  1. Primed Heavy Trauma: "Maybe if I believe in myself really really hard... I can somehow cut and Bleed the enemy, and thus get used more than just for Atlas players". Thats the option I chose though yeah, but I might try and mess around with some of the other options. I am also not the biggest fan of the default stance for Bo either, but I am not knowledgeable on the different combos values and which are considered good.
  2. Hah classic. Plus instead of holding dual daggers in both hands, just make the Warframe hold two daggers.. with one hand, two really long daggers, sellotaped together with Void Tape or something. Peculiar Effects would be great.
  3. Maybe if they give some Incarnon forms to some of the weaker Glaive weapons. Or maybe if they give a two handed/heavy Nikana an Incarnon that replaces Wise Razor stance.. A gunblade Incarnon would be great too, but all the gunblades we have are pretty top tier already so.
  4. Yeah that could be great, thank for you for the info. I am mostly interested in what its Incarnon mode may be. Like if it has a transformation or not. My only point of reference is the Bo Incarnon but it doesn't really do much in its evolved form. So I am not sure of melees will get a more substantial transformation state. So that week I will probably just go Despair and Dread (iI think they are in the same pool).
  5. I generally agree, however... I have come to actually like and almost prefer that we have an Incarnon weapon, thats base form is generally more useable and effective than the Incarnon form. Like on its launch, I was disappointed. I would have been disappointed even if its Incarnon form was superior... since it felt more like a pistol, where as its an Incarnon shotgun... Like it lost its punch through and feel of a shotgun. So then I just decided to use its base form, since I like shotguns better, and they hey, well look at that, the Felarx base form is really powerful as it is, So I kind of feel like its carved out its own identity. Will I probably use Strun Incarnon more? Yeah, I do like it more, but I also want a few more Incarnon Shotguns too (Tigris please) and I would also like a Kuva Sobek, and Tenet Exergis, but if I can't get those latter two, Incarnon forms would be nice. Or just any other Incarnon shotgun.
  6. I like it, nice explanations and presentation. Always been fascinated by the Roanoke Island mysteries. I assume you made some formatting changes too, which is appreciated.
  7. Maybe. I don't necessarily think that OPness is necessarily the only factor, but one factor among many, which itself can be a contentious issue, because more recently, a certain category of weapon has been making waves, and some people have been comparing those weapons to some weapons that were nerfed a few months ago, with one of the main reasons (and for some expressing discontent, the only reason they forward) both types being OP. Except many people also also pointing out important contextual differences and distinctions. Like many in this thread are pointing out, a reason why many gun weapons are in such a good state, were changes made to them, to try to elevate them to the general effectiveness of melee, so you don't want to create an ouroboros situation where the two just continually chase each others tails. Have to consider other factors. Like even if overall the general opposite category is considered the "meta", you'll usually have weapons that of the weaker category that are really really strong. If you consider guns more powerful right now, well there is still Glaive Prime, Gunblades, a few Nikana, Zaws, and few other weapons that are really strong, and make Steel Path seem like star chart. Personally, I would like to see some Melee Arcanes, but thats probably just because I like collecting Arcanes, and also choices for builds, and coming up with niche and personal set ups. don't really think they need an Exilus slot though. Also, I actually think what would help Melee even more as far as both effectiveness and fun... is if more of them had better stances. Two Handed/Heavy Nikana for example, could really benefit from this. Ghoulsaw, two handed/heavy Scythes. I think DE generally prefer (and I am being broad on purpose), but they like when the player is engaged. Guns, can usually be more engaging, but a lot of gimmicks/conditions can turn quite a few melees, into more than spam one button. Also when I mean "engagement" I don't mean in any intensive way. Can be as simple as the idea, that the weapon works best when you alternate between normal attacks and heavy. Consider the Corufell, or Sun and Moon. All the Tenet melee have special attacks. We are getting a whole lot of melee that have Incarnon modes. Albeit they may seem a bit underwhelming compared to gun versions so far. My main point is, I think... DE is more willing to make a weapon in general more "OP" if it has certain conditions or in game requirements to match, whether it be getting headshots here and there, having to use your heavy, having to "aim" with your melee. I think they try to sway away from "one button" gameplay, whether thats melee attack or shoot, over and over. So with that in mind, melee would be great with better stances. More unique/unusual modes/features that vary gameplay execution. Thirdly, I think the new Arcane that gives Crit to Heavy Blades, interesting, because the buff isn't timer based, its swing based. Which is important to note, because it recognises and addresses that type of melees strengths/weaknesses. If it were for all melee, well some types may benefit way more. Its a bit like that Gun Arcane thats about magazine and reload, but some guns can't really use them for variety of reasons. Well, more Arcanes that intended to buff specific classes of weapons... Could really help whole categories, instead of just buffing the already strongest weapons in each class. Like some nunchaku weapons could really benefit from an Arcane just for them.
