  1. Why? Is Duplicate good to replace heavy attacks? Have you tried tennokais? I don't like them but you get free & faster heavy attack. "On 4" makes you basially free heavy ever 5th attack. Combos were always more “fun,” right? Because Warframe is usually played for several hours and gameplay is like ancient chewing gum that hasn't tasted good since the Stone Age. and people don't want to pound on keys. but rather chill and farm and listen to music/youtube at the same time. That's why hardly anyone plays this ranged garbage where you have to hammer the left mouse button several times per second. I'm not sure if all but for me it's little different. It's not that I want afk in this game. I want to play this game. I just want to react to game events (e.g. enemy rushing at you) using in game action. The key point is my reaction time and action taken (e.g. block or roll). Old combo system basically overcomplicate inputs, forcing you to remember & execute certain key combination for basic movements. In real life I don't think about moving every single muscle. I think about destination, path, strength etc. It's much more "fun" to know what to do under certain situation. It's much less fun to understand your body so you can do basic moves. Something like this. I'd argue DE tried to address this issue with the Tennokai system: much of the enjoyment of melee combos is getting the timing down and knowing that when you do, you'll pull off a specific moveset with certain effects, I disagree, to be more precise: ^ this. What they wanted to do is NOT simply hold melee and react to something. It's not about executing combos. Sadly they half-failed at this because we are reacting to some random events rather than game events. It's like you play defense and all of sudden gold fish appears that nuke whole map for few seconds. The problem is that such combos are at the end of chain... sometimes. When I want to lift enemy I need it now. Heavy slam does it.
  2. Yes. At least plenty of people did it before this interactionn was somewhat limited, but I am sure still plenty run this setup anyway, because they invested into Shards: Regenerate +5 (+7.5) Shields when you kill an enemy with Blast Damage. Does not apply when Shield Gating occurs; players must wait for shields to recharge for the effect to apply. Currently provides shields on every hit on an enemy with Blast damage, despite the description of the shard stating "kill". I guess shield still have regeneration delay? And does it work if you have at least 1 shield (e.g. via Augur & co mods)? That's the problem with Shards in general. Shards are: - To fine tune your build. For example I'm missing 10% strength for 100% armor strip (190% + 10% of shard). - Pretty good with 1 or 2 shards (maybe not useful with more). For example 2x casting speed shard improve your casting speed "a lot". Or you have 2 Corrosive shard so you can fully armor strip enemies. - Slap as much as you can (aka 5, and if possible Tau). So 10% strength isn't great. However 50% or 75% is something very useful. This one falls into 3rd category. So with 5 shards you get 25-37.5 shield per damage/kill. I wish they would stop with 3rd category. Just slap something like 2x-3x more (e.g. 20-30% strength), limit to 2-3 shard per frame. I wanted to mention Sonicor but it seems that it was just its effect not Blast shooting enemies to the moon. I'm 95% sure it works based on Sim testing. But that points to its main (but not only) problem: it took ideal testing conditions and I'm still only 95% certain. Every other status effect is easy to verify in comparison. And are visible to anybody paying casual attention in actual missions. I mean, in theory a 75% accuracy loss for enemies is roughly equivalent to 75% DR. So what you can do if you know that you've built up those stacks is similar to what you would do if you had instead built your frame with an additional 75% DR. I wouldn't sneeze at that. The problem is that 75% is not 75% damage reduction. Xaku/2 can disarm enemies. Does it means it has 100% damage reduction? No. Why? Because it doesn't disarm lots of enemies. Some are invulnerable (e.g. Eximus). Some enemies just doesn't have guns. Maybe it's better than 'disarming Xaku' but I would still not call it 75% damage reduction. If it somehow makes enemies, I don't know, confuse you and not attack "75% of the time" then I would be "happier". this: I miss devstream where they explain more stuff. I've watched last stream and first hour is just "lets bully The STug".
  3. It's just a casual post from someone saying they're excited to reap the rewards of a long grind in a game about grinding. The very first reply to this post was some snobby "Why are you here? Go somewhere else" dumbassery that just puts people off from actually engaging with anyone here. And Zakhar's post were causal "could you elaborate?". Nothing wrong there. Don’t be afraid Say what you think, I’m curious Silence is gold. If you are really curious you can pm me. Honest question, is that power really worth anything? I've just stuck with his 2-3-4 Whole power? Teleport? Melee damage boost? Heavy attack + teleport? Augment? You would gain a lot if you are using melee. First it boost your critical chance by flat 200% (100% on infused). That applies on all melee attacks. Then you have combo gain with the Augment. On other hand your passive grants you 75% combo efficiency - so it let's you spam heavies more often. You have something like Ash teleport but with heavies. So I guess you can add Carnis set for some evasion and status immunity. Then you have some subjective or "fun" kind of style(s). For example you can put long heavy wind up speed melee and slide. Without melee it's not the best teleport. It's 25 energy so it's fine but you won't teleport through doors (so bad for spies) and you can get stuck (not teleport) on some not visible obstacles (like Dante's first nerf to 4th + Brozime video).
