damage than the prime instead of about 22% less. The prime does still end up with 10% more base status chance in that scenario. I don't think that comes close to making up the difference, but I'd want somebody with better math skills (like aznvasions) to make that call.
  18. The wiki says Gaze prioritizes shields over armor when targets have both--which is the case in all those examples. If you haven't already, I'd say try with two Gaze points. If that doesn't work, or it's not convenient, maybe you have to burn through their shields first.
  19. Again, look at the evolutions. It's much more plausible DE miscalculated Evo II's numbers, rather than accidentally balanced Evo III and IV. I'm not a founder, by the way. But DE not going out of their way to shaft them should be a given.
  20. According to the wiki, Follow Through has been in game since 2014, but was finally displayed 5 years later with the melee overhaul. There could have been different numbers before for all I know. But if so the wiki doesn't say it on the melee page and I haven't seen them.
  21. Are they owed an -inferior- weapon to the Prisma though? This is entirely aside from the status evolution adjustment, but Genesis Prisma Skana is superior to the Genesis Skana Prime. Which flips the relationship these weapons had up to now. It really looks to me like DE is trying to balance these two Genesis adapted versions so they're roughly equal, as evidenced by their maximum possible status chance now with that evolution, and their crit adjusted DPS with only Evo IV taken into account. If so, they've failed to balance Evo II though.
  22. I think so too. But they've got ridiculous numbers in other evolutions that seem to be wrong. Because they make the Prisma more powerful than the Prime. It's funny they didn't notice those. I'm not a founder, but they're getting the short end of the stick for no logical reason. Hopefully when and if DE does realize this, it'll result in buffs to the Prime's bonuses rather than nerfs to the Prisma.
  23. It's from the last hotfix: Changed the following Skana variant’s “Elemental Excess” Incarnon Genesis evolution: Prisma Skana: Increase Status Chance by 20% (was 30%) Skana Prime: Increase Status Chance by 10% (was 24%) My guess is somebody just realized the wrong number had been put in and fixed them without much thought. But if so, they didn't list it under "bugfixes" and the other evolutions have numbers that look switched or too low, and those weren't touched. As far as what DE did do, I'd feel pretty picked on if I was a Skana Prime owner.