  8. Also for clarity and transparency, I am also not judging you for expressing a little spite. It just seemed to be a factor and I wanted to acknowledge it. It is what it is. It can also just be difficult, because you touch on a lot here that to me, is subjective. I am not really interested in changing your mind, just simply disagree, Like I don't think its so easy to claim a Dev ignores or neglects players. Players are quite a diverse bunch with different ideals, preferences attitudes, and so on. Can be hard to cater to them all and make all of them happy. Players also often regularly and routinely ignore each others or neglect that other players may resonate more with systems than it might with them. I also can't really comment on games that annoy me. None really do. Occasionally maybe small instances here and there, likes bugs, or glitches. Like I lost around 2 hours of Circuit rewards the other day, but eh. Thats just me though, I can understand what you mean, in a more abstract sympathetic sense. Along those lines, you have my sympathy if Warframe is moving away from what you enjoy.
  9. Hi, I want to be super clear and transparent. You don't have to justify or explain your word choice to me. I am not judging, I am however saying that some people will find it odd and unusual. In context of selling/getting rid of everything (well not everything, but a lot of your gear), in order to enjoy this update. I don't think it justifies outright rude behaviour towards you, thats wrong, but I think it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone either that people find it odd or unusual. Those aren't inherently negative or hostile judgements. All of us probably do things that are a little unusual or odd to others. We can agree to disagree here. I don't think your framing of the issue is accurate or sincere to the efforts of DE. I think you assign too much intent on dictating what you should enjoy, when the likely goal and aim is more innocuous. Regardless I wouldn't try to convince you of this. It also just seems spite motivated. Though again we can agree to disagree. If you are interested why I think this? Well because by your own words, you attribute more intent to DE with comparisons with "a Dev decided what I would find more fun", its assign a belief and intent I don't think you have the right to call. Your right to not enjoy it, is valid but something else, and it also is reasonable. Whilst you also say you found a way to enjoy yourself, you also will often mention the hours and money you spent to get items, you presumably got rid of. Tied in with assigning more intent on behalf of the publishers, this seems like an attempt at a "gotcha" or "look what you made me do, DE, "because one of your Devs decided I should play as a hamster" so I am going to delete/sell or my Prime Frames, some I brought with money hah. Again, its your time, its your money, and your way of expressing yourself. I express myself a bot oddly to many too. Still seems odd though. Like if they reworked Nyx, would you quit the game? You don't have to answer.
  10. Yeah seems that way. Hopefully we will get a few unusual forms for them. I tend to prefer guns a bit anyway, but I know a lot of melee preferred players may feel a bit disappointed. Maybe the Sibear will do something crazy with ice. At least they will be good options to pick if they appear in the SP Circuit too.