  4. I read every of your post and I 100% agree with you. And I have so much want to write more but I've warning already. It's a group effort to add value to a discussion and making dismissive comments like yours only takes away any value. You could have shared tips, build suggestions, or fashion but instead you just wanted to put someone down for being excited. Lighten up, it's a game forum, there's no need to be so freaking serious. Yes, it takes group effort but if someone starts post without making basic effort then it just not good. And what if OP doesn't want those things? Don't you think sharing stuff when someone doesn't like it would be considered toxic? Huh? :D So @Arniox do you have anything more to discus? "Don't be afraid". Yeah, maybe not the best but I honestly want to play them. My recent favorite were Dante. With post from other user: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1395216-i-like-that-dante-gives-hugs-and-kisses/#comment-13027238 Makes me appreciate frame even more. Honestly, Kullervo doesn't really feel like a melee Warframe at all, unlike Valkyr or similar. Sure, his main and biggest for of damage comes from Wrathful Advance but since it's a single attack tied to a teleportation it doesn't feel like using melee to me. It's weird and I can't explain it properly but this weird synergy between an ability and a weapon is a really great feature of Kullervo's. He is just not strictly Melee frame. It has 'melee stuff': heavy efficiency, melee boost, combo gain. And you can use teleport with augment THEN melee enemies. It really depends how you play him. It doesn't really forces you into 1 style, which is nice imho. If his Teleport were not bugged then it would be perfect.
  5. Yeah, just put it in one page and click "Paste as plain text instead"
  6. And it was 2k+! Crescendo is for 900-1000, Duplicate has similar price as Energize (I don't know why). All this stupid timegates or RNG artificially increase prices. At least we have cheap Energy nexus (5-15 plat). If it were for new player then it would be great. New player have.... hahaha... 0.3 energy per second with Dreamer's bound. One day I'm going to give newish (<=10 mr) players my Nexus so they won't have to bother with Dreamer's bound :D Farming 2 sets is stingy. Imagine getting only few rank 0 arcanes... with rng... MAX PER WEEK (Crescendo, Duplicate from Murmurs). I don't mind 5 sets - it's just 2 is not so small imho :D
  7. Im still amazed such an archaic and outdated energysource is so overpriced. *ignores but compares it to coal powerplants still being a thing* Not to mention people pay silly prices when there are way better options.. Energy nexus, primary exhilirate. A number of subsumes. Proteas. Citrines. Grendels. Archon shards.. Not to mention the bond mods for companions which turn your pets into orb mass production factories. Combine that with a single archon shard for energy orb efficency and bye bye energize. Bit noo aRCaNE EnErGIzE is a must on every build and the highlight of every event from now to the end of times.. *rolls eyes* Arcane energize is so much easier to use and doesn't take too much (space, slots etc) compared to others. Subsumes takes your precious ability slot. Citrine's ability is joke for infusing. Archon shards requires A LOT of time (time gate). And it's "per frame". Companion takes your companion slot. Primary Exhilirate - it takes only slot. And it's "just 3.6" energy per second (maxed). Energize takes "only" 1 of 2 slots. So you can still put something "powerful" in arcane slot. It gives you ~150 energy per ~15 second. Nexus would give you 45 and Exhilirate would give you 54. If you don't want to run specific setup or "waste" your only slots then there aren't many sources. There is Energize, one arcane for Operators and Energy Nexus, afair.
  8. It seems that Overguard has some problems in general. With dante & his overguard (not sure if it happens for other frames) I cannot melee block (auto & manually). After removing OG from my Dante I can block.
  9. Pfft. With "100% ammo efficiency on headshots" it's just waste. And it probably reload with similar time. Or let perks affect incarnon: +ammo and 100% efficiency on headshot IMHO 100% efficiency should stay. However it should affect Incarnon form at 50%-75% efficiency.
  10. It's still something. Haha I haven't Saw that coming. Appreciated!
  11. At this point they know they... Seriously, just 1 sentence and someone somewhere is creating art already. We don't need Citrine. hhaha Do we know any stats & such?
  12. Yeah, you are right. I don't like removing interaction with my other self (Eternalism) to open doors. Going into 2 different "personas" to open doors is what makes it fun! +1, Meanwhile Ash: *The Blue Box appears everywhere with wush sound*
  13. "A little". Standing or moving are combos as well but not something unusual. I sometimes use block combo depending on type/stance. For example some heavy blades has moving & spinning combo for block+move. Bullet dance (gunblades) have broken moving combo so I either do block+moving or just move & shoot (but that's problem of broken stances). And of course slamming. Some of things are dead or not very useful because it's either broken (e.g. bullet dance's moving combo stops your frame) or there are better alternatives (e.g. one combo just do more damage/range/something). Stances are mostly 2 maybe 3 usable combos.
  14. Fight *index faction* get 1 mod per kill :D
  15. 😅You sir, are a masochist. I don't know whether to clap or hide under the bed. It's pretty fun weapon. Even your monster under the bed agrees.
  16. In my opinion (I've heard it a lot as well) is that being healthy is good for you. Good diet (not too much junk food), exercise, sleeping (in your case it's different, more later) helps when person is struggling with something. Of course it's not foolproof but it at least gives you more chances of succeeding in what you want achieve. In case of some illness it's little bit different. You cannot just, for example like in your case "go to sleep". You achieved it via some other methods as well. That's probably very deep topic. In general I feel like you have searched & explored your issues a lot. I feel like you understand general & your specific issues/problems. That's commendable. Your post reminded me of a book my therapist recommended to me called, "Laziness Doesn't Exist". To broadly summarize one idea from it that has been impactful for me (and could potentially apply to OP's situation), we all have finite amounts of focus and energy that can only be restored with rest. Alongside that is the fact that over thousands of years, human minds and bodies have been shaped by the process of evolution, meaning that quite often things that seem undesirable about our bodies are actually ways that our bodies are trying to take care of us. So like, why do we get distracted? One reasonable theory is that when we run low on our ability to focus, we get distracted because that's our body's way of encouraging us to rest so that we can recover, rather than just grinding ourselves into the ground. Of course, our society still carries with some very Puritanical ideas that tend to be poor at acknowledging day-to-day human limitations, instead seeing them as weaknesses that we should overcome through sheer willpower. So getting distracted? That's seen as some kind of deficiency that we just need to push through. But if the aforementioned theory is correct, then that's similar to teaching people that being thirsty is a personal deficiency that we just need to push through. I like "opposite" theory. I think I've heard it via watching one of Jordan Peterson lectures. Theory is that human body (brain) evolved to "catch" every danger. We had to be perceptive in order to avoid danger. Many times in e.g. minute we try to understand our surroundings. We look at green "things". Is this snake? Did you hear that? Was that lion? So on and so forth. Our brain "likes" to be stimulated like this. However our surrounding evolved. We are in digital era. We have much more but different stimuli.
  17. Meanwhile mods seeing that OP has problems are very helpful, not banning them. :D To be serious, if you have any site that you spend too much time (in your opinion) then you can install some "parenting software" or similar stuff. Set some password, that you cannot remember, set some sites that you cannot go (without password).
  18. Exactly! Similar to OP I have few weapons most of the time. Although I have not seen Tenet/Kuva variants.
  19. Or what if you have 3 groups based on difficulty? Say for Tenet you go into 1 of 3 Parvos' hady stuff. Each level give you different weapon, e.g.: 1st) Plasmor, Detron, tetra 2nd) Cycron, flux riffle, Plinx, 3rd) Envoy, Diplos, spirex For Kuva it would be based on levels, for example, 0-30, 31-50, 51-80. and same as above, you would have 3 groups. Then you can simply add weapon to the group. The lowest level could be just stat boost (new element, +crit/status etc). Just boring stuff. 2nd & 3rd would be with some changes (e.g. Flux riffle changes from Battery system to normal magazine. The higher change - the higher group level it would go. I guess I was too early: To be honest, I would go with some sort items or conversion instead of acquiring specific weapon. Say you have Tenet Glaxion with 25.01% Toxin. You want Magnetic 60%. So you want many Tenet glaxion and at least 1 Tenet glaxion with magnetic (or just ~60% magnetic). This proces is not hard or "very" long (excluding holokeys & Ergo blast). However that's for only 1 weapon. What if you want many weapons? Or weapon with other elements (e..g. magnetic & radiation)? Without moding (&co) you have to refarm all stuff. My idea is that you can somehow: a) increase percentage without acquiring same weapon b) change bonus element without acquiring weapon with other element, potentially decreasing a little percentage This could be: - change weapon/sister/brother to item that "changes element to X" - mission drops above items (e.g. random or based on sister/brother bonus) This way you still have reason to go to sister/brother version of mission. And some players aborted missions. Whole Tenet/Kuva stuff is very mysterious. I read (more or less) announcements & stuff so I knew how to spawn Kuva on "release". After MANY months I thought about getting some kuva weapons. I was bewildered how can you even not spawn it. Like you have some node, e.g. survival. You go check drop table, rotation etc. How about Kuva brother? When light flickers you need to kill X enemies. EAsy? Yeah. What if you are doing some not kill related stuff? You would miss whole Kuva system! IMHO, whole system should be better explained. It should be more than "oh, you get lucky". Say for Tenet, you to Hand. Lotus says something about Ergo blast knowing some "stuff". You go to Ergo, he explain Tenet weapons, show you 4-5 etc. Kuva? Lotus could announce "Hey, lets kill more enemies maybe something happens, *wink wink*".
  20. You may not like it etc but Circuit version is easy. It doesn't need Titania or any "flying" frame.
  21. Melee arcanes shook it a little. Mele vortex & influencer increases your range. Vortex need magnetic, Influencer needs electric. I personally like Vortex as it's more reliable. I don't like overly complex structures (e.g. procing magnetic using companion) so I slap it mostly into 1 weapon. So I have magnetic (cold + electricity). I can mod for heat, toxin or gas. They could make all damage deal same damage value BUT it would behave differently.
  22. Yeah. They have recently (I think) changed so you e.g. auto-fail disruption if you don't do at least 1 conduit (killing enemies won't help!). But that's just (*ugh*) auto fail mission.