  11. Thats the words the OP used, further up, about a dog being taken away. You like Operator gameplay yes? Not so much you would get rid of everything else? Well thats the extreme OP is taking, and yes its to their preference, but this conversation started because people find that extreme, odd, risky, taking it a bit too far. This is why my examples are extreme. Of course DE has never enforced deleting your stuff and yet... OP has, because of an assumption they made, and by having multiple versions of a Warframe, because thats how they have fun... yet they also regularly say things like "DE is taking away my dog", now you may be able to relate to OP, but I haven't seen you use such comparisons. Plus even if you relate to someone, you should also be able to see why people are taken aback. OP and there is nothing wrong with this, but they use odd examples to support their belief. They mentioned "not being a slave" and how its like "like taking my dog away and giving be someone else's hamster". There is absolutely nothing wrong with someone wanted to delete stuff, if you think that is the point I am making, you are misunderstanding the point. Some people like Sounding. People can even understand its a fetish, even if they definitely know they wouldn't like it. Nothing inherently wrong with it, but the discussion can be about how its a bit out there. Nothing mysterious about that. Does get unusual if a person involves an aspect of spite though. "I am doing this because its fun... but also I have to do this because "DE took away my dog". Has DE taken away your dog too?
  12. I hard agree. Its frustrating when I have to activate Power Drain a second time after I use Empower. Granted, I say this as a lazy Wisp player who is memeing a lot, and wants big big health numbers, so have negative efficiency and need to try and conserve my energy as best as can, but also need Power Drain and Empower to synergise better. Also its hard to not kill some enemies to get a Mercy Kill when you have too much Fire Rate... ah dammit, the consequences of my own actions...
  13. Bo feels a bit... underwhelming. I might just stick to getting the gun Incarnons from now on, until I finish them, then work on melee. Unless I hear from others if something was great. Going to be interesting to see a tier list of all the Incarnons when they are done. Plus it is funny, because unless you collaborate with people who have a similar play style and views on what makes a weapon great, will take quite a while before any single person has all the new Incarnon.
  14. So you wouldn't sell the other things you enjoyed, to play the thing you enjoy most? Or you would? Like you could still fight it, but if such a thing existed. Do you think DE is taking away OP's "dog" and giving them a "hamster"? Or do you think its just another game mode that some people may enjoy?
  15. For clarity. You are opening the special white light, glowing Caches right? The type where only 3 Spawn in a Sabotage (usually). Also does your Riven have any other qualifiers? Like I get that Riven Challenge a bit, usually it asks me to have a Sentinel present. Or to do it solo. So maybe the Plains one worked because a team mate had a Sentinel present? Maybe screenshot the Riven for us? Cheers!
  16. Valid, and understandable. You may have already, but if increasing your Intrinsics can help a little bit. Gives you more choices. I would wait for conformation too, you don't want to get rid of stuff unnecessarily in my opinion. Yeah, only item I regretted selling was the Bronco Prime. Its not to bad to farm though, I literally have like so many Relics with them. I think the multiple versions may be why OP keeps getting Nyx. Then again, could be weird RNG too, I have gotten Mesa and Limbo a lot. Like 10 plus runs and 90% so far. I must have a fancy hat thing going for me. lol
  17. Sure, that part I understand, the only liking a handful of weapons, the bit I specifically mention, is the bit about selling all those excess undesirable weapons now, and then also asserting that Veterans should get a deck style config to avoid randomisation. Its like someone saying I like dogs (that part is easy to understand), I like licking their bellies (it thats harder to understand). Someone questioning the latter doesn't need explanation on why people like dogs. Makes sense or offers clarity? Again, sure if it works for OP, that much I already acknowledged and agreed with. Oh and also, Choices are shown up for you, that you don't own, and you say they are not for you? Which is also counter to OP's point about getting rid of things. Its only really a tactic in OP's favour, if you get rid of almost everything, and have multiple versions of your favourite Warframe (which OP does). Even then OP also acknowledges, and none of us seem to know exactly how it works, because you may just get an increase of loaner items if you delete your arsenal. Again, if you are like OP and only want to play Nyx, and are totally fine and want to delete your arsenal, who am I to say otherwise, and I understand that, (that part) just curious as to why it took this update to delete them. I've deleted stuff I knew i wouldn't like before, prior to update.
  18. One additional thought. I think the Tigris should qualify. Yeah the Prime and Sancti versions are pretty powerful, but so is Strun Prime. Plus Tigris appeared in the Duviri teaser, and it has aged a little. Plus not many Shotgun options in the 30 we are getting, so...
  19. Thats a reasonable interpretation too, I would say the more accurate one as far as OP. Its just a bit odd. Like if DE said they would let you play Operator/Drifter in all the modes you usually can't, but you had to delete all your Warframes and Prime weapons and everything else and could no longer get new Warframes... would you agree? If so, no judgement at all, just I can't imagine most people would go that far. Thats why for many, the idea of selling all that stuff (because of an update, because again, its not like OP just decided to sell it randomly on some other day) is almost obscene. Like this update also came with Incarnon forms, which many find fun, but some people may also have to refarm weapons like Paris Prime, Braton Prime etc. What if an older Warframe gets a rework and you might have enjoyed that rework? Cutting yourself out from potential enjoyment by deleting so much is... bit of a gamble. Oh and to be clear, I don't think any of this entitles people to be rude to OP, nor am I excused it. I agree with you about peoples inventory, but ideally, I hope people also are motivated by their own joy. Avoid decisions out of spite or anger, but OP doesn't seem motivated by that (though I also wonder why they didn't sell all that stuff earlier, and if they only plan on playing Duviri from now on).
  20. Sort of but less floating, and more symmetrical. Like two to the sides and one above you. Almost like it forms an eye with you in the middle. Like biblically accurate Daikyu, since its a god tier weapon!!
  21. It looks very stylised, which I generally like with art work, but its hard for me to actually imagine what it will look like in game. It looks really cool, I like the concept idea, and its very detailed. Not really my personal taste though. For me, it seems too detailed in too many places. Like all over. I do like a lot of detail, but usually I prefer it, in some areas, to contrast with other areas that have less detail. Like if you have a detailed lower leg section? Less detail on the thigh area. Detailed arms? Less detail around the neck or chest. This looks detailed... all over. This however can be offset with colour choices though. Like the colour choices here, really emphasis the detail. If I were to throw in a few more darker or muted colours, some of that detail can be emphasis or lessened, so... I could also see myself actually really liking it. I am going to buy it either way, since I really like Gauss, and have 1 Appearance Config left. Plus more with Prime version.
  22. Incarnon Daikyu form, should give you ethereal ghost arms, around your Warframe. Three extra sets, in a circle, so you are holding 4 Daikyu's and all of them point at one point. A Circle of Daikyu all charged to max then loosed. That would be fun. Would look dope too.
  23. Enjoying them a lot so far. Though, I was the kind of player that already tried making some of these weapons Steel Path viable, with Forma Investments, Rivens I picked up over the years, etc Though I invested more into the Braton Vandal, but decided to use my Incarnon on the Braton Prime, which had no Forma, and then to level it back up. I was surprised at how it it could now handle Steel Path Kuva Fortress missions. Paris Prime is my favourite though so far, gimmick wise. It reminds me of the Crissaegrim from Castlevania. Aka the Valmanway aka Blessed Wind. In that game, the gimmick was that was a sword that hit and moved so fast, it gave the impression of multiple blades bending and swirling, hitting many many multiple times than normal swords. With the Paris Prime Incarnon, it looks like you launch a whole bunch of spinning blades/scythes at the enemies that cut through them like butter. Am curious to see all the rest of the weapons will be like and getting my hands on them. Especially some of the secondaries and melee options. Small part of me wishes they added a few new original and unique Incarnon weapons though too. Also wish we could preview the Incarnon form in Appearance selection, so we could fashion it with that in mind.
  24. On the surface it cane seem like a "cut off your nose to spite your face" situation. Like OP didn't sell all that stuff before the update, so doesn't seem like something OP actively wanted to do, so it was this update that prompted it. Also it was OP's seemingly unconfirmed belief, that by selling all that stuff, it would ensure his percentage of getting Nyx Prime more. Does OP only plan on playing Circuit missions from now on and nothing else in the game? Also OP makes the point of talking about how Vets should have a Deck builder stye Inventory option to limit the range without selling things. So one could interpret this as someone unhappy with what DE decided, saying "Oh yeah, well I am just going to sell all my stuff and Prime items, haha, what are you going to do now DE? What are you going to do now?" well to most people, selling Primes and hard to get items, just sounds like a way bigger negative to ones self than DE. Not to OP though, if they actually sincerely only like playing Nyx Prime. Hence.
